No. of bitstreams: 1 2010_HelderCleberAlmeidaPereira.pdf: 13304917 bytes, checksum: d6acdaf027b64c38c1dc252e5fd07b93 (MD5) / O presente trabalho, inicialmente, descreve o protocolo SCTP (”Stream Control Transmission Protocol”) e algumas de suas variações, e em seguida apresenta um estudo para obter um maior ganho de desempenho no emprego desse protocolo quando em multi-homing, beneficiando de maneira direta a sua utilização por aplicações, através da proposta de agregação de novos mecanismos `aquele protocolo, tornando-o mais proativo no acompanhamento do estado dos diferentes recursos de transmissão disponibilizados pelo protocolo e na adaptação ao uso do caminho que melhor atenda à necessidade das aplicações¸ seja em cenário estático ou dinâmico em relação à movimentação das partes envolvidas na associação SCTP.A solução proposta, aqui chamada de PA-SCTP (Proativo Adaptativo SCTP), busca fazer uso do multi-homing de forma mais adaptativa e proativa `as necessidade das aplicações.Para demonstrar o ganho de desempenho com o uso do PA-SCTP, gráficos relativos a atraso, atraso médio, variação da janela de transmissão (cwnd) e vazão foram utilizados de forma comparativa com os gráficos gerados pelo SCTP-Padrão (SCTP com valores de parâmetros configuráveis sugeridos pela RFC 4960), SCTP-Parametrizado (SCTP com valores de parâmetros configuráveis mais sensíveis à condição do meio de transmissão) e RSCTP (solução proposta por Kim et al. [1] que busca otimizar o protocolo SCTP nas decisões de troca do caminho de transmissão dos pacotes de dados).O PA-SCTP funciona como um módulo auxiliar em uma comunicação fim a- fim SCTP,que computa informações referentes a paradas no recebimento de pacotes, picos de atraso,atraso médio e variação da janela de transmissão (CWND). Por meio desse acompanhamento da comunicação por parte do cliente, o PA-SCTP ditará o melhor momento de fazer a trocado caminho de transmissão, ou seja, menos danoso para a aplicação. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / This work, initially, describes the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP) and some variations. On the continuation, it presents a study to obtain a higher gain in performance with multi-homing in the utilization of the mentioned protocol, benefiting directly to the applications, considering the aggregation of new mechanisms to the SCTP protocol,making it more proactive in following, in the most active modes, the status of the different transmission resources available by the protocol and adaptive to the use of the path that best meets the application needs, whether in dynamic or static scenario in relation for the movement of the parties involved in the SCTP association.The solution proposed, which is here called PA-SCTP (Proactive Adaptive SCTP), aimsto make use of multi-homing, considering the needs of applications with an adaptive and proactive behaviour. To demonstrate the gain of performance with the use of the PA-SCTP, graphics related to the delay, the average delay, the variation of the transmission window(CWND) and flow rate were used in a comparative way with the graphics generated byDefault-SCTP (SCTP with values configurable parameters suggested by RFC 4960), SCTP Parametrized (SCTP with values of configurable parameters most sensitive to the condition of the way transmission) and R-SCTP (solution proposed by Kim et al. [1] which aims to optimize the protocol SCTP in decisions to change the transmission path of data packets. The PA-SCTP operates as an auxiliary module in SCTP-based end-to-end communication,which computes the information refering to the stop of receiving packets, peak delay,average delay and variation of the transmission window (CWND) . Through this monitoring of the communication by the client, the PA-SCTP will dictate the best time to make the switch the transmission path, that is, less damage to the application.

The innovative model of management has been tried in the Court's Special Civil Court of the District of Jaru in Rondonia, where they sought a logicallegal routine to the procedure flow, without any loss of quality, and in total harmony with the postulates of the normative of the Special Civil Court and the constitutional rules prescribed.

From this perspective, the proactive behavior has acted as one of the most critical determinant for the organizational success. The proactive behavior is defined as a set of non-formal behaviors that allow the workers to spontaneously search for changes in the work environment, looking forward to solutions and aiming to long term goals that provide benefits to the company. Literature points to the fact that personal values are strongly connected to the behavior. However, up to the moment, little has been investigated regarding the relation between personal values as the antecedent of the proactive behavior in the organizational environment. This study aimed to investigate the relation between personal values and its impact on the proactive behavior in organizations. It is characterized as a descriptive and transversal research. Some instruments were used as measurement tools, such as the Personal Values Questionnaire (PVQ) already validated and the scale of Proactive Behavior in Organizations (ECPO), which has been developed, used and validated in this study. The ECPO presented good levels of reliability, being nominated to be used in researches and organizational diagnosis. Those two scales were answered by a sample of 369 workers. After eliminating extreme cases, the sample was constituted of 325 employees. The linear regression analysis showed that values predict the proactive behavior, and the most significant motivational type is Stimulation. However, the impact of the values over the proactive behavior was low, justifying only 6.7% of the behavior. This low prediction may indicate the existence of variable mediators that affect the impact of the values on the behavior. The implications and limitations of this research are argued in this work. / Pesquisas sobre proatividade ganharam força nos últimos quinze anos por conta do aumento da competitividade e complexidade da economia global. Nesse contexto, o comportamento proativo tem se mostrado um dos determinantes mais críticos para o sucesso organizacional. O comportamento proativo é definido como sendo um conjunto de comportamentos extrapapel em que o trabalhador busca espontaneamente por mudanças no seu ambiente de trabalho, solucionando e antecipando-se aos problemas, visando metas de longo prazo que beneficiam a organização. A literatura aponta para o fato de que os valores pessoais possuem forte relação com o comportamento. Entretanto, até o momento, pouco foi investigado a respeito da relação entre os valores pessoais como antecedentes do comportamento proativo no ambiente organizacional. Este estudo buscou investigar a relação entre os valores pessoais e seu impacto sobre o comportamento proativo nas organizações. Este trabalho caracteriza-se por ser uma pesquisa, descritiva e transversal. Foram utilizados como instrumentos de medida o Personal Values Questionaire (PVQ) já validado, e a escala de Comportamento Proativo nas Organizações (ECPO) que foi desenvolvida e validada neste estudo. O ECPO apresentou bons índices de confiabilidade, sendo indicado para utilização em pesquisas e diagnóstico organizacional. As duas escalas foram respondidas por uma amostra de 369 trabalhadores. Após eliminação dos casos extremos, a amostra ficou constituída por 325 funcionários. A análise de regressão linear mostrou que os valores predizem o comportamento proativo, e o tipo motivacional mais significativamente relacionado foi o tipo Estimulação. Entretanto, o impacto dos valores sobre o comportamento proativo foi baixo, explicando apenas 6,7% do comportamento. Essa baixa predição talvez indique a existência de variáveis moderadoras que afetam o impacto dos valores sobre o comportamento. As implicações e limitações dessa pesquisa são discutidas no trabalho.

The reasonable duration of the process incorporated in the Brazilian legislation since 1992 with the promulgation of the Pact of San Jose in Costa Rica reached a status of fundamental right with the Constitutional Amendment No. 45 as of 2004 (article 5, LXXVIII of the Federal Constitution). Thus, since the 1990s, the legislative changes have become frequent, especially in the Civil Procedure Code, aiming to ensure the claimants the complete, concrete and satisfactory implementation of law within a reasonable period. In addition to the judicial assistance within a reasonable time, the judicial protection must be effective and not limited to the statement of the law. It is in this context that it is proposed that the judge act in a proactive way in conducting the proceeding, acting as a manager. In this sense, both the constitutional principles and the procedure principles that guide the activity of the judge and the proceeding must be interpreted from the standpoint of the effectiveness of the duration of the proceeding within a reasonable period. Therefore, this research aims to study the action of the judge towards the implementation of the constitutional provision of the reasonable duration of the process, analyzing not only the aspects related to the topic but also indicating certain actions that are expected from the judges in order to observe the constitutional purpose in question. However, this is not a final word on the subject, but just certain ideas to achieve a process with a reasonable duration / ativismo judicial, por meio da atuação proativa dos magistrados, apresenta-se necessário para a concretização da cláusula constitucional da duração razoável do processo. A duração razoável do processo incorporada no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro desde 1992 com a promulgação do Pacto San José da Costa Rica alcançou status de direito fundamental com a Emenda Constitucional nº45 de 2004 (art.5º LXXVIII da Constituição Federal). Assim, desde a década de 1990, são frequentes as alterações legislativas, especialmente no Código de Processo Civil, com o objetivo de assegurar ao jurisdicionado a realização completa, concreta e satisfatória do direito, em prazo razoável. Além da prestação jurisdicional em um prazo razoável, a tutela jurisdicional deve ser efetiva, não podendo se limitar apenas à declaração do direito. É neste contexto que se propõe que o julgador atue de forma proativa na condução do processo, agindo como um gestor. Nesse sentido, tanto os princípios constitucionais quanto os princípios processuais que norteiam a atividade do juiz e o processo precisam ser interpretados sob o aspecto da efetividade do processo em prazo razoável. Desse modo, esta pesquisa objetiva estudar a atuação do juiz em prol da concretização da cláusula constitucional da duração razoável do processo, analisando não apenas os institutos relacionados ao tema, mas também, indicando algumas ações esperadas dos magistrados para que a finalidade constitucional em questão seja respeitada. Não se trata, porém, de uma palavra final sobre o tema, mas apenas de algumas ideias para se alcançar um processo com duração razoável de tramitação

[pt] Sistemas de posicionamento, combinados com tecnologias de comunicação de baixo custo, abrem possibilidades interessantes para implementar aplicações em tempo real que monitoram objetos móveis e que apoiam sistemas de tomada de decisão. Inicialmente, esta dissertação discute requisitos básicos para aplicações proativas de monitoramento em tempo real. Em seguida, propõe uma arquitetura para aplicações proativas que monitoram objetos móveis, explorando a semântica da trajetória e a dinâmica do ambiente. Por fim, fornece um exemplo sobre como uma aplicação que monitora uma frota de caminhões pode se tornar proativa, utilizando notícias sobre condições da malha viária, a partir da publicação de dados em texto não estruturado através da Internet. A dissertação descreve como estruturar e georreferenciar as notícias, utilizando serviços de geocodificação. / [en] Positioning systems, combined with inexpensive communication technologies, open interesting possibilities to implement real-time applications that monitor moving objects and that support decision making. This dissertation first discusses basic requirements for proactive real-time monitoring applications. Then, it proposes an architecture to deploy applications that monitor moving objects, are pro-active, explore trajectory semantics and are sensitive to environment dynamics. Lastly, this dissertation provides an example of how an application that monitors a fleet of trucks can become proactive, using unstructured text information available on Internet focused on road conditions change. The dissertation describes how to structure and geo-reference the text, using available geocoding services.

A partir do conceito de Protagonismo Feminino Proativo, considera-se uma protagonista feminina aquela que participa ativamente da trama, desempenhando ou n?o papel de lideran?a, representada de forma equivalente aos protagonistas masculinos, exercendo influ?ncia e relev?ncia nos acontecimentos da narrativa. O recorte escolhido foi o universo da fic??o cient?fica, no qual o g?nero dist?pico est? em evid?ncia nas produ??es audiovisuais. Utiliza como objetos de an?lise os filmes Jogos Vorazes (2012); Em Chamas (2013); A esperan?a: Parte 1 (2014); A esperan?a: o final (2015). Para analisar o arco narrativo dessa distopia, recorre ao esquema adaptado por Vogler (2015) da Jornada do Her?i, de Joseph Campbell. Na an?lise da protagonista Katniss, contextualiza a forma??o da identidade com base em Castells (2013) e Butler (2016), utilizando o m?todo an?lise de conte?do, que investiga os fen?menos simb?licos por meio da codifica??o e da categoriza??o. O procedimento adotado ? o estudo de caso, tendo por base os Estudos Narrativos (estudos da m?dia) e os estudos feministas a fim de identificar estruturas, elementos e similaridades nas pe?as audiovisuais analisadas. Como t?cnica de coleta de dados, a partir da perspectiva dos estudos feministas, apresenta a compila??o de dados colhidos por meio de entrevistas, visando identificar percep??es de diferentes p?blicos sobre o objeto emp?rico (Jogos Vorazes), gerando 1119 entrevistas. Os resultados apontam diverg?ncias sobre a presen?a do protagonismo feminino no audiovisual percebido por homens e mulheres, assim como as principais caracter?sticas positivas e negativas percebidas pelo p?blico. A diverg?ncia entre os olhares masculinos e femininos sobre a mulher mediada evidencia o desequil?brio nas representa??es de g?nero do audiovisual. / The present study aims to develop a model of analysis of female protagonism in audiovisual narratives. The model intends to identify the presence of proactive female protagonism and its performance within the narrative. Based on the concept of Proactive Feminine Protagonism, the female protagonist is an active participant in the plot, playing or not a leadership role, represented in an equivalent way to the male protagonists, and exerting influence and relevance in the events of the narrative. The chosen cut was the universe of science fiction, in which the dystopic genre is evidenced in the audiovisual productions. The films Hunger Games (2012) are used as analysis objects; Catching Fire (2013); The Hope: Part 1 (2014); The hope: the end (2015). To analyze the narrative arc of these dystopias, we use the scheme adapted by Vogler (2015) from Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey. In the analysis of the protagonist Katniss (Hunger Games); contextualizes the formation of identity based on Castells (2013) and Butler (2016). Using the content analysis method, it investigates symbolic phenomena through coding and categorization. The procedure adopted is the case study, A through Narrative Studies (in the media) and the feminist studies to identify structures, elements and similarities in the analyzed audiovisual pieces. As a data collection technique, from the perspective of feminist studies, it presents the compilation of data collected through interviews, aiming to identify perceptions of different publics about the empirical object (Voracious Games), generating 1119 interviews. The results point to divergences about the presence of female protagonism in the audiovisual perceived by men and women, as well as the main positive and negative characteristics perceived by the public. The divergence between the masculine and feminine looks on the mediated woman evidences the imbalance in the representations of gender of the audiovisual.
