Milena Jesenská a její tvorba v Lidových novinách a Přítomnosti / Milena Jesenská and her work for Lidové noviny and Přítomnost

Němečková, Sára January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the journalistic works of Milena Jesenská not only in Lidové noviny but also in the magazine Přítomnost in 1929 - 1930, resp. in 1937 - 1939. In her works we can find a number of repetitive topics. Most of them have in large part roots in her life. Her literaty output is permanently penetrated by her permanent need to help her surroundings and to protect her weaker residents, which is according to author's biographers for Milena Jesenská sheer crucial. The author stood in the years 1929 - 1930 as the head of women's section of Lidové noviny and was trying very hardly to fight for the change of the form of this section in the print at that time. Another significant topic was the issue of a modern woman and her role in the society at that time. The thesis deals also with the resonance of social relations and historic events in the examined texts. Politically tuned reflections or reports and reportage by Milena Jesenská in the magazine Přítomnost bring an authentic perspective to the atmosphere in the Czechoslovak society at that time.

The main topic of dissertation named "Case Radovan Krejčíř - from reality and newspaper/TV news to book and film cover and film critique" is person of Radovan Krejčíř, one of the biggest Czech criminals in the history of the country. A controversial billionaire was caught up in many criminal cases already in nineties, and not only in Czech Republic. In South Africa in 2013, he was arrested and subsequently sentenced to 35 years in prison. However, the case is not yet completely closed, because there are some other Krejčíř's South African cases, that the judge's decisions are still pending. Life story of Radovan Krejčíř inspired investigative journalist and publicist Jaroslav Kmenta to write book trilogy Padrino Krejčíř (African - 2014, Gangster - 2015 and Shark - 2016) and director Jan Pachl to make a two movies (Gangster Ka and Gangster Ka: African - both 2015). Česká hudební publicistika zaměřená na rockovou hudbu v období normalizace / Czech music journalism focused on rock music during the period of normalization

Husák, Martin January 2012 (has links)
The thesis "Czech music journalism focused on rock music during the period of normalization" reflects the position and importance of Czech rock music journalism within the structure and development of normalization of the media system. It is brought back through the oral historical research based on authentic evidence of their protagonists. It defines the initial prerequisites (ideological, political and socio-cultural) which are important to understand the circumstances under which rock music could be created and developed into an institution. It all depended on the confrontational attitude of communist power towards rock music generally. The next methodic element how to fulfill the defined goals is descriptive and comparative perspective. On this basis there is confronted official and samizdat's area of magazine production on the example of chosen periodicals. There also belong other qualitative aspects of music journalism (personalization, professionalization and every day editorial job). At the end the accepted conclusions are supported by the analysis and interpretation of chosen cultural and music events. They are divided by the method of their media coverage from official and samizdat periodicals.
