The current Czech curriculum reforms facilitate the growing pedagogical autonomy of schools and thus bring about more demanding requirements relating to the professionalism of teachers. Having introduced the Framework Educational Programme for Basic School teachers, together with their school management and indirectly in cooperation with the school council they have become not only creators of the school curriculum (the School Educational Programme) but also its (auto) evaluators. How to define the term evaluation within the context of the teacher profession, still respecting the research domain of educational sciences, at the same time? How to specify the professional research activities of a teacher without downgrading the prestige of researchers-scientists in the area of educational sciences? How to guarantee so that teachers could become bearers of changes and co-creators of knowledge of educational reality, thus participating in the desirable change of the teacher profession status? Syndrom vyhoření / Burnout SyndromeNováková, Ivana January 2016 (has links)
The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical definition of the term burnout syndrome. The most threatened people by the burnout are those who have been engaged in some activity for a long time, especially, those who works in the so-called helping professions i.e. health professionals, health visitors taking care of the elderly and chronically ill, social workers, teachers, psychologists and others. Another part deals with the history, symptoms, the course and also prevention and treatment options of the burnout syndrome. The theoretical part also clarifies stress as a trigger of the burnout. The knowledge gained and summarized in the theoretical part was used during the processing of the empirical part. The empirical part is based on the method of a quantitative research. Originally, it was intended to conduct a qualitative research among social workers and medical staff working at Homecare Domažlice. The homecare institution in Domažlice involve only 33 workers. The Aftercare Centre Motol with its 30 employees was added to the experiment to get higher amount of respondents and to compare the incidence of the burnout syndrome between professionals working at hospital and those who work outside of it. The discussion and conclusion summarize the facts and results and suggest a possible solution.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic that is common for all workers, the workplace stress. The aim of this study is to find out the level of stress in a specific job. In the theoretical part the author discusses not only the term stress but he also mentions its phases including the burnout syndrome. He mentions many authors that describe and deal with this topic.
The empirical part is focused on the research. It contains evaluation of results that were collected by questionnaire. The final results are presented in well-arranged commented graphs and they are source for testing hypothesis about the chosen variables. The final results are discussed in the discussion part and at the end of the thesis.

Main topic of this thesis is psychological stress of an actor during his performance. Thesis describes psychological stress in general, shows categorization, determines its causes and reactions of body exposed to stress during long and short timeload. Special attention is dedicated to stress management (coping) and to mechanics of its intervention and prevention. Stressing working conditions and actors personality traits that can reduce or increase stress are researched on this theoretical background. Some of most casual stress phenomena are analyzed. Also reflection of the nature and importance of stress in acting is presented.
