Způsoby řešení vybraných oblastí spolupracujících organizací a jejich aplikace v klastru Omnipack / Ways to address selected areas of cooperative organization and its application in Cluster Omnipack

Lukavec, Petr January 2009 (has links)
This work is based on knowledge of concept of clusters and of other cooperative organizations. The general objective of this work is to solve specific, narrowly defined problems of a particular cluster. The reason was to come up with a solution that will be applicable and useful in this particular cluster. And this solution may be useful also in other clusters, because clusters throughout Europe, have many common features. Problems were generated by the author, during talks with representatives of cluster Omnipack. So these problems are important and really relevant for this cluster. Next goal was to measure these issues in relation to basic criteria, like importance, and difficulty. This evaluation was the basis for selecting problems to solve. Other objective was to search for specific solutions using existing literature, examples from other clusters and output of own research of clusters. As main problem to solve was chosen problem called "performance measurement". Because no suitable solution was found in the literature or other resources, author had to create own solution. Problematic area of the problem "performance assessment" was described as follows: "Support from European Union subsidies is really crucial for many clusters in Czech Republic right now. But after the end of these subsidies, clusters will have to prove or demonstrate to its members that they are still useful. Then cluster members will be then willing to continue with financial supporting of their cluster." The problem was solved from the perspective of cluster members, and main areas of its concept are performance evaluation of cluster members from the perspective of a cluster member, benefits of the cluster as a whole for members of the cluster, the benefits of other members of the cluster for a particular member of the cluster and cluster management role for the use of these advantages from the perspective of cluster members. Solution of this problem is very detailed and extensive, and represents main author's scientific contribution. Important point of this approach is evaluating the performance of the cluster from the perspective of cluster members. This approach brings some new insights. Author proposed his own concept of looking at the actors and factors, influencing the performance of cluster members. Proposed concept of pairwise comparison of cluster members is also really innovative. It brings new opportunities in the detailed description and understanding the cluster by its members and management.

Vybrané strategie burzovních obchodů / Stock market strategies

Nováček, Jakub January 2011 (has links)
This thesis presents two different types of stock trading for a small investor. First described method focuses on stocks from abroad, where with the help of technical analysis a portfolio is constructed. This portfolio is to be traded with the strategy of pair trading or sometimes also called statistical arbitrage. This method is not very well known, so the thesis gives enough space to explain how the system exactly works. Second strategy puts focus on stocks from Prague Stock Exchange and their trading as dividend stocks. Unlike the first strategy, this one presents the fundamental analysis and longterm investment. The emphasis is in both strategies put on easily managable portfolio and its good revenue.

Digitální certifikáty / Digital certificates

Svačina, Ondřej January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is focused on the topic of digital certificates for secure communication. First of all, methods of authentication and cryptography are analyzed as a starting point. Furthermore, the thesis describes communication protocols for secure connection HTTPS and SSL/TLS, the importance of certification authorities and their characteristics. It devotes the biggest part of attention to digital certificates as such. Practical part introduces available certification authorities, including practical creation of the new certification authority and certificate. This untrusted certificate has become the key element of the questionnaire survey, which aim is to analyze knowledge level of users about secure connection through trusted certificates. After the analysis, interpretation of obtained data and verification of selected hypothesis, recommendations for domain owners, who are planning to use HTTPS, were proposed.

Algorithmic Trading of Pairs / Algoritmické obchodování párů

Razumňak, Michal January 2017 (has links)
Pair trading is a well-known strategy based on statistical arbitrage. This strategy uses a short-term deviation from the mean value of the price ratio of two highly correlated stocks from the same sector as the opportunity to open a position. When ratio returns to its mean value again, the position closes. This strategy has been used for many years and the main outcome of this thesis was to test whether this strategy can be profitable even in current market conditions. For that purpose, data ranging from 2010 to April 2017 on all stocks included in the S&P 500 index were used. It was subsequently found that a pair trading strategy generated 25x higher absolute profit in comparison to random agent. Thus, it can still be considered as a profitable strategy.

Komparace párové výuky v kontextu vyučovacího procesu ve vztahu k PedF UK a 1. stupně ZŠ. / Comparison of pair teaching in the context of the teaching process in relation to PedF UK and 1st grade of elementary school.

Haškovcová, Martina January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of pair teaching between teachers. The main goal is to map the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching. It focuses on the broader specifics of pair teaching, which it then compares in the environment of primary and university. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the introductory chapters of the first part, the issue is viewed from a theoretical point of view, i.e. they describe the model of pair teaching. The theoretical part further defines its basic key principles, especially under what conditions it works and what benefits for pupils, students and teachers brings. It focuses on the prerequisites for proper functioning, cooperative teaching and deals with possible models of cooperation between two teachers. The work also mentions the influence of pair teaching on the quality of professional development of future teachers. The practical part is designed as a qualitative research. This survey is conducted using a structured interview with primary and university teachers who teach in tandem. The obtained necessary data are analyzed by the method of so-called open coding, which will help us answer research questions leading to the achievement of the main goal of this work. The practical part therefore maps the possibilities and...

Orgasticita žen pod vlivem sexuální a partnerské zkušenosti / Female orgasm and its relation to autoerotic and dyadic sexual behavior

Krejčová, Lucie January 2019 (has links)
The thesis focuses on female orgasm and its relation to autoerotic activities and dyadic sexual behavior. The first theoretical part focuses on theories describing the function of female orgasms and factors influencing its occurrence. The second part consists of four articles published in peer-reviewed journals. The first article is a review, focusing on the development of expert opinions over time, with specific regard to female orgasms and the division between clitoral and vaginal orgasm. The second article discusses the role of general relationship and sexual satisfaction with respect to the female orgasm. The third article examined the association between first autoerotic experiences and the occurrence of vaginal orgasm. Finally, the fourth article concerned the frequency of dyadic sexual activity and its relation to vaginal orgasm. The findings within each article indicate that autoerotic and dyadic sexual activities together with general relationship and sexual satisfaction have a positive influence on the occurrence of female orgasms.

Porovnání časově závislých metod pro převod barevného obrazu na šedotónový / Comparison of Time-Dependent Color-to-Gray Conversions

Vlkovič, Vladimír January 2018 (has links)
This masters thesis is focused around the comparison of time dependent video grayscale conversion methods based on a user experiment. The test methodology is based on the pairwise comparison method 2AFC. It is composed of two test variants: a test with a reference video and a test without a reference video. The coefficients of agreement, consistency and correlation are utilized in the result analysis. The testing was done on 60 subjects which have done 7200 pairwise comparisons. The test results show that the time dependent method Hu14 is the most universal. Time dependent method Kim09 was bested by some non-dependent methods. The results also indicate that there is some correlation between the two test variants and that the choice of the input video can have impact on the method performance. The main contribution of this thesis is that non-dependent methods can under certain circumstances rival the performance of dependent methods and that the addition of a reference video did not have a meaningful impact on the test subjects judgements.

Metody vícenásobného zarovnávání nukleotidových sekvencí / Methods for multialignment of nucleotide sequences

Trněný, Ondřej January 2013 (has links)
To be able to understand characteristics and purpose of biological sequences correctly, it is crucial to have a possibility to sort and compare them. Because of this need and to extend existing knowledge pool, numerous methods were proposed. Especially in field of multiple sequences alignment. Methods for multiple sequences alignment may provide various valuable information about sequences which failed to show enough similarity in pairwise alignment. According to this, several algorithms were implemented in various computer applications which provide a way to analyse huge sets of data. One of those, the progressive alignment algorithm, is implemented as a part of this thesis

Využití metody párového srovnání ve volebním výzkumu / Application of Paired comparison method in election research

Lišková, Kristýna January 2018 (has links)
Author of these thesis researches the ability Paired comparison method to predict the results in the presidential elections during January 2018 ( the first and the second round). The pair comparison method is based on the assessment of individual candidates in combinations (pairs) where two candidates stand against each other and there is a judge who compares them in all combinations. The author carried out an investigation using three standardized questionnaires. She has applied the method in the first questionnaire and surveyed the actual choice of the respondents in the other two questionnaires. There were 392 respondents who participated in the complete questionnaire surfy and their answers were analyzed and compared with their results of Paired comparison method. The thesis also shows the accuracy of the method and the suitability of the application, as well as the ability to predict the results of undecided voters. The Paired comparison method in prediction of the results of the first round, but was able to estimate the results of the second round. The author concludes that Paired comparison method should be used in several round types of elections or those where two candidates stand against each other. There are also examined the disadvantages and risks of the method.
