Relation between body hair removal, body care and sexuality Although hair removal has been described as a "new norm" during the past decades, only a little is known about body hair removal patterns of women in the Czech Republic. The purpose of this study was to assess leg, underam an pubic hair removal behavior among women in the Czech Republic and to test the degree to which hair removal in various parts of the body is associated with body care as such, that is, to find out if it has become an integral part of women's daily body care practices or whether it is regarded as a rather specific one, unrelated to one's other body care habits. Furthermore, an association with sexual experience has been tested, along with attitudes towards sex and one's genitals, which have been shown to be a significant intervening factor by some authors. Last but not least, the importance of various reasons mostly given for hair removal has been assessed as well. First, a total of 15 women aged 19 to 46 years were interviewed in a pilot qualitative study. Title: Methodology of telemark skiing Aim of the study: The aim of this thesis is to create educational, methodological and motivational film, which will include design of metodology of telemark skiing. Methods: In developing this thesis, we used a combination of methods of critical analysis of documents and the author's own empirical experience with telemark skiing with the method of comparison of selected knowledge, methods and participating and uninvolved observation and cinematographic film processing method. The work is a synthesis of theoretical research and dynamic field work. Results: According to this thesis was created teaching methodology and motivational DVD that in addition to the metodology also out lines the historical aspects and current concepts of telemark skiing. The text of the thesis in theoretical part complements the DVD detailed information from the history and information about telemark equipment. The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce the notion of ugliness as an aesthetic category, concerning the question of its position in the aesthetic experience, based in particular on the conception of difficult beauty by Bernard Bosanquet. The first part of the thesis discusses the possibility of aesthetic experiencing of unpleasantness and so specifies ugliness as inherently aesthetic category, in comparison to the unaesthetic response of disgust. The second part of the thesis deals with the question of position of ugliness and the feeling of unpleasantness if ugliness is an adequate part of the aesthetic experience which is regarded as excellent and contributing. The solution offered by Bosanquet in his conception of difficult beauty however isn't fully sufficient and therefore the last chapter introduces the problem of ugliness from a different viewpoint which emphasizes the negativity and disturbance of ugliness, impossible to dissolve. The key feature of ugliness is the ambivalent link amongst the repulsion and the attraction in aesthetic experiencing. ATTITUDE TOWARD PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN CHILDREN OF AGE 8-10 YEARS Objectives: The main objective of this work is to identify attitudes towards physical activities for school children using a questionnaire CATP / Grade Year 3 (Schutz et al. 1985) in deliberately selected schools in 2008/2009 and subsequent comparison with results Málková in 2002. Methods: In our empirical study we used the method to get data questionnaire. It is a specialized questionnaire for primary school children known CATP GRADE / YEAR 3 (Schutz et al.1985). The questionnaire affects six dimensions of attitudes (social sensitivity, health hazards, social experience, aesthetic and pleasure of movement). For proper completion of the questionnaire was a manual for teachers or other examiners who are prepared to answering any questions students. Research was conducted in the third and fourth classes intentionally selected school (one village and a Prague Elementary School). The research was a one- stage and continued the descriptive research of Kaplan (2001). Results: The observed average values of six variables, we found higher value for X5dimensions - aesthetic in girls. The thesis focuses in the theoretical part on the changes in partnership and parenthood in the last twenty years. Specifically, the work concentrates on the transformation of marriage into alternative types of conjugal life and on the decrease of fertility and its postponement into higher ages. The main holder of these changes is young generation to which is this thesis related the most. Attention is also focused on the attitudes towards this issue. Using data drawn from ISSP Family and Gender Roles survey conducted in 1994, 2002 and 2012 the author analyze how attitudes towards marriage, unmarried cohabitation and parenthood have developed in the last twenty years. This thesis thematically deals with Uzbek minority in Prague, which was formed during the last two decades. Main part contain and analyze the structure of the Uzbek minority, and I used the statistics concerning number, working and educational activities, gender representation, territorial decomposition, crime and infringements of residential regime of Uzbek immigrants. I focus also on determination of expanse and method of integration in the majority society environment, patterns of behavior and thinking and culture aspects of everyday life in the minority group. From the research methods I use survey, in-depth interviews and participant observation. I place emphasis on the definition of "push" and "pull" factors of immigration. In addition, I document how the Uzbek Immigrants assess social and cultural environment of the host country, their attitudes and opinions to the people of the Czech Republic and members of other nationalities, especially to those with whom they come in a host country usually in contact, and how they integrate in the Czech environment. I also pay big attention to the changes that took place in the Uzbek community during life in the Czech Republic, including the period after 2008 due to the recession of Czech economy and restrict working opportunities and perspectives....

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the relationship between the pupil's classification and their attitude to economical subjects. The thesis is subdivided into two basic parts-theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part concerns about attitudes, motivations and classifications. The empirical part explains the outcome and result of my research, which was realized on pupils of third year of studies at economical secondary school.

Results of researches on the popularity of mathematics point to the trend of decreasing popularity with the pupils' progression. According to the study of Chvál a stronger decline occurs between the fifth and sixth grades. The presented thesis focuses mainly on what factors of the transition of pupils from the primary to lower-secondary level can influence their attitudes towards mathematics and also on what causes the changes of these attitudes can be named by the pupils of the sixth year. It focuses not only on changes in relation to mathematics, but it also maps the solidarity with the teacher as well as pupils' self- confidence. The research is also concerned with possible changes in the relationship of pupils to mathematics depending on whether they are taught by the Hejny method or not. The research was carried out in the form of questionnaires mapping pupils' attitudes to mathematics and interviews with selected pupils of the schools participating in the research. The sample consisted of 235 pupils in five elementary schools. The complete data was obtained from 161 of them and this data is therefore a substantial part of the results analysis. Contributing to the available literature on the cross-cultural management between China and the Czech Republic, this thesis is examining the factors influencing the performance and success of Czechs working and living in China. It firstly defines the cultural settings of China and the Czech Republic, their key aspects and cultural specifics. Secondly, it describes the desired qualities of a successful expatriate - the so called global mindset. Thirdly, the thesis focuses on the specifics of working in China and on the potential culture shock a Czech expatriate is likely to face after relocating there. In the practical part of the thesis, the methods and results of an original primary field research conducted among more than 30 Czech expatriates in China are outlined. Using correlations and content analysis, the final results are drawn and the prior hypotheses either confirmed or disproved. The summary of the thesis offers then a set of recommendations for an expatriate-to-be who is coming to China - an ancient land surrounded by mysteries even in our modern times.

In this thesis we are focusing at the notion of psychical distance first introduced in the work "'Psychical Distance' as a Factor in Art and as an Aesthetic Principle" from Edward Bullough. There were many responses to the concept of psychical distance from many authors, some of them have rejected this notion, and others tried to support it. Initially we provided brief interpretation of Bulough's work with the focus at parts, which are cited and investigated most frequently in mentioned interpretations. We are interpreting and comparing gradually the most popular works, which involve the notion of psychical distance with respect to Bullough's original concept. We are pointing out the difference between notions psychical distance and aesthetic attitude, because they are mistaken one for another by many different authors. This thesis tries to provide new look at some papers responding to Bullough's conception.
