Nesse sentido, este trabalho teve como objetivo adequar as metodologias dos testes de envelhecimento acelerado, condutividade el?trica e lixivia??o de pot?ssio para a avalia??o do vigor de sementes de Moringa oleifera LAM.. Para tanto, quatro lotes de sementes foram submetidos aos testes de germina??o, emerg?ncia de pl?ntula, ?ndice de velocidade de emerg?ncia, primeira contagem de emerg?ncia, comprimento e massa seca de pl?ntulas e teste frio, para a sua caracteriza??o fisiol?gica, al?m dos testes de envelhecimento acelerado, condutividade el?trica e lixivia??o de pot?ssio. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o inteiramente casualizado, com quatro repeti??es de 50 sementes, e as m?dias comparadas pelo teste de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade, sendo realizada a an?lise de regress?o polinomial no teste de condutividade el?trica. Para o teste de envelhecimento acelerado, foram estudados os per?odos de envelhecimento de 12, 24 e 72 horas, a 40, 42 e 45 ?C. Para o teste de condutividade el?trica, utilizou-se a temperatura de 25 ?C por per?odos de 4, 8, 12, 16 e 24 horas de imers?o, em 75 e 125 mL de ?gua destilada, utilizando-se 25 e 50 sementes e, para o teste de lixivia??o de pot?ssio, utilizou-se amostras de 25 e 50 sementes, colocadas em copos pl?sticos contendo 70 e 100 mL de ?gua destilada ? 25 ?C por per?odos de 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 e 6 horas. A partir dos resultados obtidos, pode-se inferir que as metodologias que melhor se ajustaram para o teste de envelhecimento acelerado em sementes de moringa foram a temperatura de 40 ?C por 12 e 72 horas, 42 ?C a 72 horas e 45 ?C a 24 horas. Para o teste de condutividade el?trica em sementes de moringa, a combina??o de 50 sementes em 75 mL de ?gua destilada por per?odo de embebi??o de 4 horas e, 50 sementes em 125 ml por 4 horas foram eficiente para a diferencia??o dos lotes de sementes de moringa quanto ao vigor e, para o teste de lixivia??o de pot?ssio em sementes de moringa, a combina??o de 50 sementes /100 mL de ?gua destilada permitiu a separa??o dos lotes em quatro n?veis de vigor, a partir de 2 horas de imers?o, mostrando-se promissor na avalia??o da qualidade de sementes de moringa. / The evaluation of seed vigor is an important factor for detection of lots of high quality seeds, so that development of procedures to evaluate the physiological potential has been an important tool in quality control programs seeds. In this sense the study aimed to adapt the methodologies of accelerated aging, electrical conductivity and potassium leaching to evaluate Moringa oleifera seed vigor LAM.. Therefore, four lots of moringa seeds were subjected to the germination tests, seedling emergence, speed of emergence index, emergence first count, length and dry mass of seedlings and cold test for their physiological characterization, in addition to accelerated aging, electrical conductivity and potassium leaching. The experimental design was completely randomized with four replications of 50 seeds and the means compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. For accelerated aging the periods were studied aging 12, 24 and 72 hours at 40, 42 and 45?C. For the electrical conductivity test was used to a temperature of 25?C for periods of 4, 8, 12, 16 and 24 hours of immersion in 75 to 125 mL of distilled water, using 25 to 50 seeds, and for potassium leaching test samples were used 25 to 50 seeds, placed in plastic cups containing 70 and 100 mL of distilled water at 25?C for periods of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 hours. From the results obtained, it can be inferred that the methods best fit for the accelerated aging test Moringa seeds were a temperature of 40?C for 12 to 72 hours, 42?C 72 hours 45?C 24 hours . In the electrical conductivity test Moringa seeds, the combination of 50 seeds in 75 mL distilled water for a period of immersion of 4 hours and 50 seeds in 125 mL of 4 hours were efficient for the differentiation of lots of Moringa seeds as to vigor and for potassium leaching test moringa seeds, the combination of 50 seeds in 100mL of distilled water allowed the separation of lots of four levels of vigor, at 2 hours of immersion, showing promise in evaluate the quality of moringa seeds.

The Jatropha curcas has shown potential to represent an important supplier of raw materials. However, there is little information about the culture, which highlights the need for caution on the part of producers. This study aims to adjust the methodology for accelerated aging and electrical conductivity to assess the effect of Jatropha seeds and the germination and seed vigor of primed Jatropha curcas under different water potentials of the substrate, and establishment of seedlings in the greenhouse. For definition of methodologies for testing vigour (first experiment), the experimental design was completely randomized design with four replications. Five lots were tested for electrical conductivity at 12, 24, 36 and 48 hours and the accelerated aging test at 41 ?C for 48 and 72 hours, with or without the saturated NaCL. To evaluate the priming technique (second experiment) the experimental design was the triple factorial (5 lots x 2 treatments x 4 conditioning potentials of germinating) with four replicates for germination tests. And, for tests of vigour was used the double factorial (5 x 2 lots of conditioning treatments). The seeds of the five lots were submitted or not to priming at 20 ? C for 144 hours, with subsequent drying at 32 ?C. For each lot, under substrate water potential of zero, -0.2, -0.4, -0.6 MPa, was tested for germination and the percentage of normal seedlings in the first count. Also, other vigor tests were installed (seedling length, seedling emergence in sand). For the evaluation of seedling emergence under greenhouse conditions, the height, stem diameter and leaf number were evaluated at 10, 20, 30 and 40 days after sowing. It can be observed that the seeds with levels near 50% of water present primary root emission after 192 hours of soaking. The Pre-hydration promotes the synchronization of the germination process and mainly favors the seed germination vigor. In greenhouse conditions, pre-hydration of seeds favors the survival of plants and these have increased the number of leaves at 20 and 30 days after the installation. The accelerated aging and electrical conductivity undertaken jointly in the routine, allow the classification of seed lots of Jatropha. / O Programa Nacional de Produ??o e Uso do Biodiesel, do governo federal, vem estimulando por meio de pol?ticas p?blicas a produ??o de mat?ria prima para suprir a demanda por biodiesel. O pinh?o manso (Jatropha curcas L.) tem apresentado potencial podendo representar importante fornecedora de mat?ria prima. Contudo, ainda existem menos informa??es a respeito da cultura, o que evidencia a necessidade de cautela por parte dos produtores Este trabalho tem por objetivo ajustar metodologias para os testes de envelhecimento acelerado e de condutividade el?trica para avalia??o do vigor de sementes de pinh?o manso, bem como avaliar a germina??o e o vigor de sementes condicionadas de pinh?o manso sob diferentes potenciais h?dricos do substrato, e o estabelecimento destas mudas em casa de vegeta??o. Para defini??o de metodologias para testes de vigor (primeiro experimento), o delineamento experimental adotado foi inteiramente casualizado, com quatro repeti??es. Cinco lotes foram submetidos ao teste de condutividade el?trica durante 12, 24, 36 e 48 horas e ao teste de envelhecimento acelerado a 41?C durante 48 e 72 horas, usando ou n?o a solu??o saturada de NaCl. Para avalia??o da t?cnica de condicionamento (segundo experimento), o delineamento experimental utilizado foi o fatorial triplo (5 lotes x 2 tratamentos de condicionamento x 4 potenciais h?dricos de substrato de germina??o), com quatro repeti??es para os testes de germina??o. E, para os testes de vigor foi utilizado o fatorial duplo (5 lotes x 2 tratamentos de condicionamento). As sementes dos cinco lotes foram submetidas ou n?o ao condicionamento a 20?C durante 144 horas, com posterior secagem a 32 ?C. Por lote, sob potenciais h?dricos do substrato de zero, -0,2; -0,4; -0,6 MPa, foi avaliada a germina??o e a porcentagem de pl?ntulas normais na primeira contagem. Tamb?m, foram instalados outros testes de vigor (comprimento de pl?ntulas, emerg?ncia de pl?ntula em areia, ?ndice de velocidade de emerg?ncia de pl?ntulas e avalia??o de mudas). Para a avalia??o da emerg?ncia de pl?ntulas em casa de vegeta??o, foi avaliada a altura, o di?metro de caule e o n?mero de folhas, aos 10, 20, 30 e 40 dias ap?s a semeadura. Pode-se observar que as sementes com teores pr?ximos a 50% de ?gua apresentam emiss?o de raiz primaria ap?s 192 horas de embebi??o. A pr?-hidrata??o promove a sincroniza??o do processo de germina??o e favorece principalmente o vigor das sementes. Em condi??es de casa de vegeta??o, a pr?-hidrata??o das sementes favorece a sobreviv?ncia das plantas e estas apresentam aumento do n?mero de folhas aos 20 e 30 dias ap?s a instala??o. Os testes de envelhecimento acelerado e de condutividade el?trica, realizados em conjunto na rotina, possibilitam a classifica??o de lotes de sementes de pinh?o manso.

For this were installed six experiments. The results showed that the accelerated aging test and controlled deterioration were efficient to classification the sunflowers achenes lots. Under adverse conditions, the achene vigour evaluated by accelerated aging, controlled deterioration and electrical condutivity presented a higher correlation with sunflower plant emergence in field. Sunflower achene vigour improved the development of plants beyond 60 DAS and this effect may persist until the final production, at initial population ausence. Plants originated from smaller achenes vigour showed the lower total dry matter and leaf area index to 80 and 100 DAS, as well as lower culture growth rate in the period from 60 to 100 DAS. The plants conducted under the lower density had higher total dry matter and leaf area index at 40 and 60 DAS, as well as higher culture growth rate and relative growth rate in the period from 20 to 40 DAS. To the 60 days, at flowering high accumulation of dry mater, N, P K and Ca in stem, leaves and total at density of 45,000 seeds.ha-1. The sunflower achenes oil yield and dry mater and nutrients harvest index not affected by the achenes vigour and sowing density to / Os objetivos do trabalho foram de analisar a efici?ncia dos testes de envelhecimento acelerado e deteriora??o controlada na avalia??o do vigor de lotes de aqu?nios de girassol; correlacionar os resultados dos testes conduzidos no laborat?rio com a emerg?ncia das pl?ntulas de girassol em campo; avaliar a influ?ncia do vigor de aqu?nios de girassol no estabelecimento das pl?ntulas e no desempenho das plantas; verificar a influ?ncia do vigor dos aqu?nios e da densidade de semeadura no crescimento de plantas de girassol; avaliar o efeito do vigor dos aqu?nios e da densidade de semeadura no ac?mulo de nutrientes e no rendimento de ?leo em plantas de girassol. Para isto foram instalados seis experimentos. Os resultados permitiram concluir que os testes de envelhecimento acelerado e de deteriora??o controlada foram eficientes para classificar os lotes de aqu?nios de girassol. Em condi??es adversas, a emerg?ncia das pl?ntulas de girassol em campo apresentou maior correla??o com os testes de envelhecimento acelerado, de deteriora??o controlada e de condutividade el?trica. A utiliza??o de aqu?nios vigorosos de girassol foi favor?vel ao desenvolvimento das plantas ap?s 60 DAS e esse efeito persistiu at? a produ??o, na aus?ncia de diferen?a na popula??o inicial. A utiliza??o de aqu?nios de menor vigor produziu plantas com menor massa de mat?ria seca total e ?ndice de ?rea foliar aos 80 e 100 DAS, o que proporciona menor taxa de crescimento da cultura no per?odo de 60 a 100 DAS. Sob menor densidade, as plantas produzem maior massa de mat?ria seca total e ?ndice de ?rea foliar aos 40 e 60 DAS, o que proporciona maior taxa de crescimento da cultura e taxa de crescimento relativo no per?odo de 20 a 40 DAS. Aos 60 DAS, entre o florescimento e o enchimento, ocorreu maior ac?mulo de massa de mat?ria seca e de N, P, K e Ca no caule, nas folhas e total nas plantas de girassol produzidas sob a menor densidade de 45.000 sementes.ha-1. N?o houve efeito do vigor dos aqu?nios e da densidade de semeadura no rendimento de ?leo dos aqu?nios de girassol e nos ?ndices de colheita de massa de mat?ria seca e nutrientes.

The evaluation of vigor by biochemical tests have been an important tool in the control of seed quality programs, and the electrical conductivity and potassium leaching the most efficient in the verifying the physiological potential. The objective, therefore, to adjust the methodology of the electrical conductivity test for seeds of M. caesalpiniaefolia, for then compare the efficiency of this test with the potassium in the evaluation of seed vigor of different lots of seeds M. caesalpiniaefolia. To test the adequacy of the electrical conductivity were used different combinations of temperatures , 25 ?C and 30 ?C, number of seeds , 25 and 50, periods of imbibition , 4 , 8 , 12 , 16 and 24 hours , and volumes deionized water, 50 mL and 75mL. For potassium leaching test, which was conducted from the results achieved by the methodology of the adequacy of the electrical conductivity test, to compare the efficiency of both tests , in the classification of seeds at different levels of vigor, and the period 4 hours also evaluated because the potassium leaching test can be more efficient in the shortest time . The best combination obtained in experiment of electrical conductivity is 25 seeds soaked in 50 mL deionized or distilled water for 8 hours at a temperature of 30 ? C. Data were subjected to analysis of variance, the means were compared with each other by F tests and Tukey at 5 % probability, and when necessary polynomial regression analysis was performed. The electrical conductivity test performed at period eight hour proved to be more efficient in the separation of seed lots M. caesalpiniaefolia at different levels of vigor compared to the potassium test / Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia Benth. ? uma esp?cie florestal pertencente ? fam?lia Mimosaceae, recomendada para recomposi??o de ?reas degradadas. A avalia??o do vigor por meio de testes bioqu?micos tem sido importante ferramenta dentro de programas de controle de qualidade de sementes, sendo os testes de condutividade el?trica e lixivia??o de pot?ssio um dos mais utilizados na verifica??o do potencial fisiol?gico. Objetivou-se, portanto, adequar a metodologia do teste de condutividade el?trica para sementes de M. caesalpiniaefolia, para ent?o comparar a efici?ncia deste teste com o de lixivia??o de pot?ssio na avalia??o de vigor das sementes dos diferentes lotes de M. caesalpiniaefolia. Para o teste de adequa??o da condutividade el?trica foram utilizadas diferentes combina??es de temperaturas, 25 e 30 ?C, de n?mero de sementes, 25 e 50, de per?odos de tempo de embebi??o, 4, 8, 12, 16 e 24 horas, e de volumes de ?gua deionizada, 50 e 75 mL. A melhor combina??o obtida no experimento de adequa??o da condutividade el?trica ? a combina??o de 25 sementes embebidas em 50 mL de ?gua deionizada durante 8 horas a uma temperatura de 30 ?C. Os dados foram submetidos ? an?lise de vari?ncia, as m?dias comparadas entre si pelos testes F e de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade, e quando necess?rio foi realizada an?lise de regress?o polinomial.
