Povědomí zdravotníků o psychosociální intervenční péči / Health care professional awereness about of psych-social intervention care

DAŠKOVÁ, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
Awareness of psychosocial intervention care among healthcare professionals Abstract Aims, research questions and hypotheses: The aim of the research is to evaluate the awareness of healthcare professionals about psychosocial intervention care. Goal 1: Identify the real situation in psychosocial intervention care. Goal 2: Identify the possibilities of offering and using psychosocial intervention care in healthcare facilities. Methods and research file: Quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques were used. A quantitative survey was conducted using questionnaires distributed to healthcare professionals in selected organizations (Liberec and Jičín Regional Hospital and University Hospital Hradec Králové). The size of the research group is 170 respondents. A qualitative part was realized with semi-structured interviews with peers in the same organizations. In total, we reached five peers. Results and conclusions: The research shows that health professionals perceive their work as mentally and physically demanding. The difficulty of the healthcare profession is perceived through all age categories, across disciplines and regardless of the length of practice. Half of the respondents considered a change of a job due to mental and/or physical demands. More than half of health care professionals are aware of psychosocial intervention care system. The survey further shows that healthcare professionals find themselves in extreme mental stress that would potentially require psychosocial intervention care. Only a low percentage of healthcare professionals will use this service. A qualitative survey shows that healthcare professionals are afraid of loss of anonymity when using psychosocial intervention care. This is related to mistrust in peers. From a peer point of view, it is important to be more aware of this service, helping healthcare professionals in their psychologically demanding occupation, which will increase their use and efficiency. The output of this thesis will be a proposal to include topics on psychosocial intervention care in regular training for employees.

Postoje Romů v ČR k okolní společnosti, k lidem většinového etnika a k lidem s odlišnostmi / Attitudes of Roma in the Czech Republic towards the surrounding society, towards people of the majority ethnic group and towards people with differences

Švejdová Jandová, Markéta January 2021 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to describe the attitudes of Roma towards the majority ethnic group and towards people with various differences. I tried to map the attitudes of Roma towards the majority ethnic group, their social distance to them, whether and to what extent they experience conflicts with persons of other ethnic groups and different social groups and how they view otherness. I created the work in collaboration with researchers from the National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ) on the project The Stranger as a Symbol of Otherness - How Personality Affects Our Attitudes. The experimental group of Roma people had 15 respondents, the control group 55 respondents. I conducted the research using a Bogardus scale and a conflict-oriented questionnaire, and I obtained average values for individual items from the answers. Due to the different size of the experimental and control groups, I also used the analysis of the Mann Whitney test to determine the significance of the difference between the observed groups. The results led me to the conclusion that the degree of social distance of the Roma towards the majority in comparison with the degree of social distance of the majority towards the Roma is statistically insignificant. Another finding was the overall higher degree of social...

Přesvědčení a spotřeba. Případ Fair Trade v České republice / Conviction and Consumption - The Case of Fair Trade in the Czech Republic

Humhej, Jan January 2014 (has links)
As documented in previous research, the attitude-behaviour gap (inconsistency between declared values and actual purchases) is phenomena which affects consumption in many different markets of ethical consumption. The diploma thesis analyses this phenomena, specifically in Czech Fair trade market. The attitude behaviour gap in the Czech Fair trade market was found to be in around third of the population, confirming the presence of the gap, which replicated the results of previous research in the field. From people with pro Fair trade values who do not buy Fair trade products, approximately half is not aware of Fair trade existence, indicating that lack of Fair trade awareness could be possibly hurting Fair trade sales. When analyzing respondents with pro Fair trade values who also have Fair Trade awareness, the skepticism towards ability of Fair trade movement to fulfill their declared goals and high quality perception of Fair trade products turned out to be the strongest and statistically significant predictors of whether one buys Fair trade or not. Focus on raising awareness about Fair trade existence, improving quality perception and decreasing skepticism towards Fair trade conversion is suggested for Fair trade marketers for helping to convert people with pro Fair trade values into Fair trade buyers.

Vliv proinkluzivního edukačního prostředí na postoje žáků vůči osobám se znevýhodněním / Impact of inclusive environment for pupils attitudes towards persons with disability

Zilcher, Ladislav January 2016 (has links)
This dissertation is conceived as a theoretical - empirical study, which is focused on modifications in attitudes of fourth and fifth grade pupils towards people with disabilities. The research is based on three possible influences for attitudes, (1) the effect of classmate with disability on pupils' attitudes towards people with disability, (2) teacher's approach to the issue, their inclusive teaching competences and the effect on pupils' attitudes and (3) if school and its inclusive setting (which is represented by schools with "Fair school" certificate) has any influence on pupils' attitudes towards persons with disabilities. We try to explain one elemental empirical question by dealing with these three particular research issues. Does inclusive environment have positive influence on fourth and fifth grade pupils towards people with disabilities? We decided to choose a quasiexperimental design of this study to answer this question. Two validated empirical instruments were used in the research, they were administrated on a sample that consists of 1948 pupils from fourth and fifth grades and (their) 102 teachers. The acquired data were processed by appropriate statistical methods. Our outcomes partly confirmed the assumption that inclusive environment may have an impact on pupils' attitude towards...
