Adaptace nových zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci jako jeden z nástrojů snížení fluktuace / Adaptation of new Employees in a selected Organization as an Instrument to Reduce FluctuationsČevelová, Kristýna January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis is concentrated on connections between adaptation and staff tur-nover in particular organization. Especially it is about the finding whether the increased given notices in organization are based on adaptation or it is caused by other reasons. In the analysed company the qustionnaire was spred among the current workers with the intent to find out, whether the staff turnover of technical workers is influenced in the first place by bad adaptation or not. The survey results confirmed that there exist other reasons above all. The adaptation can be perceived as a suitable instrument for fluctuation decrease but under condition the adaptation is prepared properly.

Vzdělávání zaměstnanců v adaptačním procesu / Employee Education in the Process of AdaptationHanousková, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
5 ABSTRACT The presented thesis, which is complemented with a case study, deals with education of employees in the process of adaptation. Attention is paid to the theoretical anchoring of this issue by specialised literature. On the theoretical level, the thesis outlines adaptation and adaptation process, employee training as well as education of employees who are in the adaptation process. This theme is deliberately shown in connections and actual context through introduction of the system of education of employees in the adaptation process as it is set in a selected company. It discusses the way of identification of educational needs, and the planning, implementation as well as subsequent evaluation of the education. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of education of employees in the process of adaptation, and to find out within empirical research how the system of education of employees in adaptation process is set in a specific selected company. Keywords: adaptation process, new employees, human resource management, employee education

Bayesian Estimation of DSGE Models / Bayesovský odhad DSGE modelůBouda, Milan January 2012 (has links)
Thesis is dedicated to Bayesian Estimation of DSGE Models. Firstly, the history of DSGE modeling is outlined as well as development of this macroeconometric field in the Czech Republic and in the rest of the world. Secondly, the comprehensive DSGE framework is described in detail. It means that everyone is able to specify or estimate arbitrary DSGE model according to this framework. Thesis contains two empirical studies. The first study describes derivation of the New Keynesian DSGE Model and its estimation using Bayesian techniques. This model is estimated with three different Taylor rules and the best performing Taylor rule is identified using the technique called Bayesian comparison. The second study deals with development of the Small Open Economy Model with housing sector. This model is based on previous study which specifies this model as a closed economy model. I extended this model by open economy features and government sector. Czech Republic is generally considered as a small open economy and these extensions make this model more applicable to this economy. Model contains two types of households. The first type of consumers is able to access the capital markets and they can smooth consumption across time by buying or selling financial assets. These households follow the permanent income hypothesis (PIH). The other type of household uses rule of thumb (ROT) consumption, spending all their income to consumption. Other agents in this economy are specified in standard way. Outcomes of this study are mainly focused on behavior of house prices. More precisely, it means that all main outputs as Bayesian impulse response functions, Bayesian prediction and shock decomposition are focused mainly on this variable. At the end of this study one macro-prudential experiment is performed. This experiment comes up with answer on the following question: is the higher/lower Loan to Value (LTV) ratio better for the Czech Republic? This experiment is very conclusive and shows that level of LTV does not affect GDP. On the other hand, house prices are very sensitive to this LTV ratio. The recommendation for the Czech National Bank could be summarized as follows. In order to keep house prices less volatile implement rather lower LTV ratio than higher. Read more

Adaptační proces v České spořitelně, a. s. / An adaptation process in Česká spořitelna, Ltd.Plecendová, Kamila January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the management of human resources in a selected company, with a special focus given to the development and management of the adaptation process of new employees. The main of the diploma thesis is to considerate the effectiveness of the adaptation process in the selected company. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a pratical part. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of the adaptation process and includes possible changes related to the process. The practical part introduces the selected company and its particular adaptation process. The process is further analyzed. Using a questionnaire survey, the emphasis is given to the opinions of new employees upon the adaptation process. As a conclusion, several improvement concepts of the adaptation process, based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey, are suggested.

Rozmach etatismu ve Velké Británii 20. století. / Prevalence of Etatism in the 20th-Century Great BritainErva, Martin January 2016 (has links)
The United Kingdom is imprinted in our historical memory as the birthplace of modern democracy, the rule of law and respect to private ownership. However, this memory reflects deep history of the 19th century rather than the present state of affairs. The English like other developed nations have acquired the policy of state interventions, nationalization of private enterprise for a compensation, fight against the economic cycle in an unprecedented consensus. Many of the contemporaries assess England through the prism of Margaret Thatcher, however, as demonstrated in this work, her right-winged policy proved an exception to the Conservative Party's rule. Historiography ascribes the reasons of the situation especially to the Labour Party. A number of history works limits the causality of the state growth to the onset of the Laborites. It is apparent, however, that the search for the reasons of the state of affairs needs to quest much deeper in history. Despite its name, the Liberal Party is an institution with a long tradition of state-positive thinking. It was the new Radical Liberals who arrived with a "ransom" theory as well as the program of urban socialism, which does not seem to be a symptom of the laissez faire era in the today's regulated world of private waterworks, gas and electric power... Analysis of factors influencing strategies and expectations of Czech new start-ups / Analýza faktorů ovlivňující strategie a očekávání českých začínajících firemŠála, Miroslav January 2011 (has links)
This thesis goal is to analyze the factors that are influencing the strategies and growth expectations of the Czech start-ups. The analysis is based on the data sample from the Czech GEM 2011 and unique study of the Czech start-ups performed in 2011 as well. Various statistical methods are used to determine which microeconomic factors affect (1) the strategy choice and (2) growth expectations. As for the factors influencing expected growth, the research is concluded by the creation of the regression equations explaining the expected growth in the revenues as well as expected growth in employees. The factors influencing strategy choice are: managers-owners experience, the environment, self-efficacy, gender, and innovativeness. The factors influencing expected growth in revenues are: innovativeness, self-efficacy, competitive strategy, managers-owners experience, social capital, export intention, and business planning. The factors influencing the expected growth in employment are: legal structure of company, export intention, self-efficacy, innovativeness, competitive strategy, business planning. Following variables create the regression equation explaining expected growth in revenues: financial planning, export intention, education, IPR use, and age of entrepreneur. The variables explaining expected growth in employees are: (1) export intention, product newness, and legal structure of the company, (2) product newness, differentiation inclination, and financial projections. Alongside, the Porter's generic strategies framework was proved to fit the data sample while it was showed that a portion of Czech entrepreneurs are "stuck in the middle". By these findings, this thesis provides unique empirical verification of the growth and strategy theory on the sample of the Czech entrepreneurs. Read more
