Vliv feritových nanočástic na termální expozici fantomu biologické tkáně mikrovlnnou termoterapií / Effect of Ferrite Nanoparticles on the Thermal Exposure of Biological Tissue Phantom by Microwave Thermotherapy

Fišer, Ivan January 2012 (has links)
Goal of this master thesis is describe effect of ferrite nanopartickles FeSi and FeH on the thermal exposure of biological tissue phantom by microwave Thermotherapy. Blank samples and the samples with increased concentration nanopartickles FeSi and FeH were prepared. Exposition was performed by open cavity resonator with 2, 45 GHz generator. Temperature profiles were taken by thermocamera Flir P25. Results of both types of samples were compared and were statistically interpreted. Agar samples with nanopartickles FeSi and FeH show higher increase of temperature, than blank samples. The differences are not statistically significant. Keywords: Microwave thermotherapy, nanopartickles

Vliv pasivní rehabilitace na spasticitu při skleróze multiplex / Passive rehabilitation affecting on spasticity of multiplex sclerosis

Prášil, Jakub January 2011 (has links)
Title: The influence of a passive rehabilitation on spasticity in multiple sclerosis Objectives: The main objective is to summarize the current knowledge about multiple sclerosis and the possibilities of influencing the spasticity as a serious symptom. Another objective is to verify the effectiveness of the antispastic passive rehabilitation of the lower limbs of selected patient in practice. Methods: Verification of the effectiveness of the system of antispastic passive rehabilitation of the lower limbs was through a qualitative research. For the work design is used the type of qualitative experiment. The research sample is a person with spasticity in the lower limbs. In the first two parts of the work was used an analysis of scientific literature and a content analysis. The strategy of data obtaining is also in the form of observation, interviewing, measuring, scale and variety. A medical documentation, anamnesis, casuistry and a secondary analysis were used. Results: Individual use of each method resulted in the influence of spasticity only for a short time. Mobility was affected in the sense of passive movement the most after the soft techniques and massage therapy. The most striking results were achieved after the use of all methods when the spasticity was positively influenced in accordance...

Sledování tvarových změn kosterního svalu v závislosti na povrchové teplotě těla / Observing of the skeletal muscle shape changes depending on human body surface temperature

Frýdová, Aneta January 2015 (has links)
Title: Observing of the skeletal muscle shape changes depending on human body surface temperature Objectives: The aim of this work is to observe the cross-section changes of the m. rectus femoris depending on human body surface temperature changes. The cross section of the muscle was characterized by two dimensions: VDDM (ventrodorsal dimension of muscle) and LMDM (lateromedial dimension of muscle). The body temperature was affected by local positive and negative thermotherapy methods. Methods: The first part of the experiment focused on the selection of appropriate local positive and negative thermotherapy forms. Four of them were selected (two positive thermotherapy methods - Peat thermotherapy bags and infrared heater InfraPhil HP3616 and two negative thermotherapy methods - gel bag Cryoflex and Cryogen 3 device) for the main research. Twelve subjects participated on the main experiment. Selected local positive thermotherapy methods were applied on the centre of the subject's thighs, subsequently selected negative thermotherapy methods were applied. The body surface temperature was measured immediately before application, after 30 minutes of positive thermotherapy and after subsequent negative thermotherapy application. Ultrasound images of m. rectus femoris were taken at same time. VDDM and...

Léčebné a regenerační účinky kryoterapie u generace 50+ / Therapeutic and Regenerative Effects of Cryotherapy on the 50+ generation

SOSNOVÁ, Eva January 2017 (has links)
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the life style, regeneration, and relaxation with the focus on the application of cold to treat the elderly. The work explains the use of cryotherapy from both historical and scientific points of view. The aim is to introduce the method of cryotherapy as a popular method which postpones the beginning of dependency and motion impairment with people aged over 50 and thus enables them to keep active much longer. Although the 21st century medicine has reached an extraordinary success, the number of illnesses does not decrease. There is a wide variety of civilisation illnesses resulting from the wrong life style. For such illnesses drugs with frequent side effects are prescribed. The work introduces cryotherapy as one of the methods which can serve the health protection, prevention, the treatment of traumatic injuries, and the supportive therapy of different health problems with relatively no side effects.

Změny centrální reaktibility v průběhu termické stimulace monitorované pomocí elektromagnetické tomografie (sLORETA) / Changes in central reactibility during thermal stimulation monitored by electromagnetic tomography (sLORETA)

Richtrová, Eva January 2020 (has links)
Title: Changes in central reactivity during thermal stimulation monitored by electromagnetic tomography (sLORETA) Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to determine whether there are any changes in central reactivity during local thermal stimulation by heat and cold and to compare the effect of analgesic electrical stimulation by TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) applied after single thermal stimuli. The brain activity was scanned from the scalp EEG and the results were evaluated by using sLORETA program. Methods: Twelve young, healthy people over the age of 21 participated in this study. The requirement for the participation in this experiment was good health condition without any neurological or other diagnoses. The electrical activity of the brain was being recorded throughout the whole experiment using a 32-channel EEG cap. The measurement had multiple parts. During the whole experiment, the participants were lying on the therapeutic table and all stimuli were applied locally to the right hand. Firstly, the EEG was recorded while participants were resting with closed eyes for five minutes. Then we realized a measurement of a two-minute long application of electrical stimulation of TENS in above-threshold sensitive intensity, which was individual for each participant. The...

Vliv prostředků termoterapie na posturální stabilitu měřenou pomocí přístroje NeuroCom SMART Equitest / The Effect of Thermotherapy on Postural Stability assessed via NeuroCom SMART Equitest

Šupolík, Pavel January 2021 (has links)
Title: The Effect of Thermotherapy on Postural Stability assessed via NeuroCom SMART Equitest Objective: The aim of this study is ti determine whether a one-time application of positive or negative thermotherapy has a positive or negative effect on the postural stability and/or balance in a sample of healthy young adults. The tool for achieving this goal will be statistical analysis of the results of the computerized dynamic posturography before and after application of thermotherapy. And futher a comparison with the results of the control examination. Methods: In this study we have used one-time application of positive and negative thermotherapy in the form of water immersion. A total of ten women and ten men with average age 24 years (sd = 2,18), average height 174,45 centimeters (sd = 7,72) and average weight 78,10 kilograms (sd = 18,10) took part in our study. We assessed postural stability via the NeuroCom SMART Equitest test battery. The assessment was carried out without the use of head tracker accessory. We tested each participant three times in three different days. During each day one condition was applied. Conditions consisted of positive thermotherapy (temperature of 40 řC), cryotherapy (temperature of 4 řC) and control condition. Within each session two examination were made, divided...
