Moderní markery orgánového poškození v klinické praxi / Modern Markers of Organ Damage in Clinical Practice

Brož, Pavel January 2019 (has links)
Physical activity is a useful tool in the prevention of many diseases. Hospitalization after strenuous exercise from cardiac or noncardiac causes, even in young athletes without previous symptoms, can occur. These situations are not uncommon and e.g. after completing a half- marathon clinical symptoms suspicious from cardiac etiology can be present. Limitations of biomarkers used in daily clinical practice can lead to misinterpretation with additional consequences to the patient's outcome. Our goal was to describe changes of markers used in daily clinical practice after extreme physical activity and after exercise under laboratory conditions. We performed two studies in cooperation with Department of cardiology and Department of sports medicine. The goal of our first study was to examine high sensitivity troponin I (hsTnI), galectin-3, cystatin C, NGAL and ultrasensitive CRP (uCRP) after extremely long run during the competition in long distance running. The goal of our second study was to examine high- sensitivity troponin T (hsTnT) and hsTnI, creatinine and cystatin C, and urine albumin and NGAL after a standardized two-hour treadmill run under laboratory conditions and to find possible connection with echocardiographic, laboratory and other assessed parameters. The second goal of study under laboratory...

KOORDINAČNÍ SCHOPNOSTI V DLOUHODOBÉ KONCEPCI SPORTOVNÍ PŘÍPRAVY / Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children

Oburková, Renata January 2011 (has links)
Title Coordination abilities in long-term concept sports training of children Objective The point of the thesis is handle the issue of coordination ability. In the first part of the thesis I will talk about general issues of children's sports training, developmental patterns and the characteristic of sensitive periods. The fundamental basis of my research part is find out how the coordination skills involved in long-term sports training, what is their role in motor development of children and what their biological basis. Methods The thesis has a theoretical character and it uses qualitative methods: compares, analyses and interprets texts and data acquired through background research. Results Coordination skills have proven essential element of successful mastery of motor skills in the concept of long-term sports training more or less dependent on coordination. If there are individual skills developed in the sensitive periods is very difficult to catch up with missed this and achieve the same level of skills acquired. Important role in the development of coordination skills and heredity plays a connection with the state and function of the central nervous system. Key words sports training of children, coordination, development, sensitive periods

Molekulární aspekty kalcio-fosfátového metabolizmu u ledvinových komplikací diabetu mellitus. / Molecular aspects of calcium-phosphate metabolism in renal complications of diabetes mellitus.

Šimáková, Eva January 2012 (has links)
Introduction: This thesis deals with the calcium-phosphate metabolism and its role in the development of chronic diabetic complications. It examines calcium sensitive receptor, which can be crucial in affecting calcium metabolism. Calcium-sensitive receptor may play a role in intracellular signaling and metabolic pathways that lead to cell proliferation and extracellular matrix early diabetic nephropathy. We investigated two polymorphisms of the gene for calcium-sensitive receptor (intron 4 and codon 990). Material and Methods: The study included 313 diabetic patients, 41 patients with type 1 diabetes, 106 patients with type 2 diabetes, 110 diabetic patients with type 2 diabetes who had diabetic nephropathy and 56 patients with renal failure non-diabetic (NDRD). It was also examined 72 non-diabetic patients with chronic renal failure (CKD) and 96 healthy blood donors (ZK). Classification of diagnoses is listed in the theory. DNA was isolated by QIAamp DNA Blood Mini Kit and salting method. The specific fragments of gene for the CaSR were amplified by PCR. For detection, restriction fragment length polymorphism and TaqMan probes were used. The expression levels of mRNA were determined by real-time PCR. Results: For the codon 990 polymorphism, we found statistical significance of the genotype frequencies (AA,...

Rozvoj silových schopností dětí mladšího školního věku / Development of power abilities of children of primary school age

Pixová, Lenka January 2016 (has links)
DEVELOPMENT OF POWER ABILITIES OF CHILDREN OF PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study is to verify whether the formed set of exercises will have a positive effect on the strength capability progress of the 4th graders. The program is composed of different balance and coordinative workouts. It will be going on under my guidance twice a week for a period of three months, always at the beginning of every P. E. lesson. The package of practices will take 10 minutes, excluding stretching and warm-up. All the exercises will be noted down in didactical sheets. The indicator of the program success rate is going to be the tested by a motion test; specifically by staying power in pull-up, standing long jump and 60 second sit-ups. The measured performances and the weight of all the exercisers will be recorded. The same measurement will be carried out with the controlled group which is supervised by its form teacher. Finally, the efficiency of the whole program is compared. KEYWORDS: power abilities, balance exercises, primary school age

Vojtova reflexní lokomoce u dědičných polyneuropatií / Vojta's reflex locomotion in hereditary polyneuropathies

Vinciková, Lenka January 2007 (has links)
CMT disease is the most frequently type of the hereditary polyneuropathy. In the Czech republic are some 2 - 4 thousand people with this disease. Clinical picture is characterized by deterioration peripheralnerves, that faces to muscular atrophy and mobility disorders. Lower limbs are affected early than upper limbs. On the lower extremitywe observe typical deformity progress - pes cavus. Fingers on the hand are in claw position. The disturbed peripheral nerves and foot deformity affect balance, movement and stability. The scope of my work was assessment of the value of the Vojta's reflective locomotion for the hereditary polyneutopathy. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Vzdálené účinky svalové elektrostimulace / Distant effects of muscle electrostimulation

Koláček, Michal January 2015 (has links)
This work is trying to identify possible non-stimulatory effects and distant effects of muscle electrostimulation musculus quadriceps femoris based on a literature search. Furthermore evaluates the influence of High Tone Electrical Stimulation (HTEMS) muscles of lower limbs on the activity of the autonomic nervous system, expressed by heart rate variability, a spectral power in the individual frequency bands. Randomized crossover study involved 20 healthy subjects (12 men and 8 women), average age 24.6 ± 5.6 years. Heart rate variability was evaluated before application of HTEMS and immediately after. Measurements were performed with electrostimulator HiToP 191. The results did not show statistically significant increase in spectral power in the individual frequency bands. The study also deals with the reproducibility of measurements of sensitive and motor threshold for electrostimulation HTEMS method, which was confirmed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Randomized crossover study involved 15 healthy subjects (7 men and 8 women), average age 24.4 ± 2,5 years. Heart rate variability was evaluated in two situations: the situation without the application HTEMS and the situation with the aplication of HTEMS. Electrostimulation was done with HITOP 191. The results did not show statistically significant differences in all monitored components. The study also dealt with the reproducibility of measurements of perception and motor threshold for HTEMS.

Zažívání romství při poskytování sociálních služeb klientům pracovníky stejného etnika / Social workers and Their Romish Identity Perception in Providing Services to Clients of the Same Ethnic Group

Vlková, Dorota January 2021 (has links)
The categories of 'ethnicity' or 'Roma' could obscure the whole topic, as they may suggest an idea that the socially excluded are somehow special or unrecognizable. It is therefore very important to use these categories clearly and specifically. That is what I am trying to do in this thesis. The theoretical part is divided into three main parts: the dynamic model of practice, culturally sensitive social work and the chapter entitled Roma. In the first part, the dynamic model, I try to have a look at the practical implementation of social work as described by Karen Healy (from page 10 onwards). I also explore the areas that influence the interactions between the social worker and their client. The dynamic model is focused on professional goals, which are made up of four areas: the institutional context, the needs and expectations of the service users and the community, the professional foundation, and an emerging framework for practice that develops through critical reflection on professional experience. These four elements further interact within the framework of the professional goal. I have also included a subsection where I attempt to define social work and its relationship to social services (p. 19). In the next chapter, I describe the culturally sensitive social work (from p. 25) on which the...

Neuro-vývojová stimulace v práci speciálního pedagoga / Neuro-developmental stimulation in special education teachers work

Volemanová, Marja Annemiek January 2020 (has links)
The aim of the dissertation entitled Neuro-Developmental Stimulation in special education teachers work is to explain a lesser-known phenomenon (persistent primary reflexes and sensory-sensitive integration disorders in children) to determine the prevalence of persistent primary reflexes in pupils from 5 to 8 years and verify effectiveness of the method Neuro- Developmental Stimulation as a possible intervention program for special educators. The theoretical basis is current knowledge about psychomotorics, primary reflexes, sensory perception and sensory-sensitive integration. The main part of the work is research into the prevalence of persistent primary reflexes. The research group consists 345 pupils from 5 to 8 years of age attending regular kindergartens and primary schools and 26 pupils aged 8 to 11 years attending a primary school established pursuant to Section 16, Paragraph 9 of the Czech Education law. Intervention by the Neuro-Developmental Stimulation method is verified in a case study. The next part of the research maps the experience of special pedagogue teachers and speech therapists with the method Neuro-Developmental Stimulation as an intervention program. The research has a quantitative approach. For data collection, questionnaires were distributed among all special pedagogues and...

Studium exprese mutantních alel a stavu X inaktivace ve vztahu ke klinickým projevům vybraných monogenních X vázaných onemocnění / Gene expression of mutant alleles and X inactivation pattern in patients with selected X-linked disorders

Černá, Alena January 2019 (has links)
In comparison to men, the number of X-linked genes is doubled in women as they have two chromosomes X while men are hemizygotes for X-linked genes. This imbalance is compensated by X inactivation (XCI) process, also known as primary X-inactivation, occurring in the early stage of embryogenesis. X inactivation is a random process and females are mosaics of two cell populations. The ratio of expressed alleles in women can be random (50:50) or skewed (≥80:20). The skewed X inactivation may occur due to selection when one of the alleles is preferentially inactivated (secondary X inactivation). In this study XCI status in heterozygous females with various severity of phenotypic symptoms and traits in selected X linked inherited metabolic diseases is analysed, with the focus being Fabry disease - the deficiency of the enzyme alpha-galactosidase A encoded by GLA gene. Moreover, XCI in one family with X linked agammaglobulinemia is examined. Mutant alleles and XCI status based on various loci, different methodical approaches and different tissues is subjected to examination. For the first time, the direct analysis of GLA gene transcript to detect the allele ratio was used alongside with the single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the IDS and LAMP genes for allele-specific expression (ASE) and the AR, RP2 and...
