La problemática familiar es muy variada y frecuente, todos los que vivimos en una familia experimentamos diversas situaciones que generan estrés, por lo que existe mucha literatura y diversas alternativas de cómo lidiar estas situaciones. Por lo que se ha realizado la presente investigación cuyo propósito es elaborar una propuesta de programa de socioterapia para afrontar el estrés en la familia orientado a buscar el bienestar de cada integrante y su crecimiento, fortaleciendo los lazos familiares. El diseño de la investigación es descriptivo de tipo bibliográfico documental. Los resultados logrados en esta investigación fueron: análisis de los fundamentos de la socioterapia como modelo de intervención para afrontar el estrés en la familia, así también se sustentó la necesidad de afrontamiento del estrés en la familia y se identificaron y describieron los recursos terapéuticos que propone la socioterapia, para afrontar el estrés en la familia y finalmente se elaboró la propuesta de programa de socioterapia. / Family problems are very varied and frequent, all of us who live in a family experience several situations which generate stress. So, there exist a lot of literature and different alternatives to deal with these situations. Therefore, it has been developed this research which purpose is to elaborate a sociotherapy program proposal to face stress in the family, with the aim of looking for the well-being of each member and its self-growing. The research’s design is descriptive of documentary bibliographic type. The results achieved in this research were: analysis of the foundations of sociotherapy as an intervention model to deal with stress in the family, as well as the need to deal with stress in the family and the description of therapeutic resources proposed by sociotherapy to face stress in the family and finally the sociotherapy program proposal was elaborated.
