This thesis deals with the revitalization of residential buildings at their usual price. It deals with the influence of the investment needed to revitalize and its sub-sequent evaluation of the usual price. The work begins with a gradual explanation of terms needed to introduce the issue of valuation of real property. The thesis contains a proposed revitalization of a residential building in the center of Prague. The thesis is an itemized budget for the proposed revitalization. Analysis of the market for the valuation of residential unit is specified professional estimates, which are attached to this work. Calculation of the normal price with the influence of the recommended investment and its subsequent evaluation is indicated at the end of this work.

This thesis focuses on the verification of physical and mechanical characteristics of hardened concrete, especially concrete compressive strength, static and dynamic modulus of elasticity. The job description is to perform a series of laboratory analyzes for structural concrete and evaluate the test results meet requirements that are specified in the European standards for designing buildings. The work also includes selected techniques for risk assessment (FMEA, Pareto diagram, Ishikawa diagram) and their application to selected process. Part of the work is also a static comparison of measured characteristics and consideration of the risks associated with variations in the monitored quantities.

This thesis deals with development of an application supporting management of traffic constructions. The resulting solution consists of a mobile application and a server application. The mobile application allows users to document progress of a construction using integrated camera, maps and GPS, and send collected data to the server. The server application includes a web service for client-server communication, and a web application for database management and processing of the collected data. Apart from the design and implementation, the features and technologies of mobile devices utilized by the application are discussed. The thesis also reviews current most significant mobile platforms and analyses concepts and technologies of cross-platform development, especially Xamarin and MvvmCross, which were used for development of the above-mentioned application.

Upper part of the orogenic crust (superstructure) significantly differs from the lower part of the crust (infrastructure) by structural and metamorphic record. This fundamental observation is explained by interruption of the mutual evolution due to mechanical decoupling of the hot and ductile infrastructure from the cold and brittle superstructure at certain stages of the orogenic evolution. The superstructure-infrastructure transition zone is a rheologically predisposed domain of sharp deformation and metamorphic gradients with polyphase structural record. Understanding of the deformation partitioning in such a rheologically complex setting is a key aspect in linking of the individual deformation stages between upper and lower crust. The transition zone between unmetamorphosed early-Variscan superstructure (Teplá-Barrandian Domain) and late Variscan high- grade infrastructure (Saxothuringian Domain) crops out at the western margin of the Teplá- Barrandian Domain in the Bohemian Massif. This area is a continuous mid- to lower-crustal section with early-Variscan structural and metamorphic record, which is superposed onto pre-Variscan episode. The aim of this work is to introduce the pricing for traffic constructions, more precisely for the road infrastructure in phase of preparation and realisation. There is a specific example of the cost estimating of a realized construction presented here. Then there is an analysis of an example focusing on the compliance with the financial limit of the planned construction. In the theoretical part of this thesis basic information about the traffic in the Czech Republic, a brief overview of the process of construction of roads, and price creation of the road structures with increased attention to cost estimating and possibilities of financing of roads are mentioned. In the last part of the work the evaluation of the work and samples of interesting facts about the current financing of transport constructions are presented.

The project deals with the reconstruction of the former monastery Trinitářského of the order and of the downstream area of the village Zašová. The purpose of remodeling is to create a proposal, which would consist of center socially needed social services and sufficiently, would use the hidden potential of the premises. The subject of the solution are, in particular, objects owned by the municipality, i.e. the actual monastery building, a former school building of the economic objects and the extensive convent garden. In solution is also included consideration of intending over the potential involvement of the parish building and the baroque church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary into the overall idea of the concept. The whole design is trying to cater to the needs of the community, and to highlight also its development potential in the context of the wider surrounding area.

The project deals with the reconstruction of selected parts of the former Ursuline convent and reconstruction of the monastery gardens and the adjacent area of a city block in the city center. Emphasis is placed on new functional use of the monastery premises and its gardens. The newly designed feature in the monastery are divided into three main parts - Halfway House, Coworking and Elementary Art School (artistically oriented). Opening the monastery gardens to the public enhances the attractiveness of the monastery. Below the garden is designed to underground parking, which minimizes the problem with parking in the city center.

The safety evacuation from the fire affected building is the most imported thing, which is bound to the fire safety of building. The evacuation of persons is necessary process and procedure which can safe lives and health in the most of extraordinary event caused by fire of buildings or technologies. The typical efect attend fires set in buildings, which threaten persons, property and fire - fighting fire brigades. These threaten efects are products of combustion, flame, heat and deficiency of oxygen. I present the way how to use the fire safety devices in various types of buildings in my diploma work, above all towards to safety escape persons from the fire affected building. I describe the practical positive and also negative finding during installation and mutual coordination the fire safety devices.

This thesis analyses issues with the management of architectural competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria. The first part focuses on the contest participants and methods for public procurement in architecture in the Czech Republic, and analyses the critical parts of the competition. This is followed by a chapter dedicated to Austrias legal code on architectural competitions. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the current situation with regard to the sustainability of buildings and to their management in architectural competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria. The final chapters compare the process of building retirement homes in Austria and the Czech Republic. The projects compare the announcement of the architectural competition, the management of the competition and the overall process. Both projects are compared for the implementation of sustainability requirements. The aim of my paper is to present and compare architectural competitions in the Czech Republic and Austria, with an analysis of how much the sustainability of buildings is taken into account within the competition rules. This thesis was completed using an analysis of available materials, a description of the situation and a comparative study.

Presented theses dealing with the complex influence of human activity on the environment. Particularly provides the calculation of carbon footprint volume consumed during manufacturing of raw materials used for a normal and a low-energy house. The calculation of the energy performance certificate for both variants is also included. To evaluate of economical demanding investment to both mentioned houses including carbon dioxide disposal, the theoretical calculation of the price of carbon footprint equivalent has to be determined. The aim of this study is an investigation of carbon footprint in construction industry focusing on the production of carbon dioxide during the realization of a normal and low-energy house.
