The thesis is dispensed into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is firstly concerning the implementation of the topic into Czech national educational curriculum secondly demographic and mainly historical characteristic of the region. This thesis describes magnesium alloys, their properties and methods of their production. However, experimental part is focused on AZ91 magnesium alloy. Conversion coatings were prepared on the AZ91 surface – chromate coating, phosphate permanganate coating and fluoride coating. Corrosion resistance of the prepared coatings were compared by immersion tests and by potentiodynamic methods. Evaluation of corrosion resistance by immersion tests was successful only for phosphate permanganate coating. Only this coating was removed during cleaning of the samples. For comparison of corrosion resistance was important to find the correct procedures and optimize the measurements methods. For these purposes have been chosen galvanic zinc coating on steel sheets. Thickness of the zinc coating were 8 and 30 microns. This coatings provide uniform zinc surface without heterogenities which was important for the potentiodynamic measurements. After optimization methods for potentiodynamic measurements by galvanic zinc coatings have been measured magnesium alloy AZ91 uncoated and coated by conversion coatings. For uncoated AZ91 magnesium alloy was determined suitable method so called virgin cathodic curve. On the other hand, for the coated AZ91 magnesium alloys was determined suitable method so called combined curve, within which we measured cyclic voltammetry curve (± 5 mV) and then virgin anodic curve.

This diploma thesis examines school documents in the former Karlín district, from the second half of the 19th century to the year 1927 for example: general schools in Brandýs nad Labem, Stará Boleslav, Klecany, Odolena Voda, Panenské Břežany and Veliká Ves. This thesis is divided in two parts, the first part focuses on the history of education from Marie Terezie's school reforms to the first Czechoslovak Republic along with school administration in the same period, mainly it focuses on the lower grades of school education systems. Then I describe the former Karlín district, especially individual towns and villages, whose documents I describe later and I write about short history of their schools. In the main part of this thesis I compare selected school documents - namely class statements, class registers, class statements of school leavers, main registers, conferences protocols and school chronicles of individual schools and I examinate their development. This Comparison of legislative and executive branches in the U.S. unincorporated territories thesis deals with political systems in unincorporated American territories - Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa. Today these territories stand as an integral part of the USA, but they do not hold federal state status. This study focuses on political systems of the individual territories, specifically on their legislative and executive bodies. It also explores relationships these territories have with the continental U.S., their status within American political system and it outlines genesis of autonomous government institutions of these territories. Concurrently, this thesis also elaborates on problem areas stemming from for example dual citizenship and citizens of these territories not being able to participate in presidential elections. This work comprises of five case studies that focus on political institutions of the individual territories. The main contribution of this study lies in the comparison work. In comparative analysis of the executive bodies and analysis of the extent of governors' authority within individual territories, and in the comparison with federal states.
