This diploma thesis deals with urbanonyms (place-names) in town Mnichovo Hadiště. Our task is a list of names of streetsin the historic heart of town, names of adjacent streets and streets of the newerneighborhoods. We follow the evolution of naming streets after the first third of the 20th century to the present. Street names sorted in terms of sociolinguistic. Particularattention is given to the honores theme and its variations during the historicaldevelopment. The work is supplemented by alphabetical index of street names. The aim of this work is to contribute to onomastika (own naming names) in town Mnichovo Hradiště.

Pomístní jména v katastrálních územích obce Bezděkov v okrese Klatovy / Anoikonyms in cadastre units in the municipality of Bezděkov, district of Klatovy

The topic of this master thesis focuses the occurrence of anoikonyms in the cadastral area of Bezděkov near Klatovy and its belonging villages. Marginally, it builds on the bachelor theses that had analysed the oikonyms of the Ecoregion Úhlava where the abovementioned cadastral area is situated. This topic has been extended to minor-place names, the anoikonyms. The research is based on a data set available in the digital database of Geoportal ČÚZK (Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre). The categorization of anoikonyms is executed according to Vladimír Šmilauer's classification, further according to Jana Pleskalová's model analyses of minor-place names which is based on Rudolf Šrámek's classification of toponyms. Libuše Olivová-Nezbedová's formal classification has been also taken account of. A derivational analysis of anoikonyms is included. The goal of this thesis is to list and classify the minor-place names in the cadastral area of Bezděkov.

Francouzské překlady pražských toponym / French translation of Prague toponyms

This thesis deals with french translations of Prague toponyms. The first part contains a brief description of onomastics and toponomastics. Next, the term place names (toponyms) is defined. Afterwards this part is dedicated to the classification and the translation of toponyms. The next part of thesis is focused on the analysis of particular translations of prague place names. Firstly, they are divided into seven groups and then the terms are analysed from two different perspectives : translatological analysis and culturally - historical analysis. The aim of first analysis is to determine the translated terms from view of the six translation procedures. The second part observes the culturally - historical context of names which is also important in translation. The bilingual dictionary of analysed terms is attached at the end of the thesis.

Anoikonyma a mikroanoikonyma na Žďársku / Anoikonyms and microanoikonyms in the Žďársko region

This thesis focuses on 375 minor place-names (hydronyms, oronyms and land names) in the region of Žďársko. The origin of 185 anoikonyms is studied from a linguistic aspect for the first time; the other names are taken from my bachelor thesis. The objective of this thesis is to determine the origin of given minor place-names. The required information was searched in various printed materials, journals and also on the Internet. As an important source for examination several local witnesses have been interviewed and consultation with experts in onomastic was conducted. Methods such as collection, analysis and interpretation of the collected data were used in this thesis. Consequently, after the origin was clarified, the anoikonyms were analyzed according to the so called model theory - it was assigned to individual relational and structural models or types. This thesis aims for systematical approach to minor place-names and their preservation for future generations.

This thesis deals with the names of streets, squares, embankments, parks and bridges in Tabor. Based on archival sources, cartographic tracks changes names Tabor streets in five historical periods during the 20th century. In each period, the newly - granted titles arranged in passwords, which explain their semantic motivation. Emphasis is placed on exploring the development honorifikačního motive in naming streets, thus awarding the title by important personalities, events, places and values that do not usually have a designated place of a direct link. The final section analyzes the formal formation of the current and defunct street names and submit their structural classification. The thesis aims to analyze the terminology street in the center of Tabor and their development, and contribute to the local place names, which have so far not been addressed.

Firstly, the developments of the street names as well as their changes since the beginning of the twentieth century are described. Toponymy of names found both in historical centre as well as other city districts is analysed in the main part of the thesis. Urbanonyms are semantically classified with a special attention to honorific theme. The linguistic classification analyzing word-forming structure is also attached. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to the known toponymy of the city of Pisek.

This diploma thesis deals with names of streets, squares, embankments and parks in the town Volyně in the district of Strakonice. Based on archival sources, it researches the development of the local street names in seven historical periods since the first designation in 1871 to the present. In every period the names are organized into a dictionary that explains their semantic motivation. A classification according to particular semantic categories is included, too. Attention is paid to the development of honorific motivation in street designation which means giving names of significant personalities, historical events, places and values that mostly have no connection with the designated place. The final part analyses the formation of both present and defunct street names and brings their structural classification. The aim of the diploma thesis is to explore systematically the designations of streets in Volyně and their development, and thus contribute to the knowledge of the local toponymy and the history of the town.

This diploma thesis deals with the dynamic changes of the street terminology system in the town of Melník from the second half of the 19th century to the present. There are cases where it is necessary to study, which are located under the field of historical toponomastics, respecting its parts that have urbanonymy. The works carry out, show and analyze the issue of street names that move in the town of Melník during the period under review. The work is in five places, the first part of which consists of analysis and heuristics, which allows the analysis of documents, especially documents that are focused on documents that are part of the Melnik archive and Archive of Department of Construction and Development of the Municipal Office in Mělník. Remember that you keep in mind the city councils, you write down the city's national committee, letters etc. The second chapter, which is part of the subchapter by period, lists historical developments that have urban and significant changes. The third place is the municipal toponomastic analysis of Melnik street terminology from the point of view of basic onymic functions of urban names and from the point of view of the use of honorification names. This diploma thesis extends the bachelor thesis research that analysed whether and what characteristic features appear in ordinary language of native speaker who come from Jiratice. The goal of this thesis is linguistic analysis of official, unofficial personal names, minorplace and local names in Jiratice or in its nearby vicinity. These names are collected from written sources and from interviews with witnesses. The collected material is organized into a dictionary that analyses primarily the motivation of each name. The complex of names is also classified according to various criteria. The aim of the diploma thesis is to contribute partially to the Czech onymic research.
