Česká dramatická tvorba dvacátých let dvacátého století / Czech drama in the twenties of the 20th century

This thesis focuses on the issue of Czech drama in the twenties of the 20th century. Specifically, it focuses on the repertoire of the National Theatre. In the first chapters, the state of drama in this period is briefly analysed. In next chapters, dramas are selected that were written by the Czech writers others than the Čapek brothers and introduced in the twenties of the 20th century. Three thematic pairs of dramas were chosen from this limited selection for the purpose of further analysis and comparison. The core and most important elements are the analysis and comparison of pairs of dramas whereas every pair composes of one successful and one unsuccessful drama. All dramas were introduced at the National Theatre in the twenties and all of them were considered as an average when compared to the work of the Čapek brothers. Furthermore, the analysis and comparison of every pair is accompanied by the contemporary critics and reviews published in the newspapers. Based on the comparison of both successful and unsuccessful dramas that are thematically close, the thesis outlines the information on most probable reason why every individual drama was successful or unsuccessful with the audience, on what was popular among the audience, on the contemporary trends and on the common taste of average...

S libertiny napříč stoletími / With libertines through centuries

The thesis focused in details on libertine literary movement in 17th and 18th century and subsequently its influence in later centuries. The first part deals with the general meaning of libertine literary movement, the second part contains information about the development of libertine literary movement in the 17th century with authors Cyrano de Bergerac and Theophile de Viau. The third part concerns the development process of libertine literary movement in the 18th century, specifically through the six authors: Crébillon younger, Louvet de Couvray, Restif de la Bretonne, Boyer D'Argens, Vivan Denon and Choderlos de Laclos and four specific libertine works: Therese philosopher, No tomorrow, About education of women and Dangerous Liaisons. The fourth section contains selected authors, for which it is possible to find the impact of libertine movements on their work or lifestyle. The aim of this master thesis is to present one of many trends in the development of english primary schools. The trend is more precisely defined in the name of this master thesis and namely as "Developing of the inclusion of Key Stage 1 pupils in the first year with English as an additional language." In the theoretical part, this master thesis shall bring a description of the structure of english primary schools, more detailed description of primary community school and the characteristic of pupils with EAL. Furthermore trends and requisites for education of pupils with EAL (English as additional language) in core subjects which are English, Mathematics and Science in the first Year of Key Stage 1 shall be described. The practical part is the crucial part in this master thesis. Qualitative research shall be carried on by means of case study in the first year of Key Stage 1 at community primary school in Derby which is a city in England. For complexity of this case study were placed three questionnaires and realization of a model lesson. The first questionnaire was placed for pupils in the first year, the second one for their parents and the third one for the class teacher and her two assistants.
