Využití myšlenkových map ve vyučování angličtiny / Mind Maps in English LanguageTeaching

Borovková, Petra January 2013 (has links)
The thesis discusses using mind maps in English language teaching. It explains what mind maps are and how to use them effectively. This thesis includes a theoretical as well as a practical part. The theoretical part offers two points of view of the problem - psychological and pedagogical. The psychological part deals with theoretical knowledge of memory and learning. In the pedagogical part, firstly learning styles in connection with mind maps are discussed; secondly some demonstrations of using mind maps in various English textbooks are presented. The practical part focuses mainly on new ideas. First chapter of the practical part shows various classroom or individual mind map activities that concentrate on different language skills. The second chapter is the most important section of the whole thesis as it introduces a new method for learning vocabulary via mind maps. Observations of four students using the method and reflections on it are offered in the following chapters. Finally, the results and conclusions of the observations as well as the advantages and disadvantages of mind maps in general are presented.

Didaktické aspekty rozvoje tvořivosti ve vyučování fyziky / Didactical aspects of nurturing creativity in physics teaching

JÍNA, Karel January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of creativity in the teaching of physics in elementary school. Creativity is first described in general. The reader will learn what are the aspects of creativity, what are the characteristics of creative solution of problems and how is creativity being developed in the course of live. Then, the thesis focused on the pedagogical concept of creativity. Didactic aspects of creativity teaching are presented here and creative teaching methods are characterized. Further is the work already focused on the teaching of physics itself. Besides traditional teaching methods are introduced mind maps, divergent physical tasks and advice for the realization of creativity teaching. The practical part of this thesis is the suggestion of the collection of divergent tasks and ?research probe?, i.e. the practical verification of several tasks. The tasks were given to two different groups of students, one of which had already had experience with solving these tasks, and for the second group it was something new. The results of both groups were compared and conclusions were made.

Role koordinace kreslení a psaní ve vývoji ke školní zralosti / Role of coordination between drawing and writing in the development toward school readiness

Kylarová, Helena January 2018 (has links)
In this diploma thesis we build on the topic of mental operation used in Jirásek's orientation test of school readiness. We aim to explain which mental operations are crucial for acquiring the skill of looped writing reproducing. We are looking for children's ideas about writing, in particular for their way of expressing the ideas about looped writing. Our theory is based on Piagetian approach and we also do a comparison to other authors, namely Anette Karmiloff Smith, Emilia Ferreiro and Ana Teberosky, Esther Adi-Japha and Norman Freeman. Data obtained using cross-sectional research on preschool children (of age from three to six years) suggest that there is a link between a success in the test of looped writting reproducing and iconicity overcoming. On the other hand, no link was found between acquiring the skill of quazi-iconicity and looped writting reproducing. KEYWORDS Preschool age, test of school readiness, looped writing, mental operation, iconicity, quazi- iconicity, cross-sectional research.

It maps the cognitive processes of pupils in the context of the acquisition of the conjunction language phenomenon and the important moments in which the primary child preconception changes into the language term in the pupils mind. Introduces with the process of conceptualizing the language reality, in which he detaches from the naive child concept of conjunction to the specific linguistic term of a conjunction as a verbal type. It describes the individual parts of the research, in which the individual thought movements of pupils in the area of linguistic gripping of the term conjunction are gradually transformed. It presents the individual research methods as tools by which we monitor the development of the preconception of the conjunction in the linguistic concept. Managed interviews...

Projekt praktické činnosti jako prostor rozvoje faktorů tvořivosti u žáka primární školy / Project practical activity like place for progresing of factores of creativity of schoolchild in primary school

MÍČKOVÁ, Jaroslava January 2015 (has links)
My dissertation deals with the contribution of practical activities as scope for the factors developing creativity of primary school pupils. Firstly, the definitions of the terms creativity, technical education and project teaching, based on specialised literature, are introduced. These three theoretical spheres focus in detail on the creative process and product, creative factors, convergent and divergent thinking skills, the creative person and the methods that help develop his or her creativity. I try to clarify the technique as a means of development of practical activities. After that I deal with the educational area "Man and the World of Work" and present possible topics for the development of creativity in working education. My thesis demonstrates a project together with its types and focuses on the implementation and benefits of project-based learning. The practical part is focused on the development of individual projects. Fifteen individual projects, helping to develop creativity of pupils at primary schools, were offered to twenty-one teachers. These teachers participated in a questionnaire survey and they were given an opportunity to provide feedback on the above mentioned individual projects. The results of the survey are described in the sixth chapter of this thesis.
