"Kdo jsem?" AIDA hodnocení vývoje identity v adolescenci / "Who am I?" AIDA Assessment of Identity Development in Adolescence

Šimečková, Petra January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the development of identity in adolescence, especially the differentiation between the disharmonic and harmonious development. The main focus was the translation and cultural adaptation as well as the testing of the foreign self-report questionnaire AIDA (Assessment of Identity Development in Adolescence), which was accompanied by another research method - an open question asking the respondents for self- description. The AIDA questionnaire is aimed at detecting and recognition of the dangers of identity development in adolescence. One of the chief goals of the thesis is also checking the psychometric properties of these methods and their comparison. Among other determinants, age groups (11-18 years) and sex, or, gender of the respondents were taken into account. In 2012 Goth, Foelsch, Schlüter-Müller and Schmeck introduced the reliable and valid self-report questionnaire AIDA (Assessment of Identity Development in Adolescence), to assess pathology-related identity development in healthy and disturbed adolescents. The culture-adequate formulations for every original item were developed in a series of beta-tests, pilot tests, and a main testing to establish the Czech version of AIDA. Specific cultural idioms and culture-specific aspects were considered. During the main testing,...

Škála pro měření generativity - tvorba a ověření psychometrických charakteristik / Scale for measuring generativity- construction and verification of psychometric properties

Faberová, Karolína January 2020 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to construct a generativity scale and verify its psychometric properties within the Czech environment. We focus on both the theoretical foundations of generativity as well as the tools of its measurement. While these measures already exist, they do not sufficiently correspond with the context of the Czech environment. The constructed scale focuses on 7 areas of generativity and is based on some already existing tools, namely the LGS and GBC. Furthermore, using a content analysis of 150 interviews of participants between the ages of 50 and 60 years and considering the already existing tools, we created a 31-item scale which we further reduced to 24 items in the traditional item analysis. The overall achieved Cronbach's α value of 0.803 with a 95% confidence interval (0.766-0.835) is satisfactory. We conclude that the thesis has fulfilled the requirements of a pilot study and provides opportunities for subsequent research.

Deprese a Beckova škála deprese: Normativní studie české verze a srovnání se zahraničními daty / Depression and the Beck Depression Inventory: Normative Study of the Czech Version and Comparison with Foreign Data

Čihařová, Markéta January 2017 (has links)
The thesis is dealing with the topic of depression and measurement instruments, which may contribute to its diagnostics and assessment. Special attention is dedicated to the Beck Depression Inventory, second edition, and the aim of this thesis is to provide normative data acquired from a large sample of healthy adult participants coming from the Czech Republic (N = 450; aged 18 to 96 years). The Beck Depression Inventory, second edition (BDI-II; Beck, Steer, & Brown, 1996) belongs among the most famous and most often used measures of depression severity. A significant relationship was found between the BDI-II total score and gender and education level, but not age. Women tended to score significantly higher than men on average, and a negative correlation between the BDI-II total score and education was found. Therefore, the normative data were analysed and stratified according to these two demographic variables. Tables, presenting means, standard deviations, percentiles and standard scores are provided for the total unstratified sample as well as for demographically defined subgroups. In addition, internal consistency of the Czech version was high (alpha above .80). The item-total correlations, and factorial structure of the instrument were investigated and the results were compared with results...

Validizace Škály nepřipoutanosti k Já (NTS-CZ) na českém vzorku / The Validation of The Nonattachment to Self Scale (NTS-CZ) on the Czech Sample

Valtrová, Markéta January 2021 (has links)
This diploma thesis presents a new concept of nonattachment to self. The theoretical part consists of the introduction of a different conceptualization of the self in Western and Buddhist psychology and describes the historical background of nonattachment. It further describes the concept of nonattachment, on which the concept of nonattachment to self is based. This concept is further introduced in relation to self-related processes and its possible impact on mental health. The last chapter presents Czech and foreign scales measuring nonattachment (NAS, NAS-30-CZ, NAS-SF, NAS-SF-CZ) and nonattachment to self (NTS, NTS-CZ). The aim of the empirical part of the work was to perform a validation study of the Scale of Nonattachment to Self (NTS-CZ) on a Czech sample to verify its psychometric properties. A total of 125 respondents were administered an online questionnaire battery, which consisted of a total of 8 questionnaires: Nonattachment to Self Scale (NTS-CZ), Nonattachment Scale-Short Form (NAS-SF-CZ), Self-Compassion Scale (SCS-CZ), Patients Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire, Short Form (FFMQ-15-CZ), Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale-SF (DERS-SF-CZ) and Life Satisfaction Scale (SWLS-CZ). Overall, the scale showed...

Ověření konvergentní a diskriminační validity české verze dotazníku Self-compassion Scale. / Verification of convergent and discriminant validity of Self-compassion Scale (Czech version).

Reichová, Anna January 2016 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the concept of self-compassion - a healthy attitude toward oneself which could be more easily attainable than unconditional self-acceptance and have less downsides than self-esteem. The first part of the thesis offers the most widely used conceptualisation of self-compassion, a comparison between self-compassion, self-esteem and unconditional self-acceptance, a summary of application areas of self-compassion, a list of relevant psychometric tools and a description of the Czech translation of the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS-CZ). The second part of the thesis consists of a quantitative study designed to further assess the construct validity of the SCS-CZ using the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II), the trait form of the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI X2) and the Unconditional Positive Self-Regard Scale (UPSRS) and to explore the connection between self-compassion and unconditional positive self-regard. A battery of web-based inventories was administered to a non-clinical sample (n = 415). The SCS-CZ shows a strong negative correlation with the BDI-II and the STAI X2, and a strong positive correlation with the UPSRS. The SCS-CZ is a valid measure of self-compasssion, suitable for comparing groups and population samples. For drawing conclusions about individuals, it is...
