Beránková, Kamila January 2011 (has links)
Annotation: Title: Tennis and its training in the tennis schools The aim of my diploma work is to map the training process in the tennis schools where the young pupils are being trained and find out if they have the quality conditions for their training nowadays. I tried to determine with the aid of the specialized literature what kind of instruments the pupils have at the disposal. These and other knowledges related to the quality of the environment in the tennis schools I tried to map all over the Czech Republic. By support of the elaborated qustionnaire that I distributed to the coaches of the pupils I colected the information about the way and the quality of the training on the particular schools. In conclusion I interviewed Mrs. Stasa Matejovska the leader of the private tennis school. Detecting the concrete specifics of this school helped me to develop the questionnaire to more detailed information and to summarize my work better. Key words: tennis, tennis coaches, tennis schools

Analýza nadhozu a zásahu u tenisového podání / Analysis of the toss and impact in the tennis serve

Tyl, Slavomír January 2015 (has links)
Title: Analysis of the toss and impact in the tennis serve Objectives: The objective of our work is to analyse the phase of toss and hit in tennis serve and to compare the results between the players themselves. Methods: As the main method of data collection we used kinematic 3D analysis. Additional method was semi-structured interview with selected players for research. Results: We found that more stable performance at the phase of toss and hit achieves the player with the higher position on the tennis ranking. Furthermore we found that the ball in all serves was hit in front of the players body. The largest range of variation (most unstable) in both players was width M, that means hitting ball in a frontal plane in consideration of the vertical axis Y established by left foot tip designed by the server's. Conversely the most stable in both players was height of shoulders when hit. Keywords: tennis serve, toss, hit, kinematic 3D analysis

Gavendová, Karolína January 2021 (has links)
Title: Identification of brain areas in anticipation during tennis Objectives: The main aim of diploma theses is identification of brain areas responsible for anticipation and making decision during watching tennis rallies at tennis players by functional magnetic resonance. Methods: The research group consists of 10-12 competitive tennis players aged 18-28. The research takes place at the hospital in Motol. Before the examination itself, the probands are instructed on the course and conditions of testing. Testing consists of examining the brain to see if the proband is healthy, testing anticipation with a video of tennis rallies followed by a resting state phase to evaluate regional interactions. The video consists of 6 blocks separated by a static image lasting 20 s. Each block contains 6 videos with tennis rallies. Each video lasts exactly 6 s, including 300 ms to stop the tennis rallies. The tennis rallies are stopped when the ball is over the tennis net or on the player's racket. The task of the proband is to monitor the tennis rallies and after stopping to determine whether the subsequent stroke will fly to the left or right side of the tennis court, or to the center. The target data are formed from functional magnetic resonance images, probands' responses to individual rallies, and response...

Sportovně - rekreační centrum Vsetín, Ohrada / Sports and Recreation Centre Vsetín, Ohrada

Košňar, František Unknown Date (has links)
The architecture and urban planning study of the Ohrada sports grounds examines the possibility of building a multipurpose sports and recreation centre in the Vsetín – Ohrada location. Currently, the grounds are in a very poor condition. With respect to the dimensions of the grounds, the roofed stands of the Spartakiad stadium serving a lodging house along with the tennis club facilities fail to fulfill its potential. I approached the area layout in a way which enables a clearly identifiable morphology of the buildings with an accentuated maximum utilization of daylight, open space, greenery, and social interaction to combine ideas and needs of the future generation and thus give the location a new genius loci. The biggest challenge of the complex layout of the whole site was to find a meaningful use for the great amount of soil found in the decaying stands. I find the best solution in creating an accessible, walkable mass that provides several different sections with various atmospheres and purposes. This concept resulted in a study which uses the qualities of the premises and complements them with a number of sports and recreational activities. The fundamental idea was to create a public leisure space with a focus on a great variability of the purpose of the grounds to make it useful for a wide range of public across generations. This led to the creation of several main masses which divide the location, reduce the scale of the area and give it a different atmosphere. At the same time, the grounds are freely accessible and open to the public. A long-term, functioning society demonstrates an ability to treat public and semipublic space with respect. The area in front of and in between buildings becomes, therefore, more important than the buildings themselves. At such a moment, one can talk of a sustainable public life.
