Úroveň užitkových vlastností činčily vlnaté (Chinchilla chinchilla) ve vybraném chovu / The level of utility qualities of Chinchilla chinchilla in the chosen breeding

TUROŇOVÁ, Kamila January 2012 (has links)
The main aim of this bachelor work was the analyzing of reproduction of indicators in private breedings. Furthermore, the growth abilities of chinchillas with colour mutations standard, black velvet and milkiness were appraised too. Altogether data were got from 1292 litters of chinchillas wavy color standard mutation from the period 1999 to 2008. Reproduction charakteristics were evaluated in number of born and weaning the youngs, the length of the interim and the size, weaning index of the litter depending on the order of the litter, the year of the monitoring and the membership of the family. The growth abilities of chinchillas colour mutations standard and black velvet were evaluated according to the order of the litters. Data about development of the live weight were made from data of 25 the youngs - standard colour mutation and 23 the youngs - black velvet mutation. Records of weights were taken place in 2009, on the day of the birth of the young and after every week until the young is 49 days. Data were summarized and statistically processed in MS Excel and Statistica Statsoft version 10. The analysis of reproduction characteristics found out on the average 1.82 the youngs born and 1.52 the youngs weaned with the average length of the interim 202.34 days. There were most often two youngs in the litter. The youngs of standard colour mutation evinced bigger average weight than the youngs of colour mutation black velvet.

Vybrané faktory ovlivňující plodnost plemene zwartbles

STAŇKOVÁ, Dana January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this thesis was evaluate fertlility of the Zwartbles sheep in zhe flock of sheep breed by Mrs. Marie Schickerová. In the reporting period of 5 years (2013 2015) were a total of 429 ewes evaluated by the followinf parameters: fertlization, reproduction intensity, total rearing. Basic reproductive parameters were compared with the flocks originating from the Union sheep and goats of the Czech Republic. They were monitored factors that have or may have an impact on fertility. The first factor was the impact of age on fertility, selected second order lambing and the last was the influence line. The average fertility of the herd reached 197,13%. The average share of fertilization was assessed at 94,01%. Sterility reached the level of 5,99 %. The amount of the total breeding herd stood at 164,67%. Intensity of production reached 185,24 %.. Based on calculations, it was found a hightly significant effect of age and rank lambing fertility. Influence line was not clearly demonstrated. Statistical evaluation of indicators of fertility, the intensity of reproduction, fertilization and overal breeding showed differences in the average monitored herds compared with herds in the performance tests. In the observed herd these values were significantly higher.

Určování rodičovství ve světle aktuálního stavu reprodukční medicíny / Determination of parenthood in the light of the current status of reproductive medicine

Mervartová, Michaela January 2018 (has links)
The topic of the diploma thesis is the determination of parenthood in the light of the current status of reproductive medicine. The importance of reproductive medicine is increasing in contemporary society in connection with the growing number of people suffering from infertility. Many infertile couples who have undergone reproductive medicine treatment have become parents through these methods. The question of legal parenthood in connection with the issue of assisted reproduction is the core part of the diploma thesis. The diploma thesis aims to perform a legal analysis of the determination of parenthood to a child born through assisted conception, to point out possible shortcomings in legal regulation and to recommend legislative amendments from the perspective of de lege ferenda. The first chapter explores effective legal regulation of maternity and paternity determination, defining the fundamental kinds of parenthood, because biological, genetic, social and legal parenthood should not be confused. The second chapter deals with assisted reproduction, which specifically manipulates human gametes. Attention is drawn to international and national legal regulation, including the question of legal parenthood of a child that has been conceived in this way. The next part of the thesis deals with...

Porovnání chovu dvou plemen ovcí chovaných ve stejné oblasti / The comparison of two breed of sheeps reared in the same area

RAABOVÁ, Alena January 2011 (has links)
The comparison of two breed of sheeps reared in the same area. The aim of the master thesis was the evaluation of the level of the reproductive and the productive traits by the two breeds of sheeps in the area of Novohradské Hory Mts. The examination was conducted from 2006 to 2009. The farm recording and the author´s personal observation were both used for the evaluation. The following traits were recorded: insemination, fertility, intensity, lamb rearing, infertility, mortality. The production traits recorded were the weight of the wool and weight gain in 100 days after the birth. The following results (arithmetic means) were obtained: the rate of insemination by the Valaška breed was 94.3 %, fertility 168.4 %, intensity 158.5 % and the lamb rearing 150.2 %. The rate of infertility was 5.9 % and rate of mortality 5.1 %. The average wool weight was 2.21 kg and the weight gain 175.8 g day-1. By the Merinolandschaf breed, the rate of insemination was 87 %, fertility 134.4 %, intensity 116.1 % and the lamb rearing 101.5 %. The rate of infertility was 13.2 % and rate of mortality 8.8 %. The average wool weight was 4.2 kg and the weight gain 236.9 g day-1. The herd A revealed better results as regards the reproduction traits while the herd B revealed better results concerning the production traits. The significant differences between the examined herd of Valaška sheeps and the Czech population were found in the fertility, intensity and the lamb rearing (T test). By the Merinolandschaf herd, the significant differences from the Czech population were found by the weight gains (T test). The significant differences between the two breeds were found in the fertility, intensity and lamb rearing (T test).

Analýza užitkových vlastností brojlerových plemen králíků a jejich hybridního potomstva / Analysis of commercial properties broiler breeds of rabbits and their hybrid offspring

KUŽÍLKOVÁ, Petra January 2011 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis was to analyse growth abilities of hybrids (?Nb x ?Kal) in comparison with original parental population. Further were evaluated reproductive properties of parental breeds of rabbits New Zealand White and Californian and their combination (?Nb x ?Kal). Enter data were gathered in total from 27 litters. Obtained data were summarized and statistically treated in MS Excel programme and STATISTICA version 9. To assess the development of live weight, the rabbits were weighed at 7-day intervals from birth until the end of fattening, it is to the age of 126 days. For the analysis of reproductive abilities was in single females litters observed the number of all born offspring, from that the number of live-born and still-born offspring and the number of weaned offspring. Further, the length of gravidity, the length of season and age at weaning, milkiness and total mortality were observed. The assessment of growth and reproductive abilities was made in dependence on sequence of litter and on the observed calendar year. The results showed higher increases in 60th, 90th and 120th days of age hybrid offspring than a breeds pattern book by paternal population requires. The achievement of high weight gains confirms the suitability of using these hybrids for intensive production of quality dietetic rabbit meat. It was also achieved excellent results in milkiness females in the observed breeding. Its average value was 3965 g, which is comparable with milkiness of broiler breeds in large breedings. Total results confirmed the suitability of using Californian rabbit breeds in a maternal position and the New Zealand White in a paternal position to create commercial hybrids intended for fattening. Their hybrid offspring reach better growth ability than original parental population. Results of this study can be specific recommendation especially for small breeders of meat-type rabbits when choosing a suitable combination of breeds for fattening.

Inkubační strategie vybraných druhů kachen / Incubation strategies of selected duck species

Klvaňa, Petr January 2010 (has links)
- 9 - Incubation strategies of selected duck species Summary of the PhD. thesis Avian incubation is an energetically demanding process. It holds true especially for uniparental incubators in which all incubation efforts are restricted to one individual. All ducks species breeding in northern hemisphere are representatives of birds with uniparental care. High demands of clutch formation and incubation make from ducks perfect model for testing factors influencing parent investment decisions. On the other hand parental investment to actual breeding attempt depends on many factors including breeding season duration, food supply, female's age, risk of predation or resilt of previous nesting attempt. So investigation of this complex problematic is extremely difficult. This thesis is focused on the most important phase of breeding cycle - incubation of clutch. Clutch incubation is associated with high energy cost to maintenance optimal temperature conditions for developing embryos. Morover incubation process can has large effect on female's body mass because of reduction of feeding time. Incubation strategy of success female include many partial tactic reducing predation risk of clutch and incubating female or eggs cooling. The incubation strategies of three ducks species were investigated in this thesis - Mallard...

Reproductive behavior of repatriates from Mongolia and ethnic Kazakhs in Mongolia

Nurpeisova, Kuanysh January 2011 (has links)
Reproductive behaviour of repatriates from Mongolia and ethnic Kazakhs in Mongolia Abstract Differences and commonalities of reproductive behaviour of repatriates from Mongolia and ethnic Kazakhs currently living in Mongolia are the main focus of the submitted doctoral thesis. The data used in this research were obtained from the own sample survey carried out in the framework of the field research conducted during the summer of 2009. The field research has been supported by Charles University in Prague and the JSC "Center for International programs", an administrator of the Bolashak International Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Special attention in the work is paid to behaviour differentials by sex, age, attained educational level, place of residence and actual number of children. The leading intention was to show how migration, through disruption of original social networks and changes in the social environment during the first stage of socialization of the second generation of repatriates, influenced reproductive behaviour of women in particular birth cohorts. Besides, the presented doctoral research tries to answer the questions whether repatriates influence demographic situation in Kazakhstan in required direction by having (traditionally) numerous families or whether they...

Zhodnocení reprodukční výkonnosti a mateřského chování ovcí plemene zwartbles v ČR

Čudan, František January 2018 (has links)
Submitted thesis aims to assess fertility, reproduction, reproductive performance and maternal behavior of the zwartbles sheep breed. Detected were the most commonly used methods of breeding and, subsequently, fertility indicators used for assessment of reproductive performance such as fertilisation, fertility, the intensity of breeding, the number of newborn lambs, sex ratio, the ratio of singletons, twins and triplets. Childbirth was also monitored with a focus on its course, its level of difficulty and the need for assistance on the part of the breeder. Considered was the maternal behavior in the selected parameters of the zwartbles sheep breed, both sheep divided according to the age, as well as for individual families and blood lines in the herd. Analyses were conducted on the herd of sheep breed zwartbles on the family farm in Mohelno.

Genomika speciace u slavíků / Speciation genomics in nightingales

Mořkovský, Libor January 2019 (has links)
Speciationisusuallyaslowprocessoccurringoverthousandstomillionsofyears.Thismakes speciation research difficult because no direct observation or manipulation is possible. At best, we can gain some insight by inferring the population history and structure in very fine detail by investigating genetic markers in multiple individuals of the nascent species. Today, speciationresearchisinanunprecedentedpositionthankstotheadventofhigh-throughput sequencingmethods, whichmakeiteasier and cheaper than ever before to evaluate multiple markers in many individuals. Speciation is not a straightforward process that happens in the same way every time, but rather a phenomenon occurring when genetic and ecological circumstancesactinginsymphonyultimatelyleadtoreproductiveisolationoftwosubpopula- tions. This is why it is important to study multiple model systems to understand the general principles behind speciation. We worked with two species of nightingales (Luscinia luscinia andL.megarhynchos)thatdivergedapproximately1.8Mya,likelyduetoglacialfluctuations in Europe. Our main goal was to use these new high-throughput sequencing methods to (1) detect interspecific hybrids between the species, (2) estimate levels of interspecific gene flow,(3)findareasofthenightingalegenomethatunderliereproductiveisolationand,finally, (4)...
