Vliv smartphonů na partnerské vztahy v ,,tekuté modernitě" / Influence of smartphones on partnership in ,,liquid modernity''Majorosová, Eva January 2019 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to explore the influence that smartphones have on personal (romantic) relationships. The thesis examines the influence of smartphones on private lives of partners. The first part of the thesis focuses on literature review presenting key studies that pursued similar topics as the research project. The research as such is described in the following chapters. The methodological basis of the project are in-depth interviews accompanied by questionnaire. The main part of the thesis is description of the research questions, the research sample, the process of analysis, and the interpretation of results of in-depth interviews and questionnaire. The achieved results were interpreted in the context of selected theoretical concepts. Mainly the concepts of Liquid modernity / Liquid love by Zygmunt Bauman and iDisorder by Larry Rosen were used. The aim of the thesis was to find out what kind of influence smartphones have on meeting a potential partner, on a consequent relationship, and also on a possible separation.

Jak orientovat sociální vztahy v době krize? / How to orient social relations in times of crisis?Littmann, Petr January 2020 (has links)
This work that called How to orientate social relationships in the crisis period? is concerned with works of three chosen authors of European philosophical phenomenological tradition in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. They are Zygmunt Bauman (Pole), Byung-Chul Han (Korean living in Europe for longer time) and Anna Hogenová (Czech). This work has built according to uniform scheme for all three authors. It presents their life and work shortly then presents their ideas and conceptions in a longer face. It also presents response of their works by chosen authors from The Czech Republic and foreigners. Important ideas and conceptions have to serve as a possible way in a help for social work and also for description, analysis, possible development and solution of problems that arise in the crisis period or - as well as told with Bauman - in liquid times. This work has written i terms of Christian Crisis and Pastoral Work - Diaconia so it contents also reference to this subject of study. This work derives from works of three main authors and from works of next ones, too. An important part is a work with Holy Scripture.

Svět kýče a možnosti Ecovy sémiotiky masové komunikace / The world of Kitsch and possibilities of Eco`s Semiotics of Mass CommunicationSedláková, Anna January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis explores the phenomenon of kitsch. One of the aims of the thesis is to address significant theories (H. Broch, M. Kundera, P. Rezek and T. Kulka) and to analyze them further in relation to the central concept of Umberto Eco, which defines kitsch as a communication. According to Eco, kitsch is not to be defined solely by the structural qualities of the work, but also by the intention that the author creates and by the means that the work is later perceived by the audience. The focus of this thesis is to be pointed not on the kitsch as a definition of a certain type of object and its aesthetic evaluation, but rather on the attitudes and interpretations that transform objects and thoughts into kitsch. Another aim of the thesis is to mark a possible shift in conception of kitsch in context of the changes brought by the age of new media - the changes that radically change the ways of communication, and the organization of society, too. Such change proposes the use of kitsch both as an emotional and simplifying approach. Kitsch, in its wider conception, becomes a pervasive and actual phenomenon. In addition to the characteristics of new media, the thesis uses the concept of Cyberculture by Pierre Lévy and the Liquid Times theory of Zygmunt Bauman. In its conclusion, the thesis attempts to...

Morfologická a genomická charakterizace cirkulujících nádorových buněk u metastatického kolorektálního karcinomu / Morphological and Genomic Profiling of Circulating Tumor Cells in Metastatic Colorectal CancerThiele, Jana-Aletta January 2018 (has links)
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer worldwide; it is responsible for nearly 10% of all newly diagnosed cancers and is the second most cause of cancer related death in Europe. Biomarkers for therapy guidance, targeted therapy and survival prognosis are still limited. As CRC is a heterogeneous disease, different parts of the tumor might have varying molecular characteristics which may change during therapy or disease progression. Through solid biopsies and screenings, these local or temporal differences are impossible to monitor. To facilitate detection of these possible temporal changes, a regularly and non-invasively accessible biomarker is required for disease monitoring. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) might represent such a biomarker as they have been shown to be fluid surrogates of the solid tumor. EpCAM positive CTCs have shown to be prognostic in CRC for survival, but their full potential has not yet been evaluated further. By using the High Definition Single Cell Analysis (HD-SCA) workflow, we were able to analyze the entire spectrum of CTCs and categorize them as the regular CTCs (HD-CTC), CTCs with a smaller nuclear area (CTC-Small), CTCs with low expression of epithelial marker cytokeratin (CTC-LowCK) and CTCs undergoing apoptosis and therefore releasing cell free DNA...
