While many sought other regions where family farms were still possible, others have moved to nearby cities, looking for land or cheap rents, often located in neighborhoods devoid of any infrastructure. Work possibilities also not allowed best expectations. Faced with all these difficulties, in Toledo, Cold Pouso and the factory is constituted as spaces of struggle and resistance mainly in the 1970s to 1990. Fighting for public services in the district and for better working conditions. In this process, building networks of solidarity among family, friends and neighbors contributed significantly to the organization of confrontation. This work tries to precisely understand the dynamics of construction of these social processes and movements of workers in the city of Toledo that period. The call occupying area of Frio Pouso in the city of Toledo / PR, in the decades of 1970-90, was the scene of conflicts and movements, among other implications, caused the removal of dozens of families to other areas of the neighborhood and the city. The so-called "regularization" of this area was accompanied, among other things, the realignment, widening and opening streets; realignment of fences and walls; drainage of wetlands and retreat and transport of house areas. These projects were designed and implemented without the consultation of workers Frio Pouso and without actually take real commitment to improving the living conditions of these subjects. To guide research for the establishment of the Cold Pouso and the changes produced in this space, privilege the questioning of the experiences of individuals who lived in this area: their survival strategies; integration into the labor market; problems faced; housing conditions; expectations; social practices produced struggle; and finally, making the interpretation of this present process / Esta dissertação discute o processo histórico de transformações na produção rural capitalista que impôs limites à permanência de diferentes sujeitos no campo, no Oeste do Paraná. Enquanto muitos buscaram outras regiões em que a agricultura familiar ainda fosse possível, outros se mudaram para as cidades próximas, procurando terrenos ou aluguéis baratos, frequentemente situados em bairros desprovidos de qualquer infraestrutura. As possibilidades de trabalho também não permitiam melhores expectativas. Diante de todas estas dificuldades, em Toledo, o Pouso Frio e a fábrica constituíram-se como espaços de luta e resistência principalmente nas décadas de 1970 a 1990. Luta por serviços públicos no bairro e por melhores condições de trabalho. Neste processo, a construção de redes de solidariedade entre familiares, amigos e vizinhos contribuiu significativamente para a organização do enfrentamento. Esta dissertação busca justamente compreender as dinâmicas de construção destes processos sociais e movimentos de trabalhadores na cidade de Toledo naquele período. A área de ocupação chamada de Pouso Frio na cidade de Toledo/PR, nas décadas de 1970-90, foi palco de conflitos e movimentações que, entre outras implicações, provocou a remoção de dezenas de famílias para outros espaços do bairro e da cidade. A chamada regularização desta área foi acompanhada, entre outras coisas, do realinhamento, alargamento e abertura de ruas; realinhamento de cercas e muros; drenagem de áreas alagadiças e recuo e transporte de casas. Estes projetos foram elaborados e postos em prática sem a consulta aos trabalhadores do Pouso Frio e sem efetivamente assumir compromissos reais com a melhoria das condições de vida destes sujeitos. Ao orientar a investigação para a constituição do Pouso Frio e as transformações produzidas neste espaço, privilegio a problematização das experiências dos sujeitos que viveram nesta área: suas estratégias de sobrevivência; inserção no mercado de trabalho; problemas enfrentados; condições de moradia; expectativas; práticas sociais de luta produzidas; e por fim, a interpretação que fazem atualmente deste processo
