Title: Marketing mix of Czech Taekwon-Do ITF Federation Objectives: Main objective of this diploma thesis was an analysis of marketing mix of the Czech Taekwon-Do ITF federation and making of suggestions for its improvement. Partial goals were aimed at analysis and description of the organization and of the environment in which this organization exists. Methods: Qualitative marketing research method has been selected to meet purpose of this thesis. Methods of case study and in-depth interview have been used also together with SWOT analysis. Results: Outcome of this thesis consists of a draft with suggestions for optimization of marketing mix. Foremost these improvements have been suggested: changes in promotion, utilization of sponsors and also update of some product items and prices. Key words: Marketing mix, Taekwon-Do, case study

Veřejné zakázky na Ukrajině / Public Procurement in Ukraine

This thesis is concerned with public procurement system in Ukraine. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the system with a focus on the risks, which are facing foreign applicants in public procurement. The paper presents the various elements of the procurement system: Creating and implementation of public procurement policy, regulation of public procurement; authorization and approval of procurement; realization of public procurement; feedback. In the thesis, a case study with the company Kvazar Plus has been realized. This company has great experience with the Ukrainian procurement. The results of the case study have been compared with the analysis of the World Bank. Case study confirmed some of the problems of the procurement system: Poor communication of the Ministry of Economy as the responsible body, hasty selection procedures due to the late receipt of funds into the budget, frequent delays of payments to candidates, lenghty provision of necessary documents, bank guarantee, previously often needed, strong competitive manufacturers with lower quality but cheaper goods and often disadvantageous contract terms for applicants. Other challenges for the candidate are: frequent change of legislation, public procurement duty of state enterprises, lobbying of the Ukrainian competition, pre-selected winner of some contracts and corrupt customs administration, which complicates and delays the delivery of goods to Ukraine.

This Master thesis deals with socioeconomic and environmental aspects of life generally in the country, and with the regional context Strakonicka. In the important empiric part, I focus on to the appreciation changes of life in the small town Katovice, mainly in the period of the First Republic and nowadays. I used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to compare these. Specifically I used techniques of photo documentation, interviews with local witness and vice chief magistrate, analysis of statistical data and finally a small questionnaire too.

Corporate social responsibility in banking industry

The topic of diploma thesis refers to a modern concept of corporate social responsibility in a specific industry, which is banking. Undertaken activities within this industry affect the wellbeing of all related stakeholders, and thus, the thesis analyses the current situation related to corporate social responsibility in banking companies from two European countries. It was found out that corporate social responsibility in these companies is on high level and it can be characterized by high engagement, active approach and up to date trends. Furthermore, the thesis deals with corporate social responsibility reporting in the studied companies. Progress in reporting quality and content was observed throughout the reporting years. Based on the analysis of corporate social responsibility reports, the thesis developed reporting model for companies active in the banking field. Thesis finishes with general recommendations regarding corporate social responsibility in the banking industry and concrete recommendations proposed for selected company.

This thesis deals with the issue of online communication and its importance in B2B markets of industrial oriented companies based in the South Moravian region. Using secondary data in the form of a desk research and primary data from qualitative interviews with representatives of the addressed companies, areas for improving online communication were identified. The recommendations are related to key word analysis, PPC adverts, implementation of chatbot and content marketing. These recommendations are applicable to all B2B industrial companies.

It monitors the process of origination and progress of substance addiction. It illustrates possibilities of treatment in individual phases of the addiction process. It introduces a concrete treatment program targeted on adolescent drug abusers. Practical part describes five individual cases of adolescent drug abusers, examines causes of substance abuse in each of them and characterizes individual treatment approach based on them.

In the first part, the theoretical background related to corporate turnaround is outlined complemented with specific aspects of the CEE region and the Czech Republic. In the next part, a comprehensive turnaround framework based on theoretical research is developed. The final part presents a case study of a small Czech company that went through a turnaround and evaluates the company's turnaround actions from the perspective of suggested theoretical framework.

This diploma thesis examines political risks and long-term investments and specifically focuses on a case study of the Odessa Port Plant. The aim of the thesis is to assess the investment opportunity into this enterprise in terms of political risks within the privatization process planned to take place in 2016. The literature review presents different theoretical approaches to political risk, briefly describes its history and place in theoretical foundations of risk management and offers means of dealing with political risk in practice. The key global trends and sources of political risks are characterized in this part, which also introduces theoretical bases of political risk analysis. The main part of the thesis describes the subject of privatization in the context of its importance to the state, its market position and environmental issues it arises. Then the investor risk profile is outlined and the political risk analysis is carried out. Finally, analysis results are synthesized in a summary, which includes conclusive recommendations on the investment considering investor's risk approach.
