This thesis deals with road loads, coastdown tests and evaluation of measured data. Thesis consists of two main parts: theoretical and computational. The first part describes road loads with focus on aerodynamic drag and lift force. In the second part, a software tool for processing the measurement per ISO 10521-1 is designed and lift force measured with running resistance method is calculated.

Vliv výrobních nepřesností na vznik přídavných momentů na kormidle jachty / Manufacturing inaccuracies influence on an appearence of the additional moment on a sailboat rudderKazda, Adam January 2016 (has links)
This Master’s thesis is dedicated to a generation of an additional torque, which can occur due to the inaccuracy of the manufacturing. This issue is inspired by a real case from 2013. In this work CFD modeling is used to investigate three different sources of the additional torque: misalignment of the rudder, deviation of the propeller shaft and asymmetry of the rudder. A simplified 2D simulation is done for all three cases. This simulation is more suitable for a jet powered boat. Therefore the asymmetry of the rudder is investigated also in a 3D case, where the rotational component of the flow behind the propeller is included.

Nízkofrekvenční aktivní umělá zátěž / Low frequency active artificial loadLízner, Václav January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on synthetic loads, especially electronically controlled loads. The thesis analyse principles of mechanically and electronically controlled loads and theirs operation modes. The paper also carried out a search of AC loads available on the market. The parameters of the AC load were based on the requirements provided by client. The functionality of the designed load is verified by simulation. The thesis continues with realization of the designed schematics and bringing the load to function. At the last section of the thesis are detail parameters of the designed load verified by measurement.

Geofyzikální průzkum podzemních dutin na lokalitě Letonice / Geophysical survey of subsurface voids at locality LetoniceBartášková, Lucie January 2015 (has links)
The Větrníky national nature reserve, located in the South Moravian region north of the village of Letonice, is one of the largest steppe reserves in Southern Moravia. This whole area is characterized by the presence of both stable and active landslides, and the occurrence of suffosion sinkholes has been monitored there in the long-term. The aim of the thesis was to investigate whether it was possible to observe subsurface phenomena, caused by the washing out of fine rock particles by ground water, by means of geophysical methods. This phenomenon is known as suffosion. The measurements took place in the areas where the suffosion manifestation was very distinctive, that is around two sinkholes that were visible on the surface. In order to identify the suffosion structural-geological causes and their manifestations at a given location, the gravimetric and electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) methods were used in the first stage of the research. Measured data was further processed and geologically interpreted. The gravimetric method has proved suitable when identifying rocks affected by suffosion, in which case we assume that their density is lower than the density of the surrounding rocks. Using the ERT method, it was possible, in the vertical profile, to distinguish the sandy-gravelly sediments...

Provoz distribučních sítí s odporovými svářečkami / Operation of a distribution system with resistance weldersZelený, Miroslav January 2012 (has links)
This Diploma thesis deals with assessment of the influence of two fundamental types of resistance welders operation on chosen power quality parameters at the point of common coupling (PCC) of the power network. The assessed parameters of power quality are the total harmonic distortion of the supply voltage, asymmetry of the supply voltage and the level of short term flicker at the point of common coupling. The assessment is based on the comparison of the results of computer simulations done in PSCad 4.2.0 with the requirements of technical standards. The outcome of this thesis is the determination of allowable limits for physical and operation parameters for the general arrangement of a power distribution network and a resistance welder that should guarantee the power quality compliance.

Analýza průběhu podpovrchových struktur v reprezentativních řezech výzkumných povodí / Analysis of the subsurface struckutes location in representative transections of the research catchmentsDUBEC, Štěpán January 2014 (has links)
This theses is focused on the description of subsurface in the area of interest - Kopaninský and Jenínský stream catchment - and consequently thy most accurate interpretation depth of impermeable bedrock. Geophysical multicable metod (ERT - electrical resistivity tomography") was selected for field measurements. This method of geophysical survey provides the information on subsurface structures, verifies hypotheses and brings new information on the lithological and structural conditions below the surface. ERT measurements were performed automatically by geoelektrical ARES device in combination with inteligent electrodes. The data obtained by field measurements were plotter in the form of resistive sections (using ReS2DInv software) which were used for the later interpretation. The given results determine the depth and process of impermeable bedrock which are important for more accurate data inputs like for modeling rainfall-runoff processes especially in the field of calibration and validation of each adjustment of models as well as for the next other hydrogical analyzes and studies carried out in the research projects. The purpose of this work is to determine the depth of impermeable bedrock and could serve as a data input for MIKE SHE hydrological modeling.

Odporová pila / Resistance sawKalčík, Petr January 2009 (has links)
This work is focused on the design and construction of component parts of resistance saw. Mechanical parts consist of a movable bracket and a taut cutting wire of Constantan. Electrical parts are designed to supply and control temperature of the cutting wire. The current intensity in the cutting wire is compared with the required current intensity. The difference of these two measurements is fed into a PI - controller. The next part is a PWM generator which generates the square wave signal. The pulse ratio of this signal is proportional to the required temperature of the cutting wire. This signal switches a switching converter that consists of a power transistor P-MOSFET IRF5210 and a diode MBR20100CT. Choking coil with a ferrite E core and with the cutting wire is connected to the output of the converter.

Časosběrný monitoring aktivních svahových deformací pomocí elektrické odporové tomografie / Time-lapse monitoring of active slope deformations using electrical resistivity tomographyBelov, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with time-lapse electrical resistivity tomography (TL-ERT) of active slope deformations. Slope deformations represent one of the important land-forming processes. Frequently, they can cause considerable property damages and can endanger health and lives of inhabitants. Therefore, we can consider them as potentially dangerous so complete understanding of their dynamics, and their mechanisms of origin, is essential. Electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) then represents an effective geophysical tool for slope deformation investigation. Within diploma thesis, the evaluation of the several different time-series of the ERT measurements was performed. Based on findings of the one- year (August 1013 to July 2014) monitoring of resistivity changes by ERT, and also, based on daily and hourly recurrences of measured resistivity data, the optimum measuring interval has been determined, namely 12 hours. The most applicable electrode arrays and their combinations were suggested based on a testing of different electrode configurations. The results of detailed measurement with 1 m electrode spacing offered the idea of shortening of the total length of the present permanent TL-ERT profile as well as shortening the electrode spacing. These conclusions and proposed adjustments then resulted in...
