The aim of this study was to identify and evaluate the opinion of South Bohemian region inhabitants on activities of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS) other emergency services in rescue and relief work in emergency situations and find out the resulting level of inhabitants safety. The whole study was designed to analyze the data collected by questionnaire survey and to obtain relevant information about the opinion of the South Bohemian region inhabitants on the work of the Army of the Czech Republic, the Czech Red Cross and the municipal police within IRS. A questionnaire survey seemed to be the best way how to get relevant information. The pilot study helped to identify the three other emergency services of IRS in the opinion of the inhabitants. At a subsequent questionnaire survey the research sample was 50 respondents from each of seven South Bohemian districts, a total of 350 respondents from districts České Budějovice, Český Krumlov, Jindřichův Hradec, Písek, Prachatice, Strakonice and Tábor. The results of this research show that three quarters of respondents do not exactly know the term "other emergency services of IRS", despite the fact that some of the respondents have personal experience with the intervention of some other emergency services of IRS during an emergency situation. So it can be concluded that the South Bohemian region inhabitants have more awareness of the IRS as a whole, but they are no longer sufficiently familiar with its structure. To increase the level of knowledge about the structure of the IRS?s components I recommend to include more detailed information about this topic in the primary school curriculum. It also proposes to increase public awareness about IRS structure through media campaigns. Activities of the Army of the Czech Republic within IRS were judged as very helpful and on quite sufficient level. Individuals who have had personal experience with - 5 - the intervention of soldiers such as rescue, relief work and evacuation, evaluate their help as efficient and very professional. The personal experience with the help of the Czech Red Cross in emergency situations (especially floods) has one quarter of respondents. Red Cross Humanitarian units helped in these cases mainly with the provision of emergency accommodation and catering. Czech Red Cross was also focused on the collecting and distributing of humanitarian aid. Almost 86% of respondents judged these activities as very professional and efficient. Respondents are not convinced about sufficiently help of municipal police in the case of emergency situation. Some of them rate it as rather weak. Likewise, they considered that each municipal police in South Bohemian region have some reserves in facilities such as car park. However, 41% of respondents agree that the quality of the activities of this emergency service is increasing in the last few years. My recommendation in this case refers to an increase in the number of service cars. Based on the obtained data, the ranking of other emergency services of IRS was compiled according to their significance in respondents? opinion. On the first three positions are these emergency service - Army of the Czech Republic, municipal police, Czech Red Cross. Summary of the obtained information indicates a positive finding that the three analyzed other emergency services of IRS are very helpful in protection of health, life and property of the inhabitants of South Bohemian region within the IRS activities. However, I believe that my recommendations presented in this study may contribute to further improving the performance of the three analyzed emergency services so that their perception of the South Bohemian region inhabitants can achieve an even higher level in the future.

In my diploma thesis entitled Implementing the Gold Rule of Morality in Crisis Planning for Population Protection, I will try to draw on the ideas and conclusions of my bachelor thesis, in which I investigated whether members of the Integrated System Can use the golden rule of morality in an emergency. I have come to the conclusion that the members of the individual components of the integrated rescue system are guided by the valid legislation and orders of the commander of the intervention. Nevertheless, they would welcome in certain situations the possibility of deciding according to the golden rule of morality, which briefly tells us: "I do not want to do the other to you." Translated into situations in the event of an extraordinary event may mean deciding in tedious situations so, as if you were the Rescued and not the savior. The aim of my thesis is to find out whether it is possible to implement this idea in the crisis plans themselves and, above all, whether the intervening members of the integrated rescue system themselves would use this rule in certain situations. The association of two seemingly incompatible worlds seems at first glance absurd, but research and interviews with individual members of the integrated system have convinced me that the philosophical questions and the name of Imanuel Kant can very closely mingle with the world of extraordinary events and the salvation of Human lives, health and property of the population. I would very much like to work with this bachelor thesis together with my previous bachelor thesis, tried to create a unified whole as an idea that can motivate us to think whether it is necessary to change the current state of legislation or whether the legislation itself is set as a form of golden rule of morality .

The goal of the thesis was to analyse the space arrangement of the gamma - spektrometry laboratory at the RC SÚJB České Budějovice in order to design an optimal regime in a radiological emergency.

Lifestyle belongs to the most significant factors that influence our health. Lifestyle of most people at the beginning of the 21st century is rather alarming. Healthy lifestyle counselling provides basic range of tests and examinations that determine the level of individual risk of a client. Risk analysis enables to recommend an optimum change in nutrition, alcohol consumption, smoking habits, physical activity and stress management. The thesis is divided in the theoretical and practical part. The first part introduces theoretical determination of the issue. It deals with the concept of lifestyle and questions that influence health factors. In the practical part the research results are presented. The research focused on the description of lifestyle of healthy lifestyle counsellors. I used the method of a questionnaire and I processed the obtained data statistically. The research set consisted of 153 respondents working in the field of healthy lifestyle counselling. The control group consisted of 438 employees of Public Health Protection bodies. Based on the research I have concluded that healthy lifestyle counsellors are aware of the importance to keep healthy lifestyle, however, they do not always follow the particular recommendations. Main problems are above all a lack of physical activity, insufficient consumption of fish and legumes.

The Krasno deposit is only one active mine at Slavkovsky les. Mined are feldspars raw materials with high quality, commonly used in ceramic and glass industry. Mined raw material has a lot of additional components, which has influence on quality of raw material. Main additional components are unwanted coloring Fe oxides. Another additional components are apatite and topaz, which dont have influence on quality of raw material. The most interesting additional components of raw material are Ta - Nb, Li - Rb minerals. Currently the processing of raw material is under modernization for maximal separation high quality of feldspar material. The result of semi-processing operation shows the concentrate can be potential source of strategic raw materials as Nb - Ta or Li - Rb mineralization. This thesis deals with the relationship between property rights and the protection of environmental compartments. The thesis is divided into chapters corresponding to individual compartments, namely soil, minerals, energy, water, air, organisms and ecosystems. Each chapter defines given compartment and then describes its current Czech regulation. This thesis doesn't deal with all legislation in the area of environmental protection, but only with provisions related to ownership, namely whether given compartment can be an object of property rights and if possible whether its owner's treatment of this compartment can be restricted in the interest of its protection. Some chapters are further divided into sub-chapters due to quantity of laws concerning corresponding environmental compartment, e.g. the chapter about ownership of organisms differentiates animals from other organisms and further divides them into animals in captivity and free-living ones. Chapters about soil, minerals, water and organisms are ended with partial conclusions summarising my knowledge and thoughts about their respective topics, while the conclusion of the thesis as whole represents combination of synthesis of those partial conclusions and my opinions on overall legal regulation of property rights to environmetal compartments.

This dissertation will give us insight into racewalking as a discipline, we will learn interesting facts from the history, then it will introduce us to its specifics and differences. Thereafter, the dissertation focuses on the structure of performance and training in racewalking. The main focus of my dissertation is the topic of nutrition, which is the key factor in the overall performance. It describes all the necessary components of a diet, which are very important in a well prepared pre-race training. The next fundamental theme is the replenishment of glycogen, which is needed for a proper work of muscles and to correctly utilize the supercompensation diet. Furthermore, the forms, rules and methods of being on a supercompensation diet will be shown on specific cases. Last, but not least, it will cover the importance of fluid intake for an athlete.

This diploma thesis focuses on administration developement of five district gendarmerie commands (Benešov, Český Brod, Vlašim, Jílové u Prahy, Říčany u Prahy) which were a part of gendarmerie departement Benešov u Prahy during 1918-1945. The aim of the work is to introduce their form and activities within the whole gendarmerie organization in the Czech lands and try to explain their specifics if there were any. There is emphasise on personalities and careers of district gendarmerie commanders. After introducing character and history of administration since half of the nineteenth century till 1945 there is a chapter which concerns on historical developement of Benešov, Vlašim, Český Brod, Jílové and Říčany regions especially during 1918-1945. On the basis of that there will be described and evaluated the command of gendarmerie departement Benešov and five district gendarmerie commands. This thesis is based on comparative, normative-comparative method with an application of some sociological and psychological approaches. Alcali – silica reaction often causes destruction of a concrete.constructions. In the theoretical part is described creation and causes of the ASR including assessment of individual components of concrete and their testing. The practical part is devoted to the results of some control tests of the concrete cover in the section 18 of the highway D1 (Měřín - Velké Meziříčí) and section D1-20 (Velké Meziříčí - Lhotka), the mechanical properties of the upper and the lower layer of the concrete cover and measuring the resistance of concrete against chemical deicing agents.

The Master Thesis deals with a proposal of algorithm of a protective function for assymetric faults location in resistance-grounded medium voltage networks with decentralized measurement of instantaneous voltage and current values. The theoretical part describes a single pole fault in the resistance-grounded network including the network analysis using the symmetric component method. Furtherly follows brief reserse of nowadays considered possibilities of faults location in the medium voltage networks. The proposed algorithm which works on the principle of negative sequence changes and change differencies of voltage and current is described by mathematical operations and flowchart, and it is furtherly tested in the PSCAD simulator on the proposed network model. Also the algorithm is tested in the Matlab program using the real data from the local distribution network Pod Palackeho vrchem where the initial pilot implementation is assumed. The last part of the thesis includes also the algorithm sensitivity analysis.
