Since numerous legislative changes in sickness insurance in the Czech and Slovak republics are currently occurring, it is worth to analyze their impact on society. Because of the interconnected evolution of sickness and health insurance, it is essential to look at these changes from a broader perspective. Also health insurance regulation constitutes one of the most debated over legal areas due to its enormous implications on the lives of every single one of us. Certain aspects of health insurance reform in the Slovak republic did not go exactly according to the plan and its results are therefore increasingly met with outrage. The aim of the work is to analyze the most interesting aspects of sickness and health insurance reforms in the Czech and Slovak republics and further identify its positives and weaknesses. Furthermore two alternative concepts of sickness and health insurance regulation are described. This diploma thesis deals with creating a database of intentional damages of motor vehicles by selected tools and their documentation. Used tools can by often found in any household or workshop. First part describes how insurance and settlement of claim works. Next part deals with insurance frauds and in the third part damages are sorted into categories. Following part describes damages that incurred in actual traffic accidents and closures whether their were insurance frauds or not, and the susequent part is the creating of intentional damages and their processing into a database. In the end i tis described how such a database is an asset for forensic engineering.

The dissertation presented concerns the development trends in social security provision in the territory of the present-day independent states of the Czech and Slovak Republics, which, with only a short interruption in difficult Nazi occupation in World War II, made up the common state administration unit of Czechoslovakia, from 1918 to 1993. The dissertation continues tracing the evolution trends in the welfare system in each republic upon the dissolution of the federal state, and, finally, it focuses on the comparison of pension reforms implemented in both countries. Firstly, the developments in the legal regulations concerning social security schemes in the period preceding the First Czechoslovak Republic are studied. Both states were integral parts of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, where a social reform was implemented in 1888 in its Austrian part, known also as Taaffe's Reform. It introduced mandatory public social insurance in three separate acts. The reform was inspired by Otto von Bismarck, Chancellor of the German Reich. ObamaCare 2010: Political Aspects of U.S. Health-care Reform Katarína Dujčíková Abstract The enactment of the comprehensive health-care reform in March 2010 is one of major political achievements of the administration of the 44th president of the United States of America, a Democrat Barack Obama and the 111th Congress with the majority of Democrats in both chambers. Democratic politicians reacted to the need to answer three major problems of American health care system; rising cost, average quality and limited access to standard health care services for million Americans. The historical passage of health-care reform enacted despite unified opposition by Republicans was possible due to the rare combination of favorable conditions, or so-called window of opportunity and legislative tactic, which had to be adopted in order to diffuse opposition and secure enough votes from undecided congressmen. This thesis is focused on the transformation of hospitals into joint stock companies from 2010 to the end of 2011. It is primarily aimed at actors, their actions, positions, attitudes and interests in this process. Furthermore, it is concerned with the question of the public vs. private interests in terms of health protection, ensuring the availability and quality of healthcare. The transformation process of hospitals and the position of actors is explained by the combination of economic and public policy theory - neoliberalism, economic globalization, New Public Management and Advocacy Coalition Framework. We explain actions, attitudes and interests of actors in the transformation process of hospitals by using research methods such as an analysis of selected events in health care and research of actors' actions. These research methods are based on different methods of data collecting such as semi-structured and informal interviews, a questionnaire survey and the study of secondary sources.
