The intention is to focus on the implementation of the tablet in preschools and how the intentions around the introduction of the tablet take shape in different preschools. The method is semi structured interviews where the respondents consist of 3 preschool directors and 6 teachers where the preschool directors work. This is a relevant subject to illustrate, as the tablet has become a tool in preschool where it seems to be different opinions about how it should be used. This study aims to understand how the implementation can take form in different preschools, what kind of similarities and differences we can see with the intentions of the tablet and if there is need of clarification on the workings of the tablets in preschools. The results show that the intentions around the introduction of the tablet in preschool look different in the preschools, and the implementation of this new technology starts in a small scale with help of photographing and videotaping. In addition to this, there is no specific thought on how the tablets should be implemented in preschool. / Avsikten är att fokusera på implementeringen utav surfplattan i förskoleverksamheten och hur intentionen kring införandet utav surfplattan ser ut på olika förskolor. Metoden är semistrukturerade intervjuer där respondenterna består utav 3 förskolechefer och 6 pedagoger där respektive förskolechef verkar. Detta är ett relevant ämne att belysa, då surfplattan har blivit ett verktyg i förskolan som det verkar finnas olika uppfattningar om vad och hur den skall användas till. Därigenom syftar denna undersökning till att se hur implementeringen utav surfplattan kan se ut på olika förskolor, vad för likheter och olikheter kan vi se med intentionen utav surfplattan och om finns det behov av tydliggörande utav arbetet kring surfplattorna i verksamheten. Resultatet visar på att intentionerna kring införandet utav surfplattor i verksamheten ser olika ut på de representerade förskolorna, samt att implementeringen utav denna nya teknik påbörjas i liten skala med hjälp utav fotografering och filmning. Utöver detta har inga specifika tankar funnits kring hur surfplattorna ska implementeras i verksamheten.

Undersökningen handlar om en kommuns arbete med implementering av surfplattor i förskoleverksamheten samt pedagogernas upplevelse av den nya tekniken i förskolan. I studien belyses pedagogernas syn på surfplattan som ett pedagogiskt verktyg. I undersökningen användes kvalitativa intervjuer som metod. Valet föll sig naturligt då det är en primär metod för att få fram den information man söker. I resultatet visar det sig att kommunen inte hade någon plan på hur arbetet med surfplattor i förskolan skulle se ut. Det visar sig även att pedagogerna saknar en arbetsplan och kompetens för att använda surfplattan som ett pedagogiskt verktyg. Pedagogerna lyfter tidsbrist som en bidragande faktor till att arbetet inte utvecklas som de önskar. Slutsatserna blir att surfplattan som införskaffades för två år sedan ännu inte har blivit implementerad i den dagliga verksamheten. Enligt min undersökning saknas det både kontinuitet och arbetsplan i arbetet med surfplattan. / The study is an investigating of a municipality’s work with implementations of tablet computer in preschool, and the pedagogues’ experience of the new technique. In the study the pedagogues’ experiences of the tablet computers are illuminated. Quantitative interviews were used to receive the required information, since it is a principal method applicable for this study. The result shows that the municipality did not have any plans for how the work with the tablet computers in preschool was going to proceed. It is also obvious that the pedagogues don’t have the competence nor the work plan to use the tablet computer as a pedagogical tool. The pedagogues are mentioning lack of time as a contributory factor in the matter. The conclusion is that the tablet computer, obtained two years ago, has not been implemented in the daily work. There is a lack in both continuity and work plan when it comes to the tablet computer according to my study.

Syftet med studien är att den ska bidra med kunskap om förskollärares uppfattningar om ämnet teknik och lärplattan i förskolan. Studien har genomförts med semistrukturerade interjuver med ljudinspelning tillsammans med sex förskollärare från tre kommuner. Hälften av deltagarna hade genomfört NTA-utbildningar inom teknik och alla hade tillgång till lärplatta i verksamheten. En slutsats är att arbetet med teknik och lärplattan i förskolan har kommit framåt, sedan ämnet teknik förtydligades mer i läroplanen och lärplattan introducerades i förskolan, men inte i samma utsträckning hos alla. Resultatet visar att de som har utbildning känner sig mer självsäkra på ämnet teknik. En annan slutsats är att förskollärarna uttrycker att det går att arbeta med teknik vid användandet av lärplattan, det gäller bara att komma på hur. Det visar sig även i resultatet att det är viktigt att granska apparna på lärplattan för att se om de är lämpliga och pedagogiska. / The purpose of the study is to contribute with knowledge about preschool teachers views about the subject of technology and the learning tablet in the preschool. The study has been conducted with semestructured interviews with sound recording together with six preschool teachers from three municipalities. Half of the participants had completed NTA-educations in technology and everyone had access to a learning tablet in the preschool. One conclusion is that the work with technology and the learning tablet in the preschool has come forward, since the subject of technology was more clarified in the curriculum and the learning tablet was introduced in the preschool, but not to the same extent among them all. The result shows that those who have education feel more confident about the subject of technology. Another conclusion is that the preschool teachers say that it is possible to work with technology when using the learning tablet, it is only a matter of getting to know how. It also appears in the result that it is important to examine the apps on the learning tablet to see if they are suitable and educational.
