Skalická, Kateřina January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the critical reception of Neruda's and Hálek's poetry. The first chapter summarizes the existing knowledge of these authors' creations. At first we focused on the typical traits of their generation, and then on the genesis of their writing. Then using specialized literature, we briefly try to interpret their poetry. At the end of this chapter we show how the critical attitudes towards both poets changed over time. The second chapter also serves as a reference frame for the study of contemporary critical reception Neruda's and Hálek's poetry, because it describes the development of Czech literary criticism in the 19th century, especially in its second half, and its leading personalities who influenced the reception of poetic works of these poets. The next part of the thesis analyzes period reviews of Hálek's poetry in detail. Firstly we briefly describe the main features of Hálek's poetry in general, then we expound the characteristics of his collections of poems. Subsequently for each collection of poems, we provide a description of the critiques published. We further analyze these descriptions to obtain a more complete picture of the reception of Hálek's poetry. This method was used for Neruda as well. The penultimate chapter is devoted to Hálek and Neruda in the...

Turzová, Lenka January 2013 (has links)
New forms of housing at the beginning of the 21st century Various forms of housing evolve gradually depending on the technical development, life style and different cultural environments. The goal of this is to observe the evolution of residential housing from 1960's to the present. The key point of this dissertation is to find new forms of living at the beginning of the 21st century and its use in lower level buildings. When we consider "new forms of housing" we mainly speak about buildings with contemporary architectonical style, uncommon interior dispositions or the use of innovative constructional material (copper, corten and copilit). Next chapter explores typical and specific examples of these new architectonical styles that had been build in the Czech republic in the past few years. Each individual house or building is characterized and deeply analyzed. We can think of the terrace house - residential villa in "Kosire", villa style residence at "Hanspaulka" or isolated residential house in "Bohumilec". This dissertation is based on projects that had either been constructed, are being built right now or are simply ideas that might or might not be build in the near future. At the end of this dissertation I focus on issues with these new forms of living compared to the evolution of architecture...

Given the specificity of the whole work is an introduction and conclusion concerns the question of literary texts as a study of sources. The aim is to answer the question whether the use of belles-lettres as a source in this particular topic is possible, and if so, under what conditions.

Filipcová, Marie January 2015 (has links)
The thesis mainly deals with the specifics of Czech art at the time of communist totality. The main objective was to focus on the artists who due to circumstances found themselves at the edge of a cultural society. They were reconciled with this situation as they refused to betray the beliefs and denominations they confessed. The fundamental common point of their artistic freedom is the choice of themes. In this case it is the biblical theme that was first associated in the fifties with coping with existentialist feelings. And later on with finding artistic expression, which would contain spiritual overlap. In the first part we follow up iconographic parallels. In the second part we deal with individual authors and contexts that determined their artistic creation. In the group of authors are those who are engaged systematically in themes. Among others A. Divis, B. Reynek, I. Sobotka, V. Novakova, M. Medek, J. Koblasa and R. Piesen. In conclusion there is a treatise on contemporary philosophical trends that are connected with creation of our authors.
