This diploma thesis deals with optimization of processes in operating theaters in the regional hospital. The largest consumption is in the operating theatre. It is a place where you meet all kinds of costs and where you find the biggest wasting of sources. The aim of the thesis is optimization of key processes taking place in operating theaters in healthcare institute. Optimization of these processes will enable more efficient, thus providing a management of healthcare institute tool for management. Process analysis will be performed using suitable models and methods of Lean Six Sigma.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and suggest dimensions of air conditioners for ballroom and ventilation of cafeteria, cloakrooms and sanitary rooms. Sub-goals are next heat-load calculation of air-conditioned space, psychrometric calculations for summer and winter environment conditions, design of air distribution, machinery room of air conditioning, to design and suggest dimensions of air distribution system, specification of materials and design of necessary technical drawings.

The main objective of the project was to make a new hall with high-quality facilities for officials. Along with her, I wanted to create a new local center Kohoutovice, which would strengthen the site and then create a global focal point for the community.

Title: New product implementation into fitness centre marketing strategy This thesis is focused on the issues of attendance of fitness centres predominantly by male population. Especifically, I will look into Fitness Power, which is located in Prague. Objectives: Using strategic analysis and marketing research, respectively using a survey to assess the current state of the fitness centre and its services and try to propose changes to the fitness centre so that it will be attended by both men and more women. My thesis will contain a proposal to create an exercise room, which has not been built yet in this fitness centre. Methods: There will be used following strategic analysis: PEST analysis, analysis of resources, analysis of competition and also marketing research, respectively a survey. The sample for the research will be selected from the group of customers who visit any service in the fitness centre. Customers will be able to fill in the questionnaire directly when visiting the fitness centre. Based on the analysis above and marketing research will be developed SWOT analysis. Results: Based on the results of marketing research, some measures were suggested to be able to increase satisfaction and attendance at the fitness centre. The theme of the thesis is a study of the project of „brownfield“ conversion of ex used cotton factory hall PERLA, Bavlnářské závody, A.s in Ústí nad Orlicí city. Prepartory work has dealt whole complex. Thesis follows up only study of a elected part. There are demolished, maintained and brand new objects with underground level garages. Urban and mass solution creates a complex of buildings with a city-forming character and allows going follow the area.

The subject of the master thesis is the design of an eye center. It’s a three-floored building, where in the first floor is designed eye optics, pharmacy and main entrance to the eye center. During the design of the building, emphasis is placed on people with reduced mobility and orientation, technical building solution, thermal technical solution, as well as the assessment of fire safety. On the second floor there is an eye clinic and an operating theatre. On the third floor there are designed an operating theatre, a conference room and offices. The two types of roofs are designed - a vegetation flat roof and a walkable flat roof.

Design of a new town hall for the part of city Brno - Kohoutovice helps to create a functioning public space. City Hall is open to its mass and the square through the passage on the first floor does not preclude views in Kohoutovice valley. Socio - cultural hall is the second mass and utilizes existing building of Albert. The area of public space is fleshed out with new masses into more intimate and more graspable form, there is a better public space, the center of the district.

From a theoretical perspective, concept of City Hall building is built on three values: openness, transparency and community support. I understand these values at two perspektive: literally, as access to buildings not only in the opening hours of the town hall, and figuratively, as openness to other than bureaucratic functions. Town Hall should also promote cohesion and dynamism of the local community. Not just a casual setting where people spend just a neccesary time, but a space where people will want to delay a meeting. The value of transparency in my political and social environment is essential. Town Hall can, and should, give citizens view into the working space officials, as well they should not be cut off from events in the city. Flow of information to and perceptions can be beneficial for both sides.

Thesis objectives: The diploma thesis deals with the issue of prevention of skin lesions in perioperative care. In the theoretical part, the current state of knowledge is presented concerning the pressure ulcers identification due to the persisting real problems in differential diagnostics in clinical practice. Further, the thesis deals with the issue of wet and thermal lesions, which occur also during the perioperative care. In the empirical part of the diploma thesis, the first objective was to find the frequency of documented occurrence of decubital lesions in connection with the surgery in Jihlava Hospital for a period of one year. The second objective of the thesis was to find out whether, and what barriers exist when using specific preventive measures. The last aim of the diploma thesis was to compare the efficiency of preventive measures from the point of view of perioperative nurses and nurses from service units. Three hypotheses were formulated to meet the objectives of the thesis. Method for achieving the objectives: The set objectives were achieved through a retrospective analysis of the hospital information system data and a quantitative questionnaire survey. The study included nurses working in surgery, orthopaedics, traumatology, intensive care units and perioperative nurses in Jihlava Hospital. The total number of respondents was 140. Scientific benefits of the thesis: The research implies that the use of prophylactic aids in pre-operative preparation contributes significantly to reducing the risk of skin lesions. The addressed set of nurses did not indicate any serious barriers to their application and, on the contrary, considered it to be very effective. The results of the thesis can be used in practice, especially in a specific health facility for further care improvement. The findings and conclusions: On the research group we have verified that the declared use of preventive strategies in the area of prevention of lesions in perioperative care differs according to the type and focus of the workplace; (p = 0.000) the least frequent use was declared by the general nurse from orthopaedics, however, the methods used did not differ (p = 0,220). In addition, we found out that there was a statistically significant difference in the opinion on efficiency of prophylactic covering in lesion prevention (p = 0.001, the worst evaluation was by the respondents from orthopaedics) but only 2 respondents stated negative experience with their use.

The aim was to propose a study of the Moravian Wine Center. It is a hotel with a congress, wellness and wine lounge. This newly designed hotel is located in an area called Hrůdek in the cadastral area of Velké Pavlovice. The marginal design also solves the connection with the path on the south side of the hotel, which also serves as a cycle path. Here is a cyclo landing with the possibility of a small snack and of visiting the wine exhibition, which is then connected with the wine lounge in the hotel.
