Vliv specializace na strukturu měst, venkovského osídlení a krajiny / Infuse of specialization on structure cities, rural habitat and landscape

Štěpánek, Martin January 2019 (has links)
Specialization and concentration of human activity is a phenomenon which accompanies the development of human settlements from their very beginning. While thoroughly explored in other fields, interconnection between pecialisation, on one hand, and urbanism and architecture, on the other, has been neglected. Nevertheless, this issue is of high ignificance since it determines the settlement structure development to a large extent. If understood correctly, this underlying principle of the impact of specialisation and concentration on the settlement development offers a new insight into historical context and enables one to understand the present development.

Rozdílné přístupy a jejich dopad na pohybový aparát tenistů / Different approches and their impact on musculosceletal system of tennis players

Halvová, Kristýna January 2020 (has links)
Title: Different approches and their impact on musculosceletal system of tennis players. Objectives: The central aim of master thesis was the comparison of flexibility and agility of Norwegian tennis players and tennnis players from Czech Republic at the competitive level. The comparsion was respecting and taking into consideration apllied compensatory program which was a building part of the study. The another aim was to aquire information regarding training preparation of tennis players from Norway and their comparison to training preparation of Czech players. Methods: Thesis is an quasi-experimental study. In the beginning and the end of this study all players underwent the opening and final measurments of flexibilty and agility. Final measurements were done after five days of intervetion with emphasis on unilateral load compensation. Intervetion contained predominantly flexibility and agility exercises. The specialized questionarre was filled by trainers of Oslo Tennis Club, chosen trainers from all around the Czech Republic and ten professional tennis players from Czech national team. Obtained data were analysed using statistic methods. Results: The firts hypothesis assuming statistically more significant data from opening flexibility measurments of Norwegian players compared to Czech players...

Specializace hráčů amerického fotbalu ve vztahu k jejich somatotypu / Specialization of American football players in relation to their somatotype

Botek, Lukáš January 2019 (has links)
This thesis Specialization of American football players in relation to their somatotype deals with the differences in somatotypes of American football players in the Czech Republic. Its main aim is to describe the somatotypes of American football players from the side of their player specialization and their participation in the 1st and 2nd league of American football in the Czech Republic. For successful achievement of the main aim are defined partial aims of the thesis, which are primarily to find out the somatotypes of players of all specializations and then to compare these somatotypes from different perspectives. The whole purpose of this description of somatotypes is mainly to identify the role of somatotype on differentiation of players in individual game positions. The sample of this work is made up of 70 probands located across all players' specializations in the 1st and 2nd league of American football in the Czech Republic. Somatic measurements of parameters necessary to determine their somatotypes were used on all subjects. The measured values were processed and statistically analyzed through calculations and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and through somatocharts. The results of this thesis show us somatotypes of players of all specializations, but also differences between somatotypes...

Evoluce hostitelské specializace u kukaččích včel rodu Sphecodes (Hymenoptera) / Evolution of host specifity in cuckoo bees of the genus Sphecodes (Hymenoptera)

Habermannová, Jana January 2011 (has links)
Cuckoo bees behave similarly to the well-known birds, cuckoos - they lay eggs in the nests of other bees. Proposed thesis charts the evolution of host specialization within the strictly cuckoo genus Sphecodes. According to the classical view based on the Red Queen hypothesis, parasites should gradually specialize during evolution to keep pace in the "arms race" with their hosts. Specialization is also perceived as an evolutionary dead end - narrow adaptation prevents change of host. To test these hypotheses phylogeny of tribus Sphecodini based on the partial sequences of five genes was constructed. For each ancestor has been by two methods of mapping ancestral characters (Bayesian method, Maximum Parsimony) specified, whether it was specialist or generalist and which kind of host or hosts it had. The results show that the original strategy of genus Sphecodes is specialization and generalists originated from specialized ancestors only recently. The results also show that the jumps between the hosts are common. These findings are inconsistent with the Red Queen hypothesis as well as with the view that specialization is an evolutionary dead end. Falsity of these hypotheses within the genus Sphecodes established also likelihood ratio test, in which the likelihood of model allowing two-way transition...

Politické konexe ve veřejných zakázkách: analýza nabídkové strany / Political connections in public procurement: a supply side analysis

Počarovský, Jiří January 2014 (has links)
1 Abstract The public procurement market that accounts for a significant share of the Czech GDP represents an institution of high rent-seeking motive and corruption potential. Donations to political parties can be used as an indirect linkage between political parties and firms as potential suppliers of public contracts. We analyse whether connections and donations influence the number of supplied contracts, volume of supplied contracts and the number of bidders in the tendering process. Furthermore the impact of donations and connections on firms' performance and profitability is assessed. We identify significant effects on number of contracts, volume of contracts, dependence on revenues from contracts and number of bidders of both giving donations and history of employing a politically active person.

Evoluce hostitelské specializace a fylogeografie řasníků čeledi Xenidae (Strepsiptera) / Evolution of host specificity and phylogeography of Strepsiptera parsites of the family Xenidae

Benda, Daniel January 2016 (has links)
The twisted-wing parasites (Strepsiptera) are an endoparasitic order of insects with cosmopolitan distribution, which are sister group of Coleoptera. There are about 600 known species up to date. Strepsiptera parasitize seven insect orders (Thysanura, Orthoptera, Blattodea, Mantodea, Hemiptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera). The family Xenidae is one of the most derived groups of Strepsiptera. Its representatives parasitize aculeate Hymenoptera of three families (Vespidae, Sphecidae, Crabronidae). In comparison to the basal groups, there are well-known hosts for genera of the family Xenidae. Therefore, this group is suitable object for study of the evolution of host specialization. Phylogeny of the family Xenidae was constructed on the basis of molecular analysis of three genes. Moreover, the mapping of ancestral host major groups and biogeographic areas was performed using two methods (parsimony, maximum likelihood). According to the results, the family Xenidae is monophyletic group with Old World origin. There were a several independent switches to the same host groups. This significantly changes the existing ideas about evolution of host specialization and requires a taxonomic revision. Within the family Xenidae, there were several cases of dispersal between the Old World and the New World. Furthermore,...

Inovační aktivity Německa v kontextu smart specializace / Innovation activities in Germany in the context of smart specialisation

Vlčková, Markéta January 2015 (has links)
Economic growth is slowing in many countries. It leads to a discussion on what sources of growth should countries focus. For this purpose, EU created the concept of smart specialization, which puts an emphasis on the most efficient use of public financial resources dedicated to research and development. The aim of this thesis is to find out on what industry Germany as a leader of EU innovation and its individual regions specializes and to identify potential areas for targeting resources to innovation, research and development. This will be determined by using the patent network. The secondary objective is to interconnect findings of patenting and analysis of innovation activities in various regions of Germany with international trade and to determine whether there is a correlation between innovation activity in a particular sector and export of the sector's products abroad.

Vliv květních zdrojů na specializaci pestřenek v železnohorských lučních společenstvech / Effect of floral rewards on specialization of hoverflies (Diptera, Syrphidae) in meadows of Železné hory

Filip, Jan January 2021 (has links)
Traditionally managed temperate semi-natural meadows are generally considered as one of the most diverse habitats worldwide. During the past decades, management changes and abandonment of meadows pose serious threats to communities of both flowering plants and pollinators. However, the extent to which are pollinators affected by changes in floral resources still remain unknown. To investigate the effect of floral resources on visitation specialization, species richness and abundance of hoverflies, pollination networks from 13 meadows in the Železné hory PLA were constructed and analysed. Moreover, patterns were recorded on two spatial scales, in transects and in the whole meadows. To specify the specialization of hoverfly pollinators, unvisited plant species and all resources present on a site (transect/meadow), offered by plants as floral abundance and nectar rewards, was added in the networks. Relationships between plant species richness, floral abundance and nectar sugar production were positively correlated with visitation specialization of hoverflies on the meadow scale. Species richness and abundance of hoverflies was affected by floral resources on the transect scale, unlike the specialization of hoverflies. The usage of extended network indices may act as an improvement towards the better...
