Metafory šílenství: umlčení mýtotvůrci a porouchané mozky. / Metaphors of Madness: Silenced Myth-Makers and Disordered Brains.

Müller, Matyáš January 2016 (has links)
The work has basically three aims: 1st to map the wide range of various approaches in the current debate about madness, 2nd to formulate a specific theory of madness, 3rd to identify general philosophical problems the topic brings about, (a 4th aim is also outlined: to understand the presented theory in terms of therapeutic potential). The central thesis of this work is that insanity is an inherently ambiguous and elusive phenomenon and that trying to understand it we are using various metaphors borrowed from other areas, and consequently forget their metaphorical nature. The work is generally motivated by an effort to reconcile conflicting approaches, to understand them as complementary. It also wants to avoid creating an all-embracing synthesis on the one hand, and purely relativistic and pragmatic viewpoint on the other hand. The first part identifies four levels on which particular approaches understand madness as a problem: the level of the individual, the level of the collective, the transpersonal level and the existential level. At the end of the part, I discuss the possibilities and risks of creating a theoretical framework that would enable to understand various contradictory approaches on a common basis. In the second part, I develop my own analysis of madness. It is based on a...

Určení přetvoření železničního svršku / Deformation Surveying of Railway Track

Suchánek, Zbyněk January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this master thesis was to measure and evaluate shifts of rail strip and deck of the bridge in the 0,206 km route Zábřeh - Bludov across the river Moravská Sázava. The measurement was performed by classical geodetic methods. The result of the study was evaluation of the three periods of deformation measurements and numerical and graphical documentation. Shifts were caused especially by changes in temperature and operational effects.

Neparametrické testování nezávislosti trajektorií zvířat / Nonparametric tests of independence between animal movement trajectories

Veselý, Martin January 2021 (has links)
In this thesis, we assume observing a pair of trajectories of two objects which could interact with one another and we want to propose a way to test their independence. We formulate basic point process definitions and discuss ways to describe trajectory data. We formulate the theory behind Monte Carlo tests and global envelope testing. In Chapter 2, we propose a parametric model to represent trajectories and derive Maximum Likelihood estimates of its model. We conclude the chapter by exploring the performance of these estimates. In Chapter 3, we propose test statistics used to test for independence using a nonparametric Monte Carlo test based on a random shift approach. We perform a simulation study to assess the performance of these statistics under various conditions and discuss the selection of fine-tuning parameters. Finally, in Chapter 4, we study real data provided by the Voyageurs Wolf Project and apply the proposed tests on real wolf trajectories. 1

Opakovaná GPS měření na polygonu Tetčice. / Repeated GPS measurements at polygon Tetčice

Petrlík, Karel January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with epoch GNSS measurement by static method at Tetčice polygon. The main purpose is to confirm the geological activity of the Earth's surface on the territory of the village, caused by a tectonic fault. As part of the thesis, the fourth phase of observation was carried out in June 2016 to detect horizontal shifts on four concrete pillars with depth stabilization and forced centering equipment. Results are velocity vector maps obtained by processing the measured data from all the measurement phases that have been performed so far. The thesis also contains the theoretical basis of geological conditions in the area and a description of technology of global navigation satellite systems.

Moderní algoritmy posunu výšky základního tónu a jejich využití ve virtuálních hudebních nástrojích / Modern pitch-shifting algorithms and its aplication in virtual musical instruments

Křupka, Aleš January 2011 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with pitch shifting methods of acoustical signals. The theoretic part of this thesis involves description of three different pitch shifting techniques, these are the method using a modulated delay line, PICOLA method and method using a phase vocoder. The first two methods represent the processing in time domain, the third method represents the processing in frequency domain. In relation with the PICOLA method, the thesis also mentions algorithms for pitch estimation. The practical part demonstrates the use of these methods. There is described a sampler virtual musical instrument based on the playback of the sounds stored in memory. In this part the particular units providing the required functionality are described. The generating of sounds is controlled by the MIDI protocol. In the sampler is implemented the PICOLA method.

Ultrazvukový anemometr / Ultrasonic anemometer

Hůlka, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with the construction and realization of an ultrasound anemo- meter. Individual types of anemometers are compared in this thesis, including mechanical, thermo anemometer and ultrasound anemometer. Different construction renderings and measurement principles of ultrasonic anemometers are analyzed. In addition, an experi- mental method of measuring the speed of sound by phase shift between two transmitting frequency is described in the document. This thesis includes the design of an control unit and the realization of a simple prototype of an ultrasonic anemometer. Experimental confirmation of the characteristics of the ultrasound anemometer is the last part of the document.

Geodetické měření posunů a deformací dřevěné střešní konstrukce velkého rozpětí / Geodetic Deformation Measurement of Wide-Span Timber Roof Structures

Karas, Jindřich January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is deformation measurement of wide-span timber roof structures of swimming pool in Brno - Kohoutovice. The thesis deals with measuring of other stage, processing of surveying data, evaluation of deformation and graphic interpretation. Results of measurements follows up two stages in years 2009 and 2010. The part of the thesis is calibration measurement of surveying instruments and used measuring accessories.

Využití časových informací pro identifikaci počítače / Computer Identification Using Time Information

Jirásek, Jakub January 2012 (has links)
This work deals with the identification of a remote computer by monitoring TCP timestamps of the tracked device. It is possible to determine computer's clock skew from these timestamps as the clock skew is unique for every device. We are able to differentiate devices even though they have changed location, network address or connection type. Passive data capturing ensures that the identification process is invisible to the fingerprinted computer. It is necessary that the network communication of fingerprinted computer is visible to the observing device. We are able to utilise only TCP traffic with timestamps enabled.

Monitoring pohybu skalních bloků v propadání Bílé vody / Monitoring of the Rock Blocks Movements in the Bila voda Sink

Moštěk, Václav January 2012 (has links)
This thesis describes the alignment, processing and data evaluation of the 14th and 15th period (in the year 2011) of the monitoring of moving rock blocks in sagging Nová Rasovna situated near the village Holštejn, Czech Republic. These two periods are compared with each other and afterward the coordinates from 2011 are compared with coordinates from all previous periods, mainly with the zero period.

Harmonický posun výšky tónu / Harmonic pitch shifting

Cihelková, Tereza January 2011 (has links)
This thesis describes the design and implementation of audio effect for pitch shifting of monophonic singing signals. The effect can generate two pitch shifted voices from input signal in real-time, while preserving formants. Amount of the shift can be controlled via MIDI controller. The effect is implemented as VST module in the form of dynamic-link library. This work also includes theoretical introduction to related DSP techniques.
