Tato diplomová práce hodnotí ekonomický vývoj Argentiny, Brazílie, Chile a Mexika od počátku jejich vzniku do současnosti a vsazuje tuto analýzu do kontextu celého regionu. Zdůrazněny jsou integrační tendence mezi vybranými zeměmi v rámci latinskoamerického regionu. Je provedena analýza hospodářského růstu a konkurenceschopnosti, zhodnocena vnitřní a vnější rovnováha. Na konci se práce zaměřuje na stav populace a trhu práce. Na základě rozboru základních ekonomických ukazatelů je vyvozen předpokládaný budoucí vývoj celého regionu.

The diploma thesis offers to the reader a detailed comparison of two life insurance products -- Česká spořitelna insurance's FLEXI and Koopetiva's PERSPEKTIVA 7BN. The comparison is made from the point of view of finances, of the covered risks and the extent of the cover, of the differences in the insurance conditions, of the insurance payments and their amount upon the formation of the insured event and of the overall approach of the insurance companies to the insured client. The diploma thesis presents to the reader the evaluation of the pros and cons of the life insurance products, as well as recommendation in the product choice.

The diploma thesis aims to assess the World largest UN peace keeping mission achievement and limitations since its deployment in DR Congo 1999 to data and the study suggests solution for the lasting peace in Eastern Congo. The second war broke out in the Democratic Republic of Congo 1998. Theoretically the war ended in July 2003 following the signing of peace accord. The UN troops were deployed to monitor the cease fire, implementation of the agreement and to stabilize the country. However, conflicts still continue in various parts of the country and in particular in the Eastern provinces of North Kivu and South Kivu. The secondary data method was used to collect data from UN agencies, International organizations and international media. The introduction of the study gives the background of the study, the literatures explain among other things the peace keeping history, UN charter, conflict theory and list of armed forces operating in Eastern Congo. The result give a list of the Mission achievements and the discussion focus on the Mission limitations. After the study conclusion, some recommendations are formulated including for the lasting peace in the eastern DR Congo; security reform; economic development promotion for job creation and finally the study recommends the setting up of the criminal court to bring to book all perpetrators of crime committed during conflict

This Diploma thesis thematizes the problem of students' time perspective and its diagnostics. The whole text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical with emphasis on the theoretical part. The theoretical part will look upon the conceptions of time perspective. Ideas of time perception, the influence of time on human behavior and a connection of time pespective with an achievement motivation are presented. The personality-motivational concept of time perspective by European expert of motivational psychology Jopeph Nuttin are analyzed. From the domestic authors I describe the concept of perpsective orientation by Isabella Pavelkova. These theories are completed with information gained by Rayner, Gjesme and Fraisse. The important section is a chapter where diagnostics and specifics methods are presented. The empirical section contains the results of research provided by 5 classes of high school students with an eight year (or four year) study plan in April 2012 in Caslav. Using two questionaries (Motivational Induction Method and Perspective Orientation Questionary). Motivational Induction Method investigates objects of students' time perspective and summarized these themes into exact time frames. The thesis analyses the child's perspective in the literary works of the holocaust literature - the novel The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski, the short story Děti (Children) by Arnošt Lustig and the piece Noc (Night) by Elie Wiesel. We assume that the child's perspective is significant and totally different from the perspective of the adult narrator. The goal of the thesis is to define the characteristic elements in the narrative. First and foremost we seek to analyze the elements in the language, style and motifs of the texts. We also want to define what kinds of literary works are suitable to be denominated as literature written through the child's eyes. We divide the works into several groups according to the fact if the book is a fiction or a memoir. The main differences in using the child's perspective are between these two groups of literary works. In the thesis we first describe the holocaust as a historical event and then we go on with the description of the holocaust literature. In the other parts of the thesis we analyze the literary works mentioned above.

This thesis deals with application of the customer perspective from Balanced Scorecard and customer relationship management in the selected company Socialbakers a.s. First, this thesis studies theoretical basis of the chosen issue. The second part deals with practical use of customer perspective metrics. The current state of measurement and management in this area in Socialbakers a.s. is described and evaluated. Then knowledge gained from relevant literature is used to suggest improvements for this area.

Diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the Balanced Scorecard for a selected company. The theoretical part of this thesis includes research of available literature, which is focused on company performance measurement in general, financial statements, financial analysis, strategic analysis and the BSC method. In the practical part, after financial and strategic analysis, proposal of the four BSC perspectives (financial, customer, internal process, learning and growth) is presented, based on the strategy of the company.

This Master´s thesis deals with the issue of company performance measurement. Theoretical knowledge regarding the method which focuses above all on quality which is Six Sigma is covered in here. The second method of research, which focuses on management arising form strategy and vision of a company, is Balanced Scorecard. The method, which is the most suitable for the company Zálesí a.s. is elaborated on in the practical part. At the end of the thesis, there is a suggestion of a model in compliance with which the company can proceed in the everyday operation.

The Master´s thesis is focused on evaluation of performance in the company by using Balanced Scorecard. Theoretical part describes the method of Balanced Scorecard and other analyses needed to measure performance. The next part evaluates current situation of Matezex spol. s r.o. by using selected analytical methods and in conclusion is a proposal for implementing the Balanced Scorecard in the company. Within this part there are strategic goals of individual perspectives, strategic map, schedule of implementation and there are assessed risks that could accompany implementation of this concept.

The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the performance of the selected company and subsequent implementation of the Balanced Scorecard model. The theoretical part explains the concept of performance and performance access to its evaluation. There is also the description of selected strategic analysis in this part. It is explained the essence of Balanced Scorecard and gradual steps in its implementation of corporate management in detail. The practical part describes the current situation in the company and on the basis of the results of each analysis it is proposing a project to implement the Balanced Scorecard. The final part of the thesis includes Balanced Scorecard implementation into the company to increase its efficiency and further development.
