The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the air-conditioning and ventilation system in special circumstances of clean operations of a microbiological laboratory in connection with technological equipment and operational procedures of such environment. The chapter Equipment and Operational Conditions in Microbiological Laboratory states the requirements of clean room and its principal equipment. As an example, a specific microbiological laboratory is provided. The chapter Air-conditioning and Ventilation Systems for Clean Operations provides a description of principal elements of a ventilation system based on specific solution of microbiological laboratory. The chapter Calculation of Ventilation Elements provides calculations of elements of air-conditioning unit with regards to standing microbiological laboratory equipment. The chapter Measuring the Parameters of Clean Room deals with measurement methodology and also provides measurement data of a specific clean room. The chapter Operational Costs of Ventilation System of a Clean Room states the yearly operational costs of a specific microbiological laboratory. The chapter Operational Procedures for Safeguarding the Required Parameters deals with operations and maintenance of clean room and its ventilation and air-conditioning system.

The thesis deals with the evaluation of thermal properties of buildings and their possible improvement. The work includes a summary of the different types of materials used in construction and insulation to minimize heat losses through transmission. Work involves the calculation of heat loss of the house, alternative solutions to improve its thermal properties and compared concept solutions with modern construction. At the end of the work.is peformed comparison of the existing building with the proposed alternatives for improvement.

Nikola Šubrtová - Legal regulation of veterinary care Abstract My thesis is meant to be a humble attempt to describe rules or law governing animal care and animal protection in Czech Republic and in European Union as well. I tried to look closer at the concept on animal welfare as it reflects in czech legal order. This paper consists of nine chapters and the main laws analyzed in it are Act No. 166/1999 Coll., on veterinary care and Act No 246/1992 Coll., on the protection of animals against cruelty. My special focus was on animal protection during scientific procedures on animals and related regulations.

Final thesis is focused on the funding of non-governmental non-profit organizations. It consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains two chapters. The first chapter will introduce us to the subject of non-profit organizations, their characteristics and differences in comparison to the profit-making sector. The second chapter contains information concerning the funding of such organizations, specifically the different options that can be used by organizations as a means of fundraising. In the practical part of the thesis I will demonstrate the issue of non-governmental non-profit organizations by analysis of the sources of funding for a specific organization. In this case this will be the Pohoda civic association. The thesis will also establish whether all available options of funding have been used.

The diploma thesis deals with the very topical theme of well-being. Its aims are (1) to explore the personality context of the three most commonly used concepts of well-being - subjective, psychological well-being and self-esteem, (2) to confirm the connection of well-being with personality traits and to contribute to clarifying other personality contexts that the research sounds ambiguous - with values, identity styles, and coping strategies, and (3) find different patterns of relationships of individual concepts of well-being with measured variables, thus confirming the uniqueness of these constructs. The methods used include the calculation of correlation coefficients between individual concepts of well-being and all other variables and the calculation of differences by correlating other variables with all three pairs of well-being concepts. The results largely confirmed expectations. The weakest relationships with personality variables were found in subjective well-being, operationalized as life satisfaction. Life satisfaction was most predicted by stability, commitment, and extraversion. Psychological well-being was most predicted by commitment, stability, extraversion, conscientiousness, and a negative diffusion style of identity. The aim of this thesis is to compare subjective life satisfaction of children at 5th and 9th grades of primary schools in Hradec Králové. The thesis focuses mainly on the way of spending their leisure time, satisfaction with the social contacts and family background, interacting in school, psychosomatic problems and addictive risks. The work compares the responses of individual years and gender of respondents. The thesis finds no significcant diferences between 5th and 9th grade. The thesis deals with gender differences in sources of well-being, focusing on two currently the most significant concepts, subjective well-being (SWB) and psychological well- being (PWB). Attention is paid to the personality correlates of both concepts - personality traits, identity-styles, self-esteem, personal values and coping strategies. In the empirical part we explored the relationships of the studied phenomena on university student sample. The correlations of SWB and personality sources have been found to be weaker than those of the PWB concept, yet both concepts show similar trends in measurements. As expected, women have achieved a higher level of well-being in both concepts. However, the results of examining gender differences have shown, in several cases, a more significant relationship between personal sources of PWB among men. In this case, significantly stronger positive correlation between PWB and extraversion, self-esteem, active coping has been confirmed, likewise significantly stronger negative correlation between PWB and conformity and higher order value, conservation. The results are discussed considering their limits and implications for further research.

This diploma thesis is aimed at a creation of offers in a company. The proposal of an offer system in the Pohoda information system which the company uses is described in this thesis. An analysis of offers created in 2013 according to the specified indicators is another part of this work. The work contains a theoretical part focusing on an area of offers, business meetings, ERP systems and Competitive and Business intelligence. In the next part of the work the company which the proposal is made for as well as the Pohoda information system, where the specific functions and parts of the system are described, are presented. The system of offers creation which is used in the company now and also its current shortcomings are introduced in this thesis. Next a proposal for improving of the current system and an implementation proposal to the Pohoda information system is created. In the last part of the work the analysis of offers from 2013 is made. An estimate of the benefits of the proposed system for individuals and for a company and a summary of the processed analysis are both contained in the conclusion of this work. The thesis contains annexes an example of a current offer and data which were used for the analysis of the offers from 2013.

This master's thesis deals with analysis and selection of a new information system for a small company Výtahy – Elektro Žižka, s.r.o., which is engaged in manufacturing, reconstructing, and with revision of elevators. The main goal of the thesis is to analyse current condition of company’s hardware and software equipment and eventually suggest some possible improvements. Furthermore the thesis deals with main business processes according to which the information system will be chosen. Based on these changes, the time and financial plan will be formed.
