Studium srážek protonů a těžkých iontů na LHC / Study of jets in p+p and Pb+Pb collisions at LHC

Rybář, Martin January 2015 (has links)
Highly energetic jets are considered to be a direct probe of hot and dense QCD medium created in heavy ion collisions. Jet measurements performed both at the LHC and RHIC indicate a presence of the jet quenching phenomenon. This thesis summarizes ATLAS jet heavy ion measurements and it reports the first exploratory study of properties of the multi-jet production in heavy ion collisions presented in terms of yield of neighbouring jets. The work is expected to shed a light on the process of the parton energy loss. The measurement is performed using the Pb+Pb collision data collected by ATLAS detector during the 2011 LHC runs at the nucleon-nucleon center of mass energy of 2.76 TeV. 1

Číslicové zpracování signálů v reálném čase / Digital signal processing in real time

Zamazal, Zdeněk January 2011 (has links)
This work deals with digital signal processing in the field of adaptive filtering. Fundamental basics of adaptive filtering are described and primary aim is to create executable laboratory examples, using adaptive filtering, in LabView programming language. These laboratory examples are intended to be used by students fo studying and during laboratory lessons. Objective is to connect the examples with external devices, such as microphone. A microphone is used as an user's speech input acquiring interface. In the thesis is depicted Wiener's filter and problem of adaptive filtering is discussed. Contemporary adaptive algorithms are described and their applications as well. Most mentioned is the LMS algorithm and it's forms. Laboratory examples use following concepts: Adaptive Echo Cancellation, Active Noise Control and System Identification. Each of these examples is solely executable (need for LabView or Run-time engine), consisting also of theory with diagrams. Examples therefore are usable even without manual.

Mobilní platforma pro testování automobilových systémů pro Bluetooth Hands-Free komunikaci / Mobile platform for testing of automotive systems in Bluetooth Hands-Free communication

Mecerod, Václav January 2014 (has links)

Waveletová analýza a zvýrazňování MR tomografických a ultrazvukových obrazů / Wavelet analysis and enhancement of MR tomography and ultrasound images

Matoušek, Luděk January 2008 (has links)
Tomographic MR (Magnetic Resonance) and sonographic biosignal processing are important non-invasive diagnostic methods used in a medicine. A noise added into processed data by an amplifier of tomograph receiving part and by circuits of sonograph is resulting in a body organ diagnosis degradation. Image data are stored in a standardized DICOM medical file format. Methods using wavelet analysis for noise suppression in image data have been designed and their comparation with classical methods has been made in this work. The MATLAB was utilized for data processing and data rewriting back to the DICOM format.

Moderní metody zvýrazňování statických MR obrazů / Modern Methods of MR Static Image Enhancement

Zbranek, Lukáš January 2009 (has links)
The aim of this masters thesis is design and implement an appropriate method for highlighting MR images and the identification of rough edges to provide for division of controlled areas. To this purpose is possible to use the Wavelet analysis. For the simulation environment I using MATLAB entviroment, where introduce the comparison for different types of de-noising and too for different mother wavelets. These methods will be implemented on various MR images of termoromandibular joint.

Potlačení turbulentního proudění v potrubí / Turbulent flow suppression in pipe

Jahn, Jiří January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with ways to suppress turbulent flow in pipelines. In the first part various methods of laminarization are presented, when the turbulent flow is transformed into laminar flow, including the results of experiments published by the authors. The next part presents the results from CFD. The calculations were performed for one of the methods mentioned in the first part and the results were compared with each other. In addition, several options have been suggested to improve the original method.

Polohový a kursový referenční systém / Attitude and Heading Reference System

Chotaš, Kryštof January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with inertial navigation systems issues. It describes basics of reference frames, coordinate systems and matrix calculations for AHRS. There are also basic information about inertial sensors, inertial measurements units and its mistakes. One of the purposes of this paper could be explanation of inertial navigation systems terms. The main object of this thesis is to explore the influence of using multiple sensors of same type to enhance measurements of AHRS systems.

Robustní řízení elektrických pohonů / Robust Control of AC Electrical Drives

Pohl, Lukáš January 2015 (has links)
The purpose of this disertation is to introduce and demonstrate a new approach to robust control of AC electrical drives. The proposed robust control method takes advantage of a nonlinear nature of AC motor d-q equations to construct self-scheduled LPV stator current controller. The benefit of this approach is in maitaining the robustness without any increase in conservatism of the H infinity controller. The resulting controller achieves fast and consistent response in the entire range of operating speeds. Rejection of the load torque disturbance is achieved with nonparametric H infinity speed controller in the outter loop of the cascade structure. The combination of LPV current controller and H infinity speed controller was verified on real-time simulation platform dSPACE ds1103. Simulation results for both types of AC motors (PMSM and IM) shows that the proposed solution is not only robust with respect to operating speeds but also impervious to wide range of load disturbance values.

Zobrazení scény pomocí hlubokých stínových map / Rendering Using Deep Shadowmaps

Rejent, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
Rendering shadows of transparent objects in real-time applications is difficult. The number of usable methods is limited by the available computing power. Depth Peeling and Dual Depth Peeling methods are described in this document. These allow rendering of transparent objects without the need of sorting them. Deep Shadow Maps are described as a method for rendering shadows of transparent objects. These methods were used to create an demonstration application. This application provides rendering of transparent objects and their shadows, including colored ones. The Application is build upon OpenGL and Qt framework. Evaluation of rendering speed according to various parameters is also part of this work.
