Divadelná Nitra is an international theatre festival with over 20 years of tradition, which annually brings a selection of the best European productions of the season to Nitra. Visitors are offered a presentation of the top contemporary theatre productions, exceeding to dance, physical, visual and music theatre, new and inspirational art forms, rich accompanying and work programme, and many other art and cultural activities. The festival is an internationally recognized event and is of vital importance in the context of the current Slovak theatre. Yet, as many other non-profit organizations, it has been struggling each year to maintain a stable financial situation, and despite an enormous effort and an experienced management team, the festival cannot avoid some organizational problems. Several of them are related to marketing of the organization. The aim of this marketing audit is to analyze the current situation of the festival Divadelná Nitra, to evaluate the state of its own marketing activities, and, along with discovered results, to propose solutions that could help to improve marketing of the festival Divadelná Nitra.

This Master’s thesis deals with design of hydraulic circuit of laboratory of the Slovak university of agriculture in Nitra with focus on project of its machine part. The thesis includes a description of current condition of the laboratory and a list of investor’s requirements. The main task of this thesis is to complete a project documentation which will be used to build a hydraulic circuit in laboratoty of Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering under Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. The hydraulic circuit is based on recirculation concept. It consists of an underground water storage tank, stainless steel distribution pipes, measuring flumes and centrifugal submersible pumps. The hydraulic circuit will serve employees of the university for their scientific and educational purposes. Important parts of this thesis are hydrotechnical calculations and circuit control visualisations. The final design is based on a series of negotiations with the investor and suits his requirements.

(in English) The master's thesis entitled Translation Studies in Central European Thinking. Analysis of the Relationship between the Poznan School of Translatology and the Translation Studies Centre in Nitra is devoted to the development of the Translation Studies discipline in the Central European region in the second half of the 20th century. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the reader to the process of creating the discipline of Translation Studies in the Central European context and presents the emerging centres of translation research in Poland and Slovakia: the Poznań School and the Nitra School, as well as the most outstanding representatives of both translation schools and the key issues of their translation concepts. The thesis, based on available sources and literature on the subject, presents relations and contacts as well as an exchange of inspiration between the Poznań School and the Nitra School. The practical part analyses the article by Edward Balcerzan, Poetics of Artistic Translation (1968) and the book by Anton Popovič Poetics of Artistic Translation (1971), key representatives of both schools of translation, and among others, looks for the answer to the question What was the poetics of artistic translation for Balcerzan and what was it for Popovič? Diploma thesis deals with analysis of completion of plaza in the city centre, determination of it´s cash-flow and economic efficiency and afterwards the work determinate the costs and benefits of the investment for city district of Nitra and for it´s inhabitans in comparison to currently approved variant. Theorethical part of work descripe the basic terms, methods and theory that will be used in the practical part of work Practical part of work look to potentionally real project, specify its cashflow and efficiency and also relative externalities, costs and benefits for city district.

This Diploma thesis deals with the solution of project documentation for the new Suzuki car showroom building. The proposed object is situated in region of Nitra in Topolcany district, located in suburb part of Topolcany town. The car showroom is designed as a building consisting from the car shop - showroom and the services for Suzuki automobiles. The car shop - showroom is designed as the operation for car sales and the administration part on the second floor. This part of the building is covered with warm flat roof. The second part of the object - Car service is a one-floor building covered with wood, truss purlin constructure in the shape of a saddle roof and in inclination of 9 degrees. The supporting construction of the building consist from cast-in-place reinforced concrete frame in the showroom part and from masonry system Ytong system in other parts of the building.
