Prostituce z pohledu poptávky (analýza webových stránek klientů prostitutek) / Prostitution from the viewpoint of demand (analysis of web pages of prostitutes' clients)

ČECHOVÁ, Veronika January 2013 (has links)
This submitted thesis with the title Prostitution from the viewpoint of demand (analysis of web pages of prostitutes' clients) is focused on the reflection of women working in the sexual business by their clients - "norniks" - men, who are using commercial sexual services, and who also participates in the discussion at the website www.nornik.net. The thesis is divided in two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part defines the concept of prostitution, and is further dedicated to the types of female prostitution. It briefly describes the history of prostitution, as well as the prostitution in the territory of the Czech Republic, and also reflects the change of the czech sexual scene. In the following chapters of the theoretical part I defined the typology of prostitutes, the typology of prostitution, and specified the typology of female prostitution in detail. I also looked into men as actors in the sexual business, depicted them as prostitutes' clients and customers. In the last chapter of the theoretical part the thesis describes the website forum www.nornik.net. The research section deals with a description of the methodology of the research itself, interpreting and presenting research results. With regard to an objective of this thesis and specificity of the research sample I have chosen a strategy of qualitative research. As a research method, I have used a qualitative-interpretative secondary analysis of documents. When examining the reflection of women's language means by men-?norniks?, elements of discourse analysis were used. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the reflection of women working in the sexual business by their clients who at the same time discuss their experiences on the website www.nornik.net. Out of the above objective I have determined the following question: How are women working in the sex industry reflected by clients? The fundamental target file is created by contributions of users from website www.nornik.net. This group is highly specific, especially because it is closed to the mainstream society and puts a high emphasis on anonymity. The research for this thesis was carried out from January to April 2013. The data extracted from the analysis of individual discussions has been processed by the method of making clumps. As has emerged from the analysis of the website when making a research, men - ?norniks? consider sex as a merchandise and commodify female body, which is evident from the evaluation and appellation of women working in the sexual business. Experienced ?norniks? appreciate such women who make their living by providing sexual services mainly for being skilled, likeable and for having good manners. At repeated meetings, such qualities trumps the physical attractiveness, which is of course important and also decisive at the first date. Rating and naming of women working in the sexual business varies depending on where the women work. An interesting discovery was that some ?norniks? consider sexual services as the easiest and cheapest way to satisfy their sexual needs. This finding is also closely related to the description of motivation for immersion. For ?norniks?, commercial sex becomes a certain kind of addictive behaviour, they have higher sexual appetite or seek for something new and uncommon or want to realize their sexual imagination. In this thesis should be a reflection of women working in the sexual business via their clients. At the same time it should be understood that also men as customers are participants of the sexual business. With regard to the fact that the issue was not further examined at the target file, it can be a source of information to the professional public. This thesis can also be an important source of information to the non-professional public and last but not least it can become a basis for further research.

Připravenost sester na poskytování specifické péče u apalických pacientů / Nurses readiness for providing specific care to patients with apallic syndrome

PROKEŠOVÁ, Helena January 2010 (has links)
Apalic syndrome or waking state of unconsciousness is a special type of consciousness disturbance, the essential feature of which is wakefulness with open eyes. Specific nursing care of a patient with apalic syndrome is the most challenging because the patient is completely dependent on this care. Therefore, it is necessary for nurses working with apalic patients to be prepared to provide nursing care to these patients as well as possible Diploma thesis assesses and evaluates the knowledge of future nurses on the apalic syndrome and the specific nursing care, which patients with apalic syndrome are provided with. This knowledge is compared with the knowledge of nurses who have already been providing nursing care to these patients and, based on the experience of those nurses, the ways how to improve the knowledge are surveyed. Quantitative research, an interrogation method, anonymous questionnaire technique was used in this section. In the thesis the factors are assessed that may directly affect the preparedness of future nurses and nurses already working to provide specific nursing care to patients with apalic syndrome. Nurses themselves suggest solutions. In this section the qualitative research survey, the questioning method, and the half standardized interview technique were involved. Apalic syndrome is one of topical and discussed issues. It is difficult to tackle this serious problem, it involves not only medical but also ethical and economic aspects. From the outcomes of the survey a lower level of knowledge of future nurses on apalic syndrome and specifics of nursing care is apparent. This partly reflects their preparedness. Conditions should be created for future nurses so that they could deepen their knowledge through study and employ this knowledge directly to apalic patients. Nursing practice carried out during study may also come in useful. It can help facilitate nurses´ work in units where nursing care is provided to apalic patients and eliminate factors that may affect the quality of care. The objective of this thesis was to point out to the issue of providing a specific nursing care of apalic patients not only from the perspective of future nurses.

První fáze NDR literatury: budovatelská literatura 1949-1956 / First phase of GDR literature: Aufbauliteratur 1949-1956

Wunderlin, Katja January 2015 (has links)
This work deals with the first phase of the GDR literature, the so-called Aufbauliteratur. It shows how the GDR dealt during the years 1949 to 1956 with the fascist past and how the newly formed socialist state was built. The contemporary literature of the GDR reflects the efforts to reeducate people in the sense of the socialist ideas and to portray the daily life of the new socialist republic. In the meantime this literature should boost the working people to increase the production and to build a socialist economy. The aim of my work is to show the reflection of the former reality in the literature. As a basis for this analysis there are five selected works from Eduard Claudius Mensch an unserer Seite, Hans Marchwitza Roheisen, Elfriede Brüning Regine Haberkorn, Jan Koplowitz Unser Kumpel Max, der Riese und Harry Thürk Die Herren des Salzes. Keywords: GDR, Aufbauliteratur, socialist state, working people, production, re-education, Eduard Claudius, Hans Machwitza, Jan Koplowitz, Harry Thürk, Elfriede Brüning

Štěrbinová anténa pro pásmo X / Slot antenna for X band

Buriánek, František January 2013 (has links)
This work familiarizes readers with the issues of slot antennas. It presents design and simulation of slot antenna for X band in CST Microwave Studio program. The simulation procedure is described here, including all the settings required for proper operation of the simulation. Then there is the description of the principle of the Half-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide - HMSIW. In the end the designed structure of HMSIW and the slot antenna are assembled and measured. The results of the simulation are compared with the results acquired by measurements. The designed antenna at the frequency 10 GHz achieves the impedance bandwidth 255 MHz, and the gain 8,81 dBi (the simulated values in CST Microwave studio).
