The main objective of this thesis is the analysis of a specific product from a marketing perspective in selected company. A partial objective is to determine the position of the product as a marketing tool in the marketing politics of company. The aim is to describe and analyze a product of company on the basis of the product life cycle, when it will be clear, how the company cares about customers and how it satisfies their needs in the different phases of the product life cycle. This thesis is processed on company LAMIVEX s. r. o., doing business in serial and custom production of furniture from laminate. The company has a residence in Strakonice and boasts a long tradition. In the application part is introduced the selected company LAMIVEX s. r. o., when it is described company´s history, scope of business, customers, competitors, implemented contract etc. From a marketing portfolio was selected the specific product (Wardrobe LA 02), which was analyzed on the basis of the product life cycle. The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is devoted to the concepts and causes of food problem in general. In the practical part was given the social, geographic and economic characteristics of Latin America. Also was analysed the food problem in Latin America and were made suggests how to improve the food problem in this region. Currently, the food problem is a very hot topic in the world as well as in some regions. Hunger and poverty are socio-economic problems, which combine with the food problem. There are many different causes of food problem. All causes can be separated into two groups: causes related to human activity and unrelated. The main causes associated with human activities are causes of population, poverty, religious causes, political conflicts, and the causes associated with nature: global warming and soil degradation. Natural causes unrelated to human activity have the primary influence on agricultural production. Various natural disasters and climate change can not be affected by people. In order to solve the food problem requires the intervention of international organizations for providing financial and food assistance to those affected countries. A major role in the solution this issue plays mutual cooperation between countries around the world.

Role regionálního produktu v regionálním rozvoji / Role of regional product in regional development

The aim of this work is proposal of possibilities how to use regional products for regional development, to strengthen togetherness and cohesion with the given region together with an emphasis on identity and cultural heritage. This work compares regional products in two specific areas of different countries , Klatovsko in the Czech Republic and the Pays du Revermont in France. The work characterizes a particular environment, the role of regional organizations, the definition of quality, certification of origen and labeling local traditional foods. A quantitative and qualitative survey shows that interest in traditional product by consumers is high and obvious connection between the consumer, regional product and particular region. National pride and the importance of protecting of cultural heritage has showed to be one of the priorities of our epoch. The results of this work eneble practical utility. They can be useful information and base for municipality of city on issues of other development of the region and cooperation in various areas within the national and international level.

Dopady Světové finanční krize 2008 na střední a východní Evropu / Impact of the Financial Crisis of 2008 on Central and Eastern Europe

This dissertation deals with the development of the economies of Central and East Europe, which are also the new EU members. States, in the sequel of the global financial and economic crisis. In the theoretical part of, among other things, there is the issue of financial system crisis and subsequent economic recession, whic brouhgt long-term economic stagnation, substantial losses in production, consumption, investments, and foreign trade. The main dissertation shows, partly the situation in selected states of Central and East Europe before and during global financial and economic crisis, on the other, this dissertation is monitoring existing course according to basic macroeconomic characteristics of selected countries in this region. The result is a capture, valorization and subsequent summary of the macroeconomic characteristics, the analysis of Eurostat data and UNCTAD, showed the differencies between impact of financial and economy crisis on selected countries in Central and East Europe. According to the obtained data, which were analysed before 2014, it can not be said, that the economic recovery of selected countries was strong enough in order to keep all the values of macroeconomic indicators which were at levels that these countries reached before financial and economy crisis.

The aim of this diploma thesis is a marketing study of a selected subject. Selected subject is Availpro company, which is focusing on developing and selling software solutions that are facilitating the work of hotel´s management. The main study goal is to provide suggestion that could enhance and improve the Availpro marketing processes. The study is divided into two parts. The first part is the analysis of theoretical information. This information was taken from literature and serves as a necessary foundation to understand the discussed issues. This thesis describes various marketing processes, activities and tools that are nowadays essential for any kind of business. The second part of the study is based on analysis of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from a marketing survey, which aimed at customer satisfaction with Availpro products and services. Secondary data were obtained from internal resources and also from communication with representatives of marketing department. The results from mentioned analysis allowed to formulate some suggestions and recommendation that should lead to improvement of Availpro marketing activities.
