Možnosti redukce šestimocného chromu při hydrataci portlandského cementu / Possibilities of hexavalent chromium reduction within portland cement hydration

Mončeková, Miroslava January 2012 (has links)
The issue of Hexavalent chromium toxicity to Portland cement hydration is a very actual these days. It takes much effort to obtain a cement containing Cr(VI) less than 2 ppm. The primary objective of this diploma theses is to find appropriate reducing substances and specify their efficiency, as well as to make an attempt to optimize their dosage. As reducing substances there were plumbed sulphites and tin(II) salts. The influence of reducing substances applied to the hydration and cement properties were validated by strenght tests, the calorimetric measurement and the volume-variation measurement. And also the changes in hydration products microstructure of Portland clinker after the gypsum replacement by sulphite ions were plumbed. The study of microstructure is based on SEM and XRD methods.

Modifikace vlastností portlandských cementů orientovaná na snížení emisí CO2 / Modicications of Portland cement properties focused on reducing CO2 emissions

Magrla, Radek January 2013 (has links)
This thesis aims to burn raw material with a lower content of carbonate component for the production of Portland cement. Substitution of carbonate component is done by fluidized fly ash. The model cements are tested of basic technological properties and the hydration process is observed.

Studium vlastností betonů s „green cementy“ / Study of properties of concrete with "green cement"

Matyk, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
The thesis focuses on collecting available information about possible ways of using and usage restriction of portland blended cements and portland cements with limestone for production of concrete. The experimental part of the thesis describes the behavior of portland blended cements and portland cements with limestone in aggressive environments. Furthermore, the thesis concerns the dependence of rheological properties of cement pastes of portland cements and portland cements with limestone on type of plasticizing additives.

Úskalí zastavování hydratace alkalicky aktivované strusky organickými látkami / Issues of stopping the hydration of alkali-activated slag using organic substances

Chadima, Jan January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with the stopping of hydration of alkali activated slag by organic solvents and investigates to what extent the selected organic solvent affects the results of the analyses. The solvents used were acetone, diethyl ether, ethanol, isopropanol and methanol, and this is because these are the most commonly used organic solvents in practice. Thermogravimetric analysis along with differential thermal analysis was used to assess the degree of influence of organic solvents on the alkali activated slag and Portland cement samples. Methanol and acetone affected the samples the most and the longer the sample was stored in the solvent, the more it reacted with the organic solvent. The adverse interaction of organic solvent was greatest for the Portland cement samples. Samples that were rinsed with diethyl ether prior to analysis had lower mass losses than samples that were not rinsed. In the case of alkali activated slag, it was found that the way in which the thermogravimetric results were affected by organic solvents was highly dependent on the activator used, with the smallest effect observed for Na2CO3 activation, while the largest effect was observed for NaOH activation at temperatures below 600 °C, and for higher temperatures for water glass activation.

Účinnost přídavků mletí používaných při výrobě Portlandských cementů / Milling activators use in the Portland clinker production practice

Spurný, Marek January 2019 (has links)
This work deals kinetics of grinding Portland cement clinker which is influenced by addition of grinding inlays surfactants. In an experiment, attritor-type stirred mill was used and surface active grinding additives such as polyethylenglykol (PEG), triethylamin (TEA) and acetate of ammonium were utilized. Granulometric distribution graph obtained from laser diffraction analysis provides data for plotting development diagrams for milling process.

Možnosti využití cihelného recyklátu v pojivových systémech s obsahem p-slínku / Possibilities of using recycled brick in binders systems with p-clinker content

Tušla, Václav January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the preparation binder systems based on Portland clinker and recycled brick. Recycled brick is considered a waste material from construction or production of brick products. This thesis uses finely grounded brick recycled and brick dust, which is produced during final processing of burnt bricks. By incorporating brick dust in alternative system based on Portland clinker could bring ecological and economic benefits. This diploma thesis deals with option using brick dust as pozzolan admixture to Portland clinker, with the aim to prepare and test Portland cement, which is defined in v ČSN EN 197-1. This thesis also deals with possibility preparation of alternative binders based on p-clinker, but those not defined by ČSN EN 197-1. Specifically these are ternary binders with fluid bed ash and binders based on hybrid cements containing sodium sulfate.

Systémy rychle tuhnoucích směsí na bázi portlandských cementů / Systems of self-setting foundry mixtures on the base portland cements

Janíčková, Petra January 2008 (has links)
The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch N2332-00. The project is submitting design of technology production sand mixture with cement binder – Portland binder CEM I 42,5 N. Pursuant to of the literary pursuit a problem of the sand mixture with cement binder was tested few sand mixture. As optimal composition it turned out application sand mixture with 2 % CaCl2 content and 1 – 2 % Dextrin content. Sand mixture with cement has good moulder and regenerating.

Možnosti využití cihelného obrusu v systémech na bázi portlandského cementu / Possibilities of utilization of brick-grind-dust in systems based on portland cement

Palovčík, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
This thesis deals with possibilities of using brick-grind-dust which is a secondary product from manufacturing of grinded bricks. A boom in this method of masonry is connected with an increase of production of these secondary materials. These secondary materials are partly returned to brick manufacturing and partly buried in a landfill site. Due to their composition and origin, these materials are potentially pozzolan active, making them interesting for applications in hydraulic binders. The aim of the work was to study the physical and chemical properties of several brick-grind-dust and brick sands. Subsequently, binders based on these materials and Portland cement were prepared. The properties of the binders were modified by means of adding a commercially available polycarboxylate superplasticizer. The development of mechanical properties of the prepared binders has been studied over time. Hydration of the selected binders was analyzed by isothermal calorimetry.

Využití fluidních popílků k přípravě hydraulické maltoviny / UTILIZATION OF FBC ASH FOR HYDRAULIC BINDER PREPARATION

Wagner, Štěpán January 2012 (has links)
FBC-ashes, as a waste product of a relatively new technology of combustion, so-called fluidized bed combustion, cannot be used for building materials production in contrast to fly-ashes. Problem rests in their chemical as well as their mineralogical composition. Thought it can be admitted that FBC-ash may be used for preparation of the hydraulic binder with a similar chemical and mineralogical composition, but only in a certain limit of concentration. The first part of this thesis was focused on the potentialities of fluid fly ashes utilization as hydraulic bonding material in preparation of dry mortar mixtures and the second part of works was engaged in research development of burned hydraulic binder of FBC ash. The thesis explores the conjunction between parameters of burning mode and hydraulic binder characteristics.
