Nároky zaměstnance při pracovních úrazech a nemocech z povolání / Employee's claims in the case of work accidents or occupational diseases

Špačková, Hana January 2018 (has links)
The topic of this thesis is employee's claims in the case of work accidents or occupational diseases, because the assessment and determination of damages is still an actual issue. The first part of the thesis deals with theoretical introduction and definition of terms which are material for the whole thesis. The first part defines the liability in labour law, the liability of employee and employer, work accidents and occupational diseases and mainly the employer's liability for damages and non-material damage caused by work accidents or occupational diseases to employees. The next chapter focuses on insurance which is obligatory for all employers who employ at least one employee. This insurance is important in case of the employer becomes liable for damage or non-material damage caused by work accidents or occupational diseases. The insurance is important especially for small and medium-sized employers for whom the compensation could be liquidating and could lead to the termination of their activities. The most importatnt chapter of the thesis is the chapter concerning individual types of employee's claims for damages or non-material damage which arise from work accident or occupational disease, or claims of survivors of employee in case of employee's death, and their assessment. The most...

Vliv vrozených hyperkoagulačních stavů na hladinu D-d se zaměřením na gravidní ženy

ŠTÍCHOVÁ, Zuzana January 2017 (has links)
The thesis analyses the female patients' data from Clinical hematology department in České Budějovice hospital from year 2014 to 2015 and tries to statistically confirm connection between D-dimer level and hypercoagulable states described in previous bachelor thesis. D-dimer assay is due to negative predictive value and high sensitivity an initial laboratory test to rule out tromboembolic disease. However, it has low specificity. The elevated level of D-dimer is observed in conditions like infection, trauma, acute cancer, recent surgery or pregnancy and last studies showed increased D-dimer level even in combination with inherited hypercoagulable states. Thus, it is necessary to analyse the level of D-dimer in pregnant women related to specific hypercoagulable states. Moreover, the thesis analyses the influence of other factors like anticoagulation therapy on D-dimer level and tries to find connection between D-dimer level and pregnancy associated complication, birth weight or a type of delivery.

Studie proočkovanosti a vakcinační disciplíny u povinného očkování / Survey of vaccination coverage and vaccination discipline in compulsory vaccination

MAXOVÁ, Marie January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this survey is also to determine vaccination coverage in compulsory vaccination of kids in the first years of life, compliance of vaccine dose timing with vaccination schedule and reasons why some children were not vaccinated. Another goal is to analyse the reasons for some kids in the first years of life being vaccinated late and whether some kids in groups most at risk are vaccinated against tuberculosis. We used a quantitative research method in the form of a cross-sectional study comprised of data collection and analysis. Our research sample consisted of children born in the years 2009, 2010 and 2011 in České Budějovice district. The reason why we have chosen this particular group of children is that (if applicable vaccination schedule had been adhered to) they were supposed to be fully vaccinated against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, haemophilus influenzae b, Hepatitis B virus, poliomyelitis (DTPHibHB). This group of 831 children (427 boys and 404 girls) have been chosen by random sampling from practising paediatricians. These selected physicians provided us with data about all children born in above mentioned years. The results showed that overall vaccination coverage for Infanrix Hexa vaccine (four doses) is 98.2% and 97.26% for Priorix vaccine (two doses). Vaccination coverage for tuberculosis in the years 2009 and 2010 was 90.05%. In the first years of life, up to 88.1% of newborns were vaccinated against tuberculosis ? at least, according to vaccination schedule (and applicable Order). In the first year of life, 99.9% of children have been given three doses of Infanrix Hexa vaccine against diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae b invasive disease and Hepatitis B virus. In the first eighteen months of life, 97.4% of children in analysed sample were given fourth dose of said vaccine. 68.6% of children were given the first dose of Priorix-Tetra vaccine in the first fifteen months of life. In the following six to ten months, 75.4% of children were given the second dose. Further analysis revealed that in 40.5% of analysed records some vaccine dose timings were not met. The most common reason for vaccination delay was the state of health of the child. Two instances of vaccination delay were also caused by the omissions of parents. In 2010, indication for vaccination against tuberculosis was recorded for one newborn. In 2011, for four children from the analysed sample vaccination against tuberculosis was recommended. In all cases, vaccination against tuberculosis has been carried out in calmetisation centre. Taking into account my study and its results I can safely assume that the goals of my diploma thesis have been met and the hypotheses set forth have been confirmed by the research.

Kvalita života u pacientů s CHOPN / Quality of life in patients with COPD

KLÍMOVÁ, Pavlína January 2014 (has links)
Theoretical foundation Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ranks among the most serious diseases in the population. The COPD prevalence is assumed at up to 7,7%. As the name shows, it is a chronic disease characteristic with typical symptoms including particularly cough, expectoration and noticeable dyspnoea. The symptoms may get worse above their common level in the course of the disease, which we call exacerbation. The presence of unpleasant breathing problems affects different life areas, restricting the individual when performing everyday activities. The patient's psyche is affected as well, including potential incidence of anxieties or depressions. Finally, the patient's subjectively perceived quality of life is significantly worsened. Goal of the thesis The goal of this thesis is to ascertain the areas in which COPD affects the quality of life. Hypotheses H1: COPD patients feel breathing problems. H2: COPD patients feel restrictions in the sphere of common daily activities. H3: COPD patients feel restrictions in the sphere of physical activity. H4: COPD patients feel restrictions in social sphere. H5: COPD patients experience negative feelings. H6: COPD patients perceive their quality of life as bad. Methodology The research investigation was implemented based on quantitative inquiry within the grant Project No. 120/2012/S "Reflection of life quality in nursing". The data collection was performed under use of quantitative method; the research investigation took place with the help of questionnaire technology. Two questionnaires were used: St. George's Respiratory Questionare Czech (SGRQ) and WHOQOL 100 generic standardized questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed to persons with diagnosed chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The selection set was made up through quota selection that was observed. The quotas consisted in COPD diagnosis and the respondents' gender. The proportion of men and women was specified at 500 persons, 294 men and 206 women from that number. The research set consisted of 296 men and 207 women, i.e. 503 respondents in total. The investigation took place through addressing general practitioners, specialized outpatients' departments and chest disease wards. Results The results were processed with the help of the SASD program (statistic analysis of social data). The results can be divided into three groups. The first group includes the results characterizing the structure of the research set; the second group includes the graphically represented results, and the third group includes the results processed with the help of descriptive statistics. The last two groups include results from both questionnaires used. The results allowed us obtaining information on perception of breathing problems by the patients, on the sphere of common daily activities, on problems in the sphere of movement, on social sphere, on experiencing of negative feelings and on subjective perception of quality of life. Based on the results, the hypotheses were evaluated as follows: H1: COPD patients feel breathing problems confirmed, H2: COPD patients feel restrictions in the sphere of common daily activities - confirmed, H3: COPD patients feel restrictions in the sphere of physical activity not confirmed, H4: COPD patients feel restrictions in social sphere - not confirmed, H5: COPD patients experience negative feelings confirmed, and H6: COPD patients perceive their quality of life as bad - not confirmed. Conclusion The thesis provides comprehensive view of the spheres affecting the quality of life of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It may be used not only for nurses but also for the whole multidisciplinary team caring for the patient. The thesis may be used also as study material for nursing students. The results of the research investigation will be further presented at conferences and published in professional journals.

Poskytování spirituální péče na jednotce intenzivní péče / Providing spiritual care in the intensive care unit

Čermáková, Věra January 2018 (has links)
The rise in modern nursing and nursing processes using holistic philosophies. When providing care it should be taken into account the biological, psychlogical, social, but also the spiritual needs of patients. Caring for spiritual needs is an integral part of comprehensive care. Providing spiritual care and psychological support are among the main activities of hospital chaplains. Their work is of great importance in overcoming all the difficulties that illness brings. They are part of a multidisciplinary collaboration in the treatment of patients without a distinct faith. The aim of the thesis is to find out the level of awareness of patients in the sphere of spiritual care, their expectations and their contribution. For the thesis I chose to collect data from a hospital through quantitative research using an anonymous questionnaire. The target group of my research will be 100 patients who are hospitalised in an intensive care unit with a minimum hospitala stay of 7 days. The goal of the work was fulfilled. The result of the research was confirmation that the spiritual care provided was reflected in their psychological state and also fulfilled the patients expectations. In the conclusion of my thesis I recommended some ways in which to improve the quality of care in the area of spiritual needs....

Odpovědnost za škodu při pracovních úrazech a nemocech z povolání / Liability for damage regarding occupational accidents and illness

Vavrošová, Eva January 2012 (has links)
I have decided to devote my thesis to the topic of "Liability for damage regarding occupational accidents and illness". I consider this problem as very actual, especially regarding currently held debates on particular ways how the damages should be paid in order to compensate a work injury or an occupational disease. As a whole, the work is divided into eight chapters and their sub-chapters. The first two chapters consist of a general introduction into the topic. The very first of them focuses on the importance of employees' health protection (the importance of prevention) and tackles some questions of safety and health protection at work. The second chapter sheds light the concept of duty in law in general and in labour law in order to create a general picture of the problem of damages duty of work injuries and occupational diseases. The major part of my work is devoted to the currently used legislation on damages of work injuries and occupational diseases, which is however understood as temporary and thus is included in provisional law enactments no. 262/2006 Coll. of the Labour Law Code. It is based on objective damage duty held by the employer to a harm caused by a working injury or an occupational disease. Its basis and preconditions of its emergence are described in the third chapter. An...

Poimenická služba vážně nemocným a umírajícím. Přínos logoterapie poimenice / Pastoral service to ill and dying. The Logotherapy contribution to the poimen

Martelliová, Lenka January 2015 (has links)
In my thesis, I focused on the topic of poimenic in the care of seriously ill and dying in biblical context and specialized care, with respect to the tradition of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church, which includes the concept of spiritual care and theme of sacraments. I described the spiritual needs of the sick and dying, the means of this care for them, which are: interview, prayer, sacraments, and an accompanying person. With regard to the target group of the topic of my thesis, I deal with psychotherapeutic approach of logotherapy: the context of its establishment, the importance of the author, by the very meaning of the term and the idea of the values of V. E. Frankl, the topic of freedom and responsibility, tragic triad and techniques of this psychotherapeutic school. In conclusion, I mention the benefits of logotherapy in the pastoral care of the seriously ill and dying. My thesis shows the importance of poimenic and logotherapy in the service of seriously ill and dying. Logotherapy enables the patients to understand their life story in a deeper way. It can also serve to an accompanying person, in his/her service, his/her life and understanding of the seriously ill and dying, to whom he/she comes. Logotherapy is also a tool to help those whose lives are not accompanied with practiced faith in the God. It...

Odpovědnost za škodu při pracovních úrazech a nemocech z povolání / Liability for damage regarding occupational accidents and illness

Lachnit, Ondřej January 2011 (has links)
Ondřej Lachnit Liability for Damage Regarding Occupational Accidents and Illness The following thesis deals with the issue of liability for damage regarding occupational accidents and illness in the Czech Republic. At the present time, employer's liability conforms to the Labour Code from 2006, which builds on the preceding Labour Code from the year 1965. A rich judicature concerning occupational accidents and illness has been formed since the 1960s. In this thesis, I often quote from this judicature. The current Labour Code, however, only provisionally deals with this issue; an ensuing change is about to take place due to the passing of a new law concerning the workers' compensation insurance. This law is already valid, but has yet to become operative. The law will come into effect on January 1st, 2013. Whether the law will become operative is questionable as its legal effect depends on the political situation in the Czech Republic. Currently, the right-wing government does not favour the new law, since it would burden the state budget more than the current system. In the Czech Republic, the employer's liability for damage regarding occupational accidents is defined very broadly:...
