Sada portletů pro správu času / Portlets Based Time Management ToolsBasovník, Martin January 2013 (has links)
This master's thesis focuses on development of mini-applications for portal environments called portlets. Portal is an alternative type of web information systems used to dynamic portlet management, content personalization and aggregation of content from different data sources. The aim of this thesis is to try an alternative combination of technologies of portals, portlets and portlet bridges. This thesis is one of the first demonstrations of the described combination of technologies and will be used as an educational material by Red Hat company for development of portlets on their portal GateIn. The set of portlets manages user calendars, tasks and contacts. The theoretical part of this thesis compares existing tools for time management and mentions standards for data exchange in this domain. Subsequently it describes all important technologies used in this thesis. The practical part describes the design and the implementation of portlets and evaluates results of this work. The development of the described set of portlets proved that combination of technologies of portals, portlets and portlet birdges is fast and appropriate way how to develop information systems.

Liferay Portal z pohledu vývojáře / Liferay Portal from developer´s perspectiveHerain, Vít January 2015 (has links)
The topic of this thesis is Liferay Portal, which is a technology based on Java programming language and portlet applications. The technology is not well known among developers despite of the fact that the usage of this technology is quite common in the commercial sphere. The main aim of the thesis is to create a suite of procedures and hints in order to facilitate portlet development for beginners, who are planning to use technologies Spring framework and AngularJS. The secondary objectives include defining the paradigm related to portlet development, analysing portal specifics and its benefits, describing the Liferay Portal from different viewpoints, to compare Liferay to competitive solutions and finally creation, de-velopment and documenting of the application composed of 2 portlets. The main functio-nality of these portlets is Personal Financial Management. Aims were achieved by obtaining information from the community of developers and from sources listed in the bibliography. Information obtained in the area of development was empirically verified using the developed application. There is a proposed procedure in the thesis in case of using the AngularJS technology in the area of portlet development and common issues related to this usage. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with portals as such, mentions the market share, Java Portlet Specifications (JSR-168 and JSR-286) and defines the portlet development paradigm. The practical part of the thesis documents basic procedures necessary for portlet development with the option of using of AngularJS fra-mework and finally it documents the developed application from perspectives of the design and usage. The added value of this thesis is the intelligible guide how to start with development of portlets for Liferay Portal. The most important benefit is the guide created to simplify the usage of the AngularJS framework on the client side of the portlet (in the browser), becau-se usage in the common manner is not possible. The outcome and also the benefit is also the created application, which can be used in order to manage user´s expenses and incomes and which has already been used by the author for this purpose.

Portál / PortalZelinka, Tomáš January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis concerns enterprise portals and its objective is to map their functional support, which they can bring to the company. Especially to the access integration area. To achieve this goal the following proces was selected: The first step was to create theoretical background which describes the area of enterprise portals and how it can be seen. In the following part were set main functional areas whose coverage may be assured by the enterprise portal. These areas are : presentation, personalization and customization, security, administration, content management system, search, collaboration, accessibility and portlets. Another part is focused on the selection of specific portal solutions which are evaluated and comared at the conclusion. These are chosen products : IBM WebSphere Portal, Microsoft Sharepoint Server 2007, Oracle Portal 10g, BEA WebLogic Portal. Personal benefit is particularly comprehensive look into the issue of enterprise portals. Theoretical background makes possible to quickly obtain information which are presented in a logically organizace form. It will ensure continuity in the knowledge absorption. Practical part offers look into the enterprise portal market situation and shows what can offer specific product and at what level.

Autentisering med OAuth 2.0 i SiteVision : Jämförelse mellan Java Portlets och WebAppsEdin, Andreas January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this project has been to explore alternative technical solutions for making own extensions in the CMS SiteVision. The purpose of these extensions is to retrieve data from an external API (Office 365) which requires OAuth 2.0 authentication. Additional, the alternative technical solutions have been evaluated and compared. The comparisons have been made based on criteria developed through interviews with professional IT-consultants. The purpose of the project has been to contribute to more efficient digitization, integration and individualization of datasystems. Within the project, an applied example (POC) has been created to show examples of how the technology can be used. In this example, Java Portlets have been used to implement the above functionality. WebApps in SiteVision have also been studied since this technology is an alternative to Java Portlets. The survey shows that it is fully possible to create a separate extension in SiteVision that performs authentication with OAuth 2.0 and then uses it to retrieve data from an external API. The results from the comparison between the two different Java Portlets and WebApps technologies show that there are pros and cons of each technique. The alternatives studied where comparable in performance. Individual circumstances can dictate which alternative is best.
