Medienos apdirbimo įmonės apskaitos sistema / The processing and accounting system for the timber enterprise

Jakubauskas, Dovydas 04 August 2011 (has links)
Sistema skirta atlikti minimalius medienos tūrio skaičiavimo veiksmus su papildomomis funkcijomis, vesti darbuotojų duomenis su darbo rezultatais, visą reikalingą informaciją apie įrangą, planuoti darbus į priekį, kaupti jau atliktus darbus, bei pateikti grafiškai pavaizduotą informaciją apie darbuotojų darbo našumą bei atlygį. / The processing and accounting system for the timber enterprise is basically a set of functions and classes, with graphical user interface (GUI) specially designed for specific accounting and information processing operations. One of the parts of this project is remote Silverlight application that means a user doesn’t need to install this application. It can be reached from any computer with the Internet connection. It lets user to be workplace-independent. Another part of this project is JAVA MIDlet portable application created for Symbian Operating system, used by Nokia. It helps for those cases, when user has no possibilities to access Silverlight application throughout the Internet.

Website using Silverlight and ASP.NET modules

Shastry, Arun P. January 1900 (has links)
Master of Science / Department of Computing and Information Sciences / Daniel A. Andresen / Developing websites that provide the user with a rich experience has become one of the most important needs of the present day world wide web. This website has been implemented using Microsoft Silverlight 2.0 - one of the front runners among technologies used for creating applications with a rich user experience and ASP.NET. The main objective of this project is to build parts of a website using Microsoft Silverlight – thus, showcasing the technology’s capabilities in improving user experiences on websites and also explore how these experiences are made possible from a programmer’s point of view. A part of the functionality of the website is also implemented as ASP.NET modules. The background code for both the parts is written in C#. NET.

Developing a Rate Equation Simulation Environment Using Microsoft Silverlight

Stevenson, Adam L. 2009 December 1900 (has links)
The exponential growth of information demands the automated movement of data and software via new software models that are able to integrate data and components on their own without scientists’ direct involvement. However, current stand-alone software modeling environments do not support a secure software execution, nor do client server applications allow user customization of the software running on the servers. To address this problem, a biological pathway modeling environment was built as a stand-alone Rich Internet Application (RIA). The modeling environment was tested by constructing a simulation of the glycolysis pathways in the human erythrocytes, and the results were compared against one of the latest and richest erythrocyte metabolism models developed by Kuchel and Mulquiney. The working simulation was able to settle into a quasi-stable state, with substrate concentrations close to what Kuchel and Mulquiney presented. It was also found that while the browser environment does allow for dynamic applications to be developed, speed and performance do become major issues. In later versions, it is hoped that the performance of the simulator can be increased and that it will become possible to link models together and add collaboration tools.

Animace algoritmů v prostředí Silverlight / Algorithm Animation in Silverlight

Gargulák, David January 2009 (has links)
The goal of this work was to create a program for the animation of algorithms in Silverlight. To develop this Silverlight module, platform .NET and programing language C# were used. This work contains basic information about Silverlight module and similar module named Flash.

Videokonferenční systém pro distanční výuku / Videoconference System for Distance Learning

Regueyra, Philip January 2011 (has links)
The aim of my diploma thesis is to introduce the problematic of today’s videoconference system and to compare the existing solutions. First chapters of my work are dedicated to a description of the theory of the conference system. Furthermore there is described the application Skype and application WebEx. These are the projects that are the nearest to the submission of this work. On the basis of the acquired information, the thesis is dealing with the creation of my own solution of video conference system. In the third chapter there are described all the used technologies needed for the realization of the project. The thesis is then dealing with the creation of own client on the platform Silverlight. This client is working on the components that play the multimedia content and on the service WCF RIA. After the part dedicated to a creation of the client, there are described the settings of services Windows Server 2008, on which the solution is realized. There are described the settings of services of web server, services of multimedia media, settings of SQL server and usage of program Windows Media Encoder. The last part is dedicated to a testing and plotting of the functionality of created video conference system. In the conclusion of the work there are evaluated the results of the work and described possible directions, where the development of the client of video conference could proceed.

Omvandlingen av en skrivbordsapplikation till en webbapplikation / Transformation of a desktop application to a web application

Razafimandimbison, Handi, Håkanson, Daniel January 2015 (has links)
This thesis investigates how a developer can move a desktop application to the web environment. The investigation also includes finding out what are the limitations of a web application and what is not possible to move to the web from the desktop. The question is whether there is any functionality that is gained or lost in the web application after the move. A survey has been conducted to find out what types of problems occur when moving an application from desktop to the web. The authors of this thesis have developed two prototypes for a company who wants to move a limited part of their current desktop application to the web in the future. The prototypes have been developed in Silverlight and ASP.NET. The survey has revealed that one of the disadvantages of web applications is the difficulty in working with local files and hardware on the computer. An information search has suggested that a function in a web application can be carried out faster or slower than in a desktop application depending on the conditions. Silverlight has shown through the practical work that it can make the move to the web easier for companies who are more specialized in desktop applications because there is not much knowledge required for the migration. Silverlight has also shown during the implementation of graphical components that it can easily move functionality such as drag and drop with the aid of its toolkit. The shift from desktop to the web can be seen as building a web application from scratch. The result can be influenced by the experience of the developer in the development of the web or desktop applications. Increased knowledge in the methods and technology used in the development of web applications is a necessity for anyone considering to make the move from the desktop.

Technologie Silverlight a její praktické využití / Silverlight technology and its practical use

Bürger, Michal January 2007 (has links)
This diploma thesis brings a look at the relatively new technology Microsoft Silverlight, which is a new platform for developing Rich Internet Applications (RIA). It contains features and principles of Silverlight technology in a context of several other technologies. As a part of this work, there is a practical project developed in Microsoft Silverlight 2.0, which is used as a demonstration of described principals and techniques in a theoretical part. The goal of this work is to provide the best possible and complete description of Silverlight's features, advantages, but also limitations. In the thesis there can be also found comparisons with related technology Microsoft Windows Presentation Framework (WPF) and also with other competitors on a RIA market.

Software pro ovládání programovatelných regulátorů s webovým rozhraním / Operating software with web interface for programmable controllers

Matějka, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with developing of software, which allows access and control of programmable controllers through web interface. Software uses client server model and for communication between client and server is used Windows Communication Foundation interface which is integrated in Microsoft .NET Framework from version 3.0. Applications were written in C# programming language using .NET Framework libraries. Data visualization in web application was created by Microsoft Silverlight.
