Dynamické modely zemětřesného zdroje a seismicita / Dynamic models of earthquake source and modeling of seismicity

Kostka, Filip January 2015 (has links)
In the present thesis we perform modeling of earthquake source using laboratory derive rate-and-state laws of friction. We have developed a code in Fortran 90 for modeling a planar, two-dimensional fault with general dip and heterogeneous distribution of frictional parameters. We use a quasi-dynamic approximation and assume that the fault is submnerged in an infinite elastic half-space. We performed an extensive number of numerical experiments to study the effect of fricitonal parameters distribution on the spatio-temporal complexity of slip on fault. We also study the effect of the so called Coulomb stress changed on clock advance and clock delay of events. For this purpose we use both a homogeneous model and a model of random frictional parameteres which exhibits the Gutenberg-Richter frequency- size dependence in the range of two magnitudes. We find that the effect of Couloumb stress change is nontrivial and depends on factors such as the domain of stress load and the slip velocity on it. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Statistická analýza katalogů přirozené a indukované seismicity / Statistical analysis of natural and induced seismicity catalogues

Mazanec, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the statistical properties of seismic catalogues of natural and induced seismicity, identify similarities and differences. We compare statistical temporal and magnitude information contained in different types of earthquake catalogues. Six seismostatistical criteria used for identification of natural swarms and mainshock- aftershock earthquake sequences are applied to 10 different catalogues of natural and induced seismicity. We did not find a method to reliably distinguish between natural and induced seismicity based only on temporal and magnitude information contained in catalogues. We show that induced seismicity catalogues are similar to natural earthquake swarms. We report how the set of 6 criteria presented here can be used for distinguishing between mainshock-aftershock sequences and swarm seismicity. We also show that none of the tested criteria can be used independently for distinguishing between different types of seismicity.

Seismická analýza konstrukce s využitím residuálních tvarů / Seismic analysis of structure with residual modes

Včelný, Michal January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with the possibility of using the residual shape with help of the structural analysis software SCIA Engineer in the calculation of seismic load. Residual shape will be used in combination with CQC and SRSS calculation method, including different numbers of own shapes and the oscillated mass. In the last step, the results will be compared with each other.

Řešení stability svahu v náročných geotechnických podmínkách / The Analysis of Slope Stability in Difficult Geotechnical Conditions

Wetterová, Alice January 2012 (has links)
Aim of the diploma thesis is design elements of slope stabilization in accordance with the planned highway D3 in Slovakia section of Cadca, Bukov - Svrčinovec and relocation of a local road. Objective subject is situated on the slopes of Cadca. In diploma thesis is an analysis of the area with the proposed stabilizing elements in the 5 GEO FEM, their assessment, including determining the overall stability of the territory according to the degree of safety.

Dynamická analýza konstrukce zatížená seismickým zatížením / Dynamic analysis of structure with seismic loads

Šnajdárková, Jana January 2016 (has links)
This thesis focuses on creation of two models of high-rise construction - beam and shell. A dynamic analysis is performed on these models. The selected program is RFEM software and the created high-rise construction is Hearst Tower skyscraper, which is interesting for its diagrid system around its perimeter. There is described process of creating both models and associated problems. Dynamic analysis is performed using standard EN 1998-1. There belongs calculations of sufficient number of modal shapes, spectral analysis and time analysis. Then the results are compared on selected point on the both models.

Analýza ocelových přípojů při seismickém zatížení / Seismic Design of Structural Steel Connections

Sotulář, Jiří January 2017 (has links)
The thesis deals with the analysis and standard check of structural steel connections subjected to seismic loads. Analysis is based on a software solution and standard check is performed according to standard requirements and formulas. The first part deals with the theory of seismic load. There are described the general knowledges about the earthquake and the method of determining the effects of seismic loading on buildings according to the EN 1998-1. In the second part of the thesis is made design and check seismically loaded multi-storey steel building. Design is based on recommendations of the EN 1998-1 and some recommendations of research. In the third part is the analysis, verification and check of steel joints, which are contained in the structure designed in the second part of the thesis. On the basis results of analyses of indivudual connections are defined recommendations and requirements for the use and design structural steel connections subjected to seismic loads.
