Studium klimatických změn v České republice

Osičková, Renata January 2014 (has links)
In my Diploma Thesis are processed and analyzed values of average monthly temperatures recorded in 34 meteorological stations that are uniformly distributed in the territory of the Czech Republic. Recorded data are approximated by a series regression function F(t, x, y, h), which is based on a model . This function describe the dependence of temperature T [°C] on time t [year], geographical position x, y [km] and altitude h [m]. Unknown coefficients of the linear functions were calculated using a Maple application based on the method of least squares. The author calculated coefficients of linear correlation for each meteorological station and also the time development of the coefficient of linear correlation for the whole territory of the Czech Republic. The calculated average values for individual stations and for the whole territory were 0.97 and 0.92, respectively. This result indicates a very high standard of the developed model and the model itself indicates that the average temperatures are decreasing in approximately 80 % of the territory of the Czech Republic.

Predikce rozšíření invazního raka mramorovaného (Procambarus fallax f. virginalis) ve světě / Prediction of invasive marbled crayfish (Procambarus fallax f. virginalis) global spread

Nováková, Pavla January 2017 (has links)
Biological invasions are currently a global problem. They often cause a loss of biodiversity and severely disrupt the balance of entire ecosystems. One of the most dangerous among the many species of crayfish known to be invasive is the marbled crayfish or Marmorkrebs (Procambarus fallax f. virginalis Martin et al., 2010). The marbled crayfish is a major ornamental crayfish species. It is a known vector of infectious crayfish plague, which is lethal for crayfish species of non-North American origin. Marbled crayfish is also very tolerant to different water temperatures. The most important feature making it an especially dangerous invasive species, is the way of its reproduction. Marbled crayfish reproduces via apomictic parthenogenesis. Therefore, only females are able to reproduce and males of this taxon has not been recorded. This crayfish is characterised by a very quick maturation and extremely rapid growth. Even though some established populations of this taxon in the wild have already been recorded, and probability of the establishment in selected regions was evaluated, no predictions for expansion on a global scale have been conducted. The program CLIMATCH was used in this thesis to match the climate conditions between the source area (distribution of established populations of marbled crayfish in the wild) and target areas (all continents excluding Antarctica) based on temperatures during the coldest and warmest quarters of the year. The results showed that marbled crayfish can probably survive and reproduce in even colder regions of the temperate zone. The presented findings additionally indicate that temperate zones contain slightly higher potentially suitable regions than in the case of tropics. There are temperature conditions most suitable for the survival and reproduction of the marbled crayfish within Europe in comparison of the rest of the world; and the least favourable temperature conditions are within Australia. The marbled crayfish introduction and ability to survive and reproduce in the wild is a potential threat to native biota and entire ecosystems on all continents assessed. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that the breeding of and the pet trade with this crayfish should be regulated by policymakers and wildlife managers by improvement of legislative restrictions (such as in the EU) and intensive future education of general public. It is obvious that the monitoring of invasive crayfish species might be continuous. Nevertheless, the most important step is to make producers and hobbyists aware of the risks related with marbled crayfish.

Energie jako pojem přirozeného i odborného jazyka / Energy as a term of natural and scientific langugage

Hronová, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
This master thesis is dealing with the term "energy" in relation to interpersonal perception in the context of natural language. The main research question is, how we perceive the level of energy in humans and if there is a general agreement about that. The theoretical part starts with an etymological explanation of the word energy, which follows an overview of scientific disciplines and their explanation of energy. The emphasis in this chapter is put on energy in psychology, in which the concept is first grasped in terms of psychometry and personality psychology. Psychological theories, which work with the concept of energy in the clinical field, are then described. The last chapter of the theoretical part is about non-verbal communication and social cognition. The research part is divided into a quantitative and a qualitative part. The quantitative part, using a correlation study, verifies to what degree the word energy in relation to humans is reliable and valid. The participants saw 8 short videos, where they observed interviews with different person. After that they rated the level of energy of the observed person on the Likert scale from 1 to 10. The judgers' agreement calculated with Kendall's W is 0,3. This value is not high enough to conclude, that the word energy is a valid and reliable...

Registrace povrchů a přenos topologie v geometrické morfometrii / Surface registrations for topology transfer in geometric morphometry

Dupej, Ján January 2020 (has links)
Geometric morphometry serves biologists and anthropologists to rigorously and quantitatively describe shapes. These representations can be treated as a statistical sample, allowing the researchers to study its variability within groups and correlate it to other features. Geometric morphometry uses landmarks as the proxy for shape, with consistent semantics in each specimen. General triangle meshes do not have this property, and as such, semantically consistent remeshes must be created artificially. This thesis deals with the design of an algorithm that consistently resamples a set of surface models for the purpose of statistical analysis. Coherent point drift was employed to perform nonrigid registration, whose result is then used to generate a semantically consistent remeshes. This approach was successfully applied in a number of studies. As CPD is compute-intensive, we propose methods of accelerating both its initialization and processing phases. Also, an extension was introduced, that can map the deviation of the surfaces from perfect bilateral symmetry and analyze it in a sample, which is significant, among others, for quantification of pathologies. Manual trimming of the surfaces and merging datasets results in outlier regions in the individual surfaces and potentially large differences in their vertex...

Syntaktický vztah shody (se zvláštním zřetelem ke shodě predikátu se subjektem) / Syntactic approach to agreement (with a special view to agreement of predicate with subject)

Klimešová, Petra January 2011 (has links)
This thesis deals with syntactic relation of subject-predicate agreement in Czech, concentrating on special cases. The theoretical part describes the term "agreement" in terms of the traditional dependency approach, presents the definition of the term and specifies its width. It describes the subject-predicate agreement from from other theoretical perspectives, too (for example generative grammar analysis etc.). The main part of this theoretical chapter contains particular cases of subject-predicate agreement, as described in Czech grammars and textbooks. However, this description does not take into account all options and variants of agreement used in everyday conversation. Therefore, we investigate the problem of agreement through an empirical survey, which serves us to identify more complex cases (multiple subject with disjunctive, adversative and compared relation between its constituents; based on the cases found in the Czech National Corpus). Another source of data comes from a questionnaire, which maps how complex agreement structures are acquired by users of the language (students of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University). The data found in Czech National Corpus enable us to specify tendencies of agreement in more complicated cases; these tendencies should be included in the grammatical...

Zkušenost zprostředkovaného učení v interakcích rodičů a dětí / Mediation learning experience within parents - children interactions

Šinkner, Filip January 2019 (has links)
This thesis presents a draft of a diagnostic tool, intented to use to analyze mediated learning experience ("MLE") in the interactions of parents and school aged children. The first chapter deals with historical roots of MLE and theoretical concepts, which inspired Reuver Feuerstein, author of MLE. Next chapters of the thesis are giving insight to MLE parameters and connecting the parameters to the contemporary knowledge from psychological practice. The thesis is also focused on MISC approach, created by Pnina Klein, which hasn't been described yet in the czech psychological literature, even though it is based on MLE and it is commonly used in foreign research and interventional programmes. The thesis describes the structure of MLE and possibilities of it's uses. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis, methods, based on MLE theory, used in the Czech republic, are described. Contemporary methods of analyzing interactions of parents and children are also mentioned. Research project of the thesis was focused on designing a draft of a specific form of a diagnostic tool Observed Interactions of Mediated Learning Experience (Pozorované Interakce Zkušenosti Zprostředkovaného Učení - "PIZZU"). It's contents and graphic form was created in cooperation with pedagogues and psychologists. Creating PIZZU...

Přibližná shoda znakových řetězců a její aplikace na ztotožňování metadat vědeckých publikací / Approximate equality of character strings and its application to record linkage in metadata of scientific publications

Dobiášovský, Jan January 2020 (has links)
The thesis explores the application of approximate string matching in scientific publication record linkage process. An introduction to record matching along with five commonly used metrics for string distance (Levenshtein, Jaro, Jaro-Winkler, Cosine distances and Jaccard coefficient) are provided. These metrics are applied on publication metadata from V3S current research information system of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Based on the findings, optimal thresholds in the F1, F2 and F3-measures are determined for each metric.

Specifika počítačem podporovaného překladu z němčiny do češtiny / CAT Tools in German - Czech Translation

Handšuhová, Jana January 2013 (has links)
Abstract This thesis handles special translation software, the mastery of which is becoming one of the basic requirements of successful translation work. The theoretical part describes the historical development, classification and main functions of translation memory systems. The thesis will further attempt to determine the criteria for the effective use of CAT tools and explore the text types and sorts for which the translation memory systems are most commonly used in the translation process. The functional view of the language-based text typology and the principles on which the translation memory systems work will also be handled. The practical part compares the result of a translation process (translation as a product) with and without CAT tools. The corpus of parallel texts (original translation) will be subjected to a translation analysis. This analysis concludes the levels which are affected by differences between translations made with and without CAT tools. The differences in the actual translation process with and without CAT tools which are not empirically verifiable will be analysed based on a survey conducted amongst translators. Then, the empirical part of the findings are summarized and systemized. The last chapter deals with the expected development in the translation market, the...

Algoritmy shody v dynamických servisně orientovaných systémech / Compliance Algorithms in dynamic service oriented systems

Šabatová, Ivana January 2009 (has links)
Compliance achievement and assurance of processes and services with regulatory requirements, standards, and business requirements becomes an actual task that should be resolved already in the stage of information systems design and implementation. If the particular business process or business service is supported with an IT system, then the compliance assurance relates also to this supporting system. This dissertation thesis presents the concept of continual compliance management in service oriented systems with a special focus on application of advanced process automation tools. The aim of this thesis was design of methods and procedures for reliability and credibility of business processes both internally in single domain, and in case of business process outsourcing including iterated and/or dynamic outsourcing i.e. in multi-domain environment with a special emphasis on automation level maximization. Particular process and/or service is considered to be reliable and credible if we are able to prove its compliance with the defined requirements in a trusted way. The first part of this thesis is dedicated to traditional methods for compliance achievement and assurance as a basis and inspiration for methods based on high level of automation. The second part of this thesis presents the concept of design, implementation and verification of compliance in service oriented systems. It introduces the terms of ideal target process, Key Assurance Indicator (KAI) and Key Security Indicator (KSA). For multi-domain environment there is the concept of Protection Level Agreement (PLA). This part also covers a new method of business process analysis designed for their automation as well as a concept of business rules design, testing and automation integration. The third part named Conceptual Model of Compliance Assurance in BPMS and Service Oriented Systems Environment brings a method inspired by well-known Deming Cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act), description of the notations selected for compliance algorithm and target process modelling, and first of all the compliance algorithm design. This concept is demonstrated on two case studies of real business processes analyzed in Hospital San Raffaele in Milan, Italy. First of them is an internal business process regulated by regional law, the second study is an example of compliance with business requirement achievement and assurance in multi-domain environment of iterated dynamic outsourcing. These case studies were verified by simulation with subject matter experts and business process activities performers of the hospital personnel.
