Lepení kovových a nekovových materiálů / Adhesive bonding of metallic and non-metallic materials

Holpuch, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
The aim of diploma thesis was to collect information of the bonding technology and adhesives available in the local market. Another aim was to assess experimentally the properties of adhesive joints made of metallic and non-mettalic materials which were made by selected adhesives. The whole process is evaluated and complemented by techno-economic evaluation of each adhesive and material. This thesis is divided into 4 main chapters. The first part describes the bonding technology. Its history, nature, structure, surface preparation prior to bonding, the choice of adhesive and the all important factors which must be taken into account when bonding. The next section includes experimental test of strength for metallic and non-metallic materials. In the following part is a detailed evaluation of the strength of the adhesive used. The conclusion is a complete techno-economic assessment, which is supplemented by tables and graphs.

Vliv současné hospodářské krize na kontrolu spojování soutěžitelů v EU / An impact of the recent economic crisis upon the control of mergers of competitors in the EU

Bartoš, Petr January 2012 (has links)
An impact of the recent economic crisis upon the control of mergers of competitors in the EU The purpose of this thesis is to analyse an impact of the recent economic crisis upon the control of mergers of competitors in the EU. It is established as an initial hypotheses that the economic crisis had considerable impact upon the EC merger control. The thesis is composed of six chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the above mentioned topic. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic terminology used in the thesis. The chapter is subdivided into two parts. Part One describes pre-crisis legal framework of EC merger control. Part Two deals with dominant pre-crisis theoretical approaches towards EC merger control. Chapter Two examines origin and development of the recent economic crisis, various regulatory responses to it, as well as the joint action of EU Member States towards dealing with consequences of the economic crisis. The chapter consists of seven parts, last one of them attempts to compare current situation in the EU with historical example of US antitrust enforcement during national crises. Chapter Three is focused on the impact of the recent economic crisis on EC merger control. It is subdivided into nine parts and provides an outline of the consistency on the principles...

Spojování podniků a soutěžitelů a ekonomická kritéria / Analysis of merger regulation and economical criteria

Gonda, Pavel January 2013 (has links)
Analysis of merger regulation and economical criteria Abstract: The United States of America has been the cradle of merger regulation. During the last century, the application of rules connected with merger assessment was evolving in connection with the then-prevalent economic schools (for example the University of Chicago, etc.) and in connection with the amount of regulation of American economy during certain periods. The Courts make decisions whether or not a merger leads or does not to a significant lessening of competition, whereas the petitioners can be persons affected by relevant merger, states or federal antitrust Agencies (FTC or DOJ). The notifications of the merging parties are being filed with the above Federal Antitrust Agencies according to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act. There are two possible anticompetitive effects of mergers - unilateral effects and coordinated effects. Both effects complement each other. These effects can be prevented by efficiency gains of the merged entity. The merger assessment in the European Union or the Czech Republic is relatively new in comparison with the US. In contrast to the US, the concentrations in the EU and the Czech Republic are cleared by the Antitrust Agencies (namely the European Commission or Czech Competition Office). The decisions...

Spojování segmentů v českých souvětích / Joining Segments in Czech Complex Sentences

Čech, Josef January 2014 (has links)
Title: Joining segments in Czech sentences Author: Bc. Josef Čech Department: Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Vladislav Kuboň Ph.D. e-mail: vk@ufal.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: This thesis follows up segmentation of complex sentences to linguistic motivated objects - segments - and their mutual relations. These relations can be used for next work with segments. Main purpose for mapping relations is their joining into next level unit - clause. Theoretically should be possible to analyse each clause of complex sentence separately. Analysis of set of clauses should be quicker than of analysis whole complex sentence. Segments should be found thanks to linguistic separators and rule approach. Rule approach proves in problem relations between neighbouring segments. This thesis should attest that rule approach is best solution for joining segments into clauses. Position tag of segment was part of this thesis. This tag should be used in methods dealing with segments instead of custom segment. Keyword: segment, clause, tag, joining segments, syntactic analysis

Ochrana hospodářské soutěže - spojování soutěžitelů / Competition Law - Control of Concentrations between Undertakings

Luptáková, Lucia January 2012 (has links)
Competition law - control of concentrations between undertakings Abstract The subject of this thesis is the control of mergers as it is regulated by Czech laws. Control of mergers is one of the cornerstones of competition law. Competition is an important attribute of the market oriented economies all over the world. Since it is not capable of self-regulation it is necessary to set limits for the behavior of the subjects that are taking part in this competition. These limits are set by competition law. The topic is divided into three chapters. The first chapter contains definition of the term competition, in the second there are described basic terms common to all areas of competition law, while at the end of this chapter there is a description of these areas. In the last chapter focus is on control of concentrations itself in the ambit of Czech law. The aim of this work is to describe merger control as it is provided by Act No. 143/2001 on Protection of Competition (ZOHS). The emphasis is on describing different forms of merger and their characteristics which must be met so that a certain transaction could be classified as a merger. Furthermore, this work provides information on conditions that must be fulfilled so that a merger, division of a company and termination of the company accompanied by transfer...

Spojování soutěžitelů v rámci ochrany české hospodářské soutěže / Concentration of Undertakings within Protection of Czech Competition

Radvanovská, Alice January 2018 (has links)
Concentration of Undertakings within Protection of Czech Competition The subject of this diploma thesis is to define the subject of concentration of undertakings, which is one of the parts of competition protection, and to define the way of control of such concentration in the Czech legal order. Without the functioning of competition, the functioning of trade cannot be imagined, and since self-regulation of trade has proved to be inadequate over time, there was nothing else to do than to introduce a regulation regulating the behavior of market players. These standards gave rise to a new branch of law, i.e. competition law. The thesis is divided into nine chapters, the first four being rather interpretative, because they explain the basic concepts and terms used by the Act on the Protection of Competition and the European Commission. The fundamental issue of this work is to explain the definition of the concentration as such, in which, without knowing the various forms of concentration, it would not be possible to correctly identify the operation and properly notify the competition authority. Next, I deal with the procedure of the competitors and subsequently of the Office for the Protection of Competition (hereinafter referred to as "the Office") in the proceedings. I consider significant the adaptation of...

Big data a kontrola spojování podniků v EU / Big data and EU merger control

Bosáková, Viktória January 2018 (has links)
BIG DATA AND EU MERGER CONTROL ABSTRACT The significance of "big data" as a factor in the competitive assessment of mergers in EU has attracted more and more attention in the past years. Today's digital economy revolves around the Internet and information technologies that together enabled collecting and processing previously unimaginable sets of data, high in volume, velocity, variety and value. Data started to present a valuable and important asset to various businesses, mainly active on online platforms. Consequently, companies may engage in strategic mergers in order to acquire profitable data from one another. The aim of this master thesis is to research and analyse whether big data could result in the increased market power of the newly merged company or could have detrimental effects on other competitors present on the market or the competition itself. The main research question therefore is whether big data in its essence could constitute a competitive concern when it comes to data-related mergers. This thesis initially clarifies the concept and characteristics of "big data" in general, whilst demonstrating the increasing significance of data used as assets for businesses in the present digital economy. The research then focuses on what role specific features of data could play in various stages of...
