Title: Evaluation of selected aids used in tennis training for children of early school age Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to assess the efficiency of gathered tennis aids used in tennis training for children of early school age (6-11 years). Methods: The selected methods for achieving the established goals are research of available literature and sources and their consequent analysis and synthesis. Results: A well-arranged description, classification and efficiency evaluation of tennis aids were created in this thesis based on the examination of available sources related to tennis A process of putting aids into the training plan according to the relevant principles was introduced. The result of this work is a classification of the selected tennis aids to aids for beginners, intermediate and advanced users based on their usage. The main criteria for putting the aids into training are age and sport level. It mostly depends on the experience of the trainer to put the aids in the training unit according to the sport training rules appropriately. Methods created based on the research of available literature are justified and analyzed in detail in the analytic- descriptive part of this work and its conclusion. Veronika Köhlerová DEPARTMENT: Department of Chemistry and Chemistry Education SUPERVISOR: Prof. RNDr. Pavel Beneš, CSc. ABSTRACT: The thesis stems from the basic need to support and develop natural science education. Based on didactic, technical-economic and ergonomic requirements, a teaching tools kit has been created, which facilitates 100 natural science experiments. The kit includes a methodological manual; further methodological support is also provided on the webpage of the kit's manufacturer. To complement the kit, a concept of an optional teacher training course Natural Science Experiments for Preschools and Primary Schools has been created. The course will take place at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in the school year 2013/2014. During the course of the thesis, didactic research methods were used to choose, process, test, organize, and optimise educational experiments. The pedagogical methods used included questionnaires and expert testimonials. The thesis provides a substantial response to the current educational needs in the field of natural science pre-literacy already at preschools and natural science literacy at primary schools. The focus is on the creation of the undemanding experiments and their downstream work sheets for teaching physics on the second stage. The aids used in experiments are integrated in the set - the case. The work is based on the experience from practical activities - integration of specific experiments in two selected subjects in teaching physics.

Využívání materiálních didaktických prostředků ve výuce přírodopisu na vybraných základních školách v Liberci / Using of Material Didactic Aids in Teaching of Biology on Selected Lower-secondary Schools in Liberec

The thesis focuses on the use of material didactic resources in teaching science at selected schools in Liberec. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is a literature survey, which characterizes didactic means in general on the basis of scientific literature. The aim of the thesis was to look more thoroughly at didactic aids, which are the main part of material didactic resources. Furthermore, to focus on the function of the resources in the classroom and to present the options and principles that should be followed when selecting them in order to make their use as effective as possible. The second, practical part, presents the results of observations from a total of 29 lessons which were taught as open lessons, in 3 primary schools in Liberec. The analysis of the collected data provided us with information on how much of the lesson the observed teachers devote to the use of material didactic resources. On the basis of the time load, we got an overview of the preferred resources and could evaluate whether they are traditional (workbook, classical blackboard, textbooks) or modern (Internet services, interactive whiteboards).
