Thesis title: Curatorship The thesis deals with the legal institute of curatorship, as one of the forms of representation, which is intended to protect and fulfill the rights and interests of the person represented. The thesis is primarily focused on substantive legislation contained in an Act No. 89/2012 Coll., The Civil Code. Despite the fact that this thesis is focused on substantive legislation, it also discusses related procedural issues. This diploma thesis is divided into introduction, six chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter describes historical basis of curatorship and also a short glimpse to the previous legislation. The next chapter introduces fundamental terms and explains the systematic inclusion of legislation governing curatorship in an Act No. 89/2012 Coll. The core of this thesis is chapter three, which analyses the legislation of curatorship of an individual. This chapter also introduces related legal institutes such as limitation of legal capacity and declaration in anticipation of incapacity. Thesis title: Insolvency of a managed person and the consequences for the corporate group This thesis deals with the bankruptcy of controlled affiliate and its legal consequences for operating of the whole corporate group in the Czech legal system. Firstly, it states the theoretical basis for the legal regulation of corporate groups and their basic elements - corporations. In relation to the regulation of corporate groups it points out the conflict between entity approach and enterprise approach, both addressing the corporate group differently with respect to corporate personality. It further provides a brief explanation on the nature of bankruptcy and defines it as an occasion where the ownership of the corporation does in fact fundamentally change. Secondly, it introduces some legal instruments of the company law and the law of the corporate groups governing both, the liability of controlling entity for its conduct in the management of the controlled affiliate and the duties of persons with certain functions or influence over the corporation in the so called twilight zone of insolvency. It is argued that the object of such provisions is to prevent the bankruptcy and to provide a remedy to creditors and shareholders in case of abuse of the corporate group structure by the controlling entity. Resumé The topic of my thesis is the employment of people with disabilities. In the thesis I deal with legal status of persons with disabilities and the instruments for protection and support in the area of employment. The thesis is divided into the introduction, nine chapters divided further into sub-chapters and sections, the conclusion and the annexes. The first chapter defines the term person with disability under international law, specifically in documents of International Labour Organisation, World Health Organisation, United Nations Organisation, Council of Europe, and under Czech legal system. In the second chapter I deal with the provisions of working conditions of persons with disabilities under the above international organisations. Furthermore, this chapter presents the actual actions of Council of Europe in the area of the rights of persons with disabilities. My master's degree thesis focuses on special Czech social security benefit, which can be perhaps called "benefit for personal care". In the first chapter I explicate the topic and conceptions I will work with in the following text. The second chapter describes legislation which precedes the Act of social services containing the "benefit for personal care". This Act had come in force in 2006 and has come into effect since 1st January 2007. I compared construction of previous supports and " benefit for personal care" The third chapter explains in detail rules of law which regulate conditions of claim for benefit for personal care, administrative procedure, etc. The level of benefit relates to the degree in which needy person depends on help of other individual. The method used for establishing this degree is highlighted in the 4th chapter. The 4th chapter is subdivided into two major parts according to operations and procedures used to establish degree of applicant's dependence. I especially focused on aspects of establishing proper degree of dependence for visually impaired people. This thesis deals with a position of persons with disability (PWD) in the labor market from the perspective of these individuals. Based on the data obtained by questionnaire survey was conducted SWOT analysis which shows that PWD do not perceive negatively their own position on labor market. However, there is always something to improve, whether by themselves or in the surroundings in which they move. Furthermore, this thesis analyzes the impact of legislative measures to promote the employment of people with disabilities in 2000 - 2014. Based on the data obtained by the Czech Statistical Office was conducted regression analysis of three models. Estimates of econometric models support the hypothesis that higher unemployment in the case of persons without a disability employment is declining persons with disabilities. Further, it failed to confirm the hypothesis that the impact of legislative changes to promote employment for persons with disabilities has a positive effect on the employment of these persons. The last hypothesis that says that these legislative changes have no impact on the unemployment rate of persons without a disability was confirmed.

The paper is focused on the analysis of mandatory expenditures and mainly on disability pensins. There is also described pension system of the Czech republic. I specify the conditions for granting disability pensions and their amount and progress. I include the employment of disabled persons.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the development of unemployment in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, and to find their differences with the main emphasis on the period after accession to the EU and the following effect the by economic crisis. The theoretical part provides the basic aspects related to unemployment, together with the chapter on the current state of knowledge of Czech and Slovak unemployment. At the beginning of the practical part, the development of unemployment in 1993-2003 is outlined, and it is followed by the main part of the work focused on the period 2004-2013. The particular chapters are focused on the accession of the CR and SR to the EU, changes in the structure of the economic status of the population in the labor market, precautious effecting unemployment and especially unemployment development with regard to the economic development of the states. Apart from the overall unemployment rate the attention is focused on the issue of long-term unemployment, the involvement of women, older workers and young job seekers in the labor market. The final part provides a summary of the differences found in the development of unemployment in the CR and SR and their probable causes.

The thesis focuses on the transfer pricing questions in the Czech companies. The theoretical part concerns the legislative background, transfer pricing determination methodology and related necessary documentation. The practical part contains the performed questionnaire survey targeted at transfer pricing methods, binding consideration, documentation, and experience with the tax search. A specific manufacturing company is then used to illustrate the manner of transfer pricing determination.

The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the approaches of identification of individuals in the Czech Republic. The next part of the thesis are the characteristics of personal data protection in the Czech Republic, an overview of legislative changes in the identification of individuals and in particular the analysis of the Regulation No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Based on the characteristics of the legislation identification in the Czech Republic , the analysis of the above mentioned Regulation and compared with the identification systems that are in place in other European Union states and several other countries around the world , is created draft a universal identifier for the Czech Republic as a vision of the future with specific recommended elements and their reasoning . The main contribution of this work is the analysis of legislation in the Czech Republic and its changes following the adoption of new EU legislation, as well as the inclusion of the new legislation in a model for the identification of individuals in the Czech Republic.

The aim of this thesis is to compare various options, how can companies meet the mandatory proportion of employment of handicapped people and also analyze tax impacts on companies considering the particular option they have chosen. The thesis is divided into five chapters, first of them is about free labor market and describes various options, how can companies meet the mandatory proportion of employment of handicapped people. Then the second chapter contains information about employers of handicapped people in protected labor market. The next chapter refers to so called protected working place, which is directly related to the possibility to receive purposeful contribution from the state. The last chapter of the theoretic part of the thesis is about tax relief for companies that employ handicapped people. Subject of the practical part of the thesis is to analyze accounting and tax data of real company and try to modify them based on hypothetical situation what will be changed in case of employment of handicapped person in this company. There are mainly tax impacts on the company analyzed.
