Interneto vartotojo sąsajos projektavimo metodika ir jos taikymas interneto paslaugų teikėjo sistemai / Methodology of Web Interface Design and its Application for Internet Service Provider System

Kuriant sistemą, kuri turės sąsają internete, reikia turėti metodiką, kuria būtų galima vadovautis projektuojant šią sąsają. Objektinio projektavimo metoduose ir unifikuotame kūrimo procese RUP (angl. Rational Unified Process) nėra aprašytų specialių procesų interneto sąsajai kurti. Nors šia tema rašė nemažai autorių, tačiau sunku rasti vientisą metodiką, kuria galėtų vadovautis interneto sąsajos ir ja paremtos sistemos kūrėjas. Šiame darbe tiriami esami interneto sistemų sąsajos projektavimo metodai, šablonai bei įvairios kūrimo technologijos, siekiant juos sukonkretizuoti, apibendrinti ir sukurti metodinę medžiagą, kurią būtų galima taikyti interneto sistemas projektuojančioje organizacijoje, mokymo procese ar pateikti kaip gidą, bet kuriam interneto sąsajos projektuotojui. Šiais laikais kompiuteriai dalyvauja daugelyje sričių, ir bendravimas tarp žmogaus ir kompiuterio neišvengiamas. Kad vartotojas galėtų valdyti sistemą, šis bendravimas vyktų sklandžiai, reikalinga sąsaja. Esamos sistemos turi sąsają, tačiau susistemintos metodikos, kaip reikėtų kurti tą sąsają, nėra daug, ji išsklaidyta atskiruose literatūros šaltiniuose ar interneto puslapiuose. Dažnai ši metodika slypi projektuotojų mintyse, bet ji taip ir lieka neaprašyta ir pats sąsajos projektavimas būna intuityvus. / Nowadays, information system creation process consists of several different actions, one of those actions – web interface design. Web interface design process requires a good methodology, to make web interface process better, quicker, flexible and satisfy other web interface design criterions. RUP (Rational Unified Process) don’t present any special creation process of internet web interface. Frequently web interface design process lies in the head of it’s designers. There are no full methodology of web interface design process in one place, only some web interface advices or articles about one or other web interface process steps could be found. The goal of this work is to make a methodology of web interface design and implement it for internet service provider system. Methodology also would be useful for companies which participate in web interface design process, also in school or university study process, or like a guide for any web interface designer. The developed methodology for web interface design was used for implementing internet service provider system web interface, system design process and redesign above-mentioned system web interface for measuring process times. Odpovědnost poskytovatelů služeb informační společnosti za porušování autorských práv na internetu / Liability of internet servis providers for copyright infringement on the internet

This paper discusses the history and recent developments pertaining to ISPs' liability for copyright infringement in the European Union. Section I. explains ISPs' basic roles on the Internet, discusses practical grounds justifying a special liability regime for ISPs and outlines the EU legal framework providing safe harbor provisions for ISPs' liability and transposition of these rules into the legal system of the Czech Republic. Section II. describes how judicial decisions in the EU Member States eroded safe harbor rules and how these decisions were subsequently overturned by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJ). The section continues with an examination of the latest judgment of the CJ in UPC Telekabel Wien concerning new rules (or lack thereof) for website-blocking injunctions. Section III. discusses notable examples of EU Member states' legislation or legislative proposals which aimed to put a stop to "online piracy" and copyright infringement. Considerable part of this section analyzes the recent controversial system set up by the Italian communications regulator AGCOM. Section IV. describes examples of increasing voluntary collaboration between ISPs and content owners, which has the potential to effectively combat online piracy and benefit all parties involved. Připravenost krajských vzdělávacích a výcvikových středisek poskytovatelů zdravotnických záchranných služeb na problematiku mimořádných událostí s hromadným postižením osob / Preparedness of the regional education and training centers of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the problems of mass casualties and disasters

The diploma thesis analyzes the topic of preparedness of individual regional and training centers of medical rescue service providers and employees of such organizations for cases of emergencies with mass casualties. In order to collect the data required for the empirical part of the diploma thesis, I prepared two questionnaires: one was a qualitative research aimed only at managers of educational and training centres of individual regional medical rescue services. The other questionnaire was used for a quantitative research, in the form of an anonymous non-standardized questionnaire, which was prepared for employees of medical rescue service. The evaluation of the results of the questionnaire surveys has shown that in spite of the usually appropriate conditions secured by the medical rescue service providers and in spite of the relatively frequent trainings, the knowledge of individual employees in this field is not sufficient. Based on the results acquired it is obvious that individual educational and training centres of medical rescue service providers should pay more attention to the professional training of their employees on this issue. These results will be, upon request, presented to the representatives of individual educational and training centres, and should be used to make the preparation of their employees for cases of emergencies with mass casualties more effective.

The aim of this thesis is to clearly describe all payment services which can be found in current Act on Payments of 2009 and also new payment services under new Act on Payments. New Act on Payments will come into effect on 13 January 2018. The reason for its adoption was the need of transposition of the revised Payment Services Directive known as PSD II. This directive brings significant number of changes into the area of the regulation of payments. Moreover, this thesis devotes to introduction and analysis of all subject authorized to provide payment services in the Czech Republic. The development of the regulation of payments in the Czech Republic is briefly described in the first part of the thesis. Regarding the extensiveness of this topic, it is only outlined which acts have regulated payments in the Czech Republic. The second part of the thesis deals with positive and negative definition of payment services. When describing a single payment service, the difficult situations which can occur due to this payment service are mentioned. The section on negative definition of payment services explains the exceptions which cause that some activities are not consider to payment services pursuant to current and new Act on Payments. Internet is a valuable resource that has propelled enormous economic growth in many developed countries. In order for Eastern African governments to narrow the socio-economic divide between developed countries and themselves, there is need to overcome this digital handicap. Enormous investments in ICT infrastructure are essential. The governments must participate in making crucial decisions to wisely allocate the limited resources to improve the current infrastructure.This thesis investigates Internet use, access and penetration in Eastern Africa. Theoretical research has been carried out to elaborate on the subject matter. Evaluating Sociotechnical Factors Associated With Telecom Service Provisioning: A Case Study

Provisioning Internet services remains an area of concern for Internet service providers. Despite investments to improve resources and technology, the understanding of sociotechnical factors that influence the service-provisioning life cycle remains limited. The purpose of this case study was to evaluate the influence of sociotechnical factors associated with telecom service provisioning and to explore the critical success and failure factors, specifically in the telecommunication industry of Kuwait. Guided by sociotechnical systems theory, this qualitative exploratory case study approach examined a purposeful sample of 19 participants comprising of managers, engineers, and technicians who had the knowledge and experience of the service-provisioning life cycle. Semistructured interviews, project logs, and a self-created follow-up questionnaire were the primary sources of data. Thematic analysis techniques assisted in coding the data and developing themes, which resulted in a set of critical success and failure factors that influence the service-provisioning life cycle. Cross-functional communication, risk management practices, infrastructure availability, and employee skill development were among the emergent factors that influenced the service implementation. Internet service providers may use the results from this study to improve the service-provisioning life cycle. Successful implementations will promote an environment of positive social change that will increase employee motivation, productivity, and employee morale.

Author: Emma Johansson Florsjö and Amanda Rosvall Stenman Supervisor: Jonas Kågström Date: 2019 - May Aim: The purpose is to analyze the congruency between the estate agent's and the seller's personality traits. Method: The study used a quantitative research method done with the personality test The Big Five and the empirical material was gathered through a web-based survey. The study population consisted of individuals that, at some point in their lives have or will have hired a real estate agent at a housing sale. Jamovi was used to analyze and to see connections between the answers obtained from the participants in the survey. The answers were processed through descriptive analyze, correlation analysis and factor analysis. Results & Conclusions: The results of the study showed that sellers preferred real estate agents who had similar personality traits as themselves, which confirmed the similarity hypothesis. The results indicated that none of the sellers preferred a real estate agent with high levels of neuroticism. The survey also showed that the expectations about the real estate agent were different for people who never had hired an agent before as opposed to those who had. Contribution of the thesis: The survey contributes to an understanding that real estate agents should adjust to the sellers’ personality traits to raise the chances of being hired, when interacting with the seller. Real estate agents with high levels of neuroticism should conceal this. Suggestions for future research: It would be interesting to conduct a similar study with a more extensive version of the personality test The Big Five. Further, The Big Five could be done by real estate agents to compare the personal traits of sellers who had hired a specific agent. Lastly, it would have been interesting to study the efficiency of the real estate agent in their perception of similar personality traits between customer and agent from the customers’ side. Förslag till fortsatt forskning: Det skulle vara intressant att genomföra en liknande studie med en mer omfattande version av personlighetstestet The Big Five. Vidare hade The Big Five kunnat genomförts på fastighetsmäklare, i syfte att jämföra personlighetsdragen på säljare som hade anlitat en specifik mäklare. 在二十世紀和二十一世紀交替的時期,資訊科技正以迅雷不及掩耳的方式快速發展。自從網際網路的出現,電腦的應用層次已呈現出另一種境界。短短幾年裡,網際網路已讓全球企業界深刻地體認到其所具有的高度商業價值;從而衍生出來的商業應用,更是為各行各業帶來新領域和新視野,亦為市場帶來無限商機。而在這一股網際網路的熱潮中,網際網路服務提供者(Internet Service Provider; ISP)扮演了一個相當重要的角色,因此很多企業相繼投入這個市場,但也因此造成了ISP產業中激烈的競爭。ISP業者如何在重重的困難中脫穎而出,進而取得更大的市場優勢? 本研究先以探索式的研究方法,探討我國ISP業的競爭狀態及內外在條件影響各ISP業者市場優勢的關係模式。先談文獻,首先,針對幾家ISP業者,進行深度個案公司訪問調查,分析其內外在條件及市場優勢,將結果與文獻探討所得到的理論架構加以整合,以建立本研究之研究模式,並且依據研究模式擬訂研究假設,然後以實證研究法驗證研究假設,進行過程乃是以我國ISP業為對象,以問卷調查作為研究工具,搜集有關本研究計劃所需要的原始資料,運用多變量分析之統計方法進行資料分析,以驗證本研究計劃所提出之假設,並嘗試說明驗證之結果。
