The main objective of my thesis was evaluate the two-month motion reduction program by determining changes in body fat of fitness clients. The study included a total of 61 persons from that 29 men and 32 women. Used were basic anthropometric methods - calliperation method and calculation of percent body fat according to Pařízková, bioelectric impedance BIA, calculating the percentage of body fat according to Deurenberg and BMI. The study foresees reduction program success (reduction in body weight, body fat and BMI values for all participants of the investigation file), the possibility of using regression equations establishing the percentage of body fat in terms of fitness, improvement of physical and mental well-being of clients and increasing the motivation for the next sport activities. Diploma thesis is dealing with the quality and use of puff pastry from the few point's of view. From the sensory, technological and health as well. Twelve samples has been used in all, six samples were child and six were frozen. All samples were bought. Theoretical part describes the history, used raw materials, technology of production and healthy aspects of puff pastry. Practical part was focused on the overall analyse of the bought samples. Senzory analysis was performed before and after baking, staiting of amound of fat, assesing of fragility on TIRA test 27025, spectrophotometric staiting of colour and measuring of the height of product after baking. Sensory and objective methods of measuring showed diferences between individual samples. On the whole you can say that chilled pastry came out better. Sampel no. 3 was the best. Sample no. 9 was the best among frozen pastry. The meassured results showed on the suitability of samples. When sample no. 12 is the suited for the production of kremeš on the contrary no. 3, 5, 6 are suited better for strudel and apple pie.

Vliv kondice prasnic na jejich následnou reprodukční užitkovost / Influence of condition sows on their subsequent reproductive performance

The aim was to assess the effect of condition of sows on subsequent reproductive performance. Fitness was assessed based on subjective evaluation using a five-point scale from 1 to 5. Rating condition was performed in a group of around 162 pieces by the current cast piglet always for the reproductive period before birth and before weaning, at intervals during 2009 and 2010. The company has been annually monitored and backfat thickness of sows selected for the period before birth and before weaning. The results of subjective assessment of condition of sows found that sows in the measured density reached an optimal condition in the range of 3,5 to 4 points. The best condition in sows before parturition was on the 3rd, 4th and 7 litter. Before weaning sows were fit from 2,5 to 3,5 points. In the period before weaning reached 450 sows condition 3 with an average of 13,14 pieces of piglets born to 10,21 piglets born alive. In assessing the data on the height of back fat measured now been found that the examined sows ranged average amount of fat in the range of optimum condition for each reproductive period before parturition 19,85 mm, 16,52 mm before weaning, and the difference was 3,33 mm. The statistics were revealed in the amount of fat before birth dependent on the number of piglets (p=0.02), which is statistically significant indicator. At the height of the fat before weaning (p=0.65), the relationship is statistically insignificant. The biggest statistical dependence (p=0.00) difference was found in fat, which tells us that with increasing height of fat before birth increases the amount of fat before weaning. In the last part of the data on the reproductive performance compared to those undertaking trade mark under the key ?reproduction?. It was found that the company has a prejty good level of breeding, despote some fluctuatins in farming losses as a percentage of piglets and sows pregnancy. The company reached the average (between 2008 and 2010) in weaned piglets per sow and year of 21,23 pc, live born piglets per sow and year of 25,37 pc at 2,33 litters per sow per year, but has a large loss of suckling piglets , an average of 10,32 % and 3,78 % rearing, the percentage of sows insemination was 80 % of the company, should be min. 85 %. Due to deteriorating indicators monitored the implementation of an enterprise for restocking.

Title: Specifics of Pre-Competition Training in Bodybuilding and it's Influence on Body Composition Objectives: The aim of this thesis is description of specifics nutrition and training methods in pre-competition training in bodybuilding and practical assessment of their influence on body composition in the test subjects. Methods: Skinfold calliper technique using callipers type Best and bioimpedance analysis using devices BIA 2000 and Tanita MC-980. Results: After completing of intervention program and measurement of body composition, compiled on the basis of negative energy balance, using carbohydrate restriction combined with high-intensity strength training and subsequent measurement of body composition, we found an expected changes of their parameters as was observed their individual response on intervention. Both subjects achieved a significant reduction of subcutanneous fat (proband no. 1 = - 7 %, proband no. 2 = - 3,2 %) and total fat (proband no. 1 = - 2,7 ± 0,3 %, proband no. 2 = - 3,2 ± 0,4 %). Furthermore we observed a distinct change in the total amount of muscle mass (proband no. 1 = - 2,5 kg, proband no. 2 = + 1,1 kg) while deterioration of muscle quality defined by changes of ECM / BCM coefficient values. Intersexuální rozdíly v markerech adipozity u současných českých dětí ve věku 11 - 15 let / Intersexual differences of adiposity markers in contemporary Czech children aged 11 - 15 years

Thesis is focused on the analysis of intersexual differences in adiposity markers within urban population of Czech children from 11,00 to 15,99 years. This age range encompasses puberty which is one of the critical periods for the possible development of overweight and obesity. The sample PRAHA 2013 consists of 356 girls and 353 boys which were surveyed for basic anthropometric indicators - body height, body weight, BMI, mid- upper arm circumference and the thickness of four skinfolds. Intersexual differences discovered in measured parameters show statistical significance (p<0,01 resp. p<0,001) and it corresponds with the characteristic changes of pubertal development in both of genders. Testing file PRAHA 2013 against reference standards and its comparison with the results of the last Czechoslovak spartakiade in 1985 points to positive secular trend of increasing body height. However increase in weight parametres is still continuing. Probands from the year 2013 reach higher body weight values, BMI and skinfold thickness in comparison with children of the same age in 1985, 1991 resp. 2001. Significant differences were found out in the most of age categories in both of genders. Vybrané auxologické aspekty menarche / Selected auxological aspects of menarche

Thesis aims to analyze some auxological aspects of menarche in a sample of peripubertal school-aged Prague girls. Sample PRAHA 2012 consists of 293 girls from Prague within the age ranging from 11,00 - 14,99 years. Ascertained median age of menarche 12,4 years is significantly lower (p = 0,0004) than median of Prague population - 13,04 years, respectively lower than median age of menarche of Czech population - 13,00 years according to data from the last national anthropological survey (CAV 2001). Our investigation suggests a "break off" in long-term stagnation age of menarche (minus 0,6 year) at least in a urban population in Czech Republic. According to our findings deceleration age of menarche wasn't accompanied by increase of average body height or other nutritional characteristics (body weight, BMI, arm circumference, thickness of skinfolds) in comparison with actual pediatrics standards. Though, there is a clearly evidence that participant's body composition affected age of menarche. A comparison of premenarcheal (n = 139) and postmenarcheal (n = 154) girls of the same age showed statistically significant elevated values in body weight (42,5 kg, 47,6 kg vs 56,3 kg, 54,1 kg), BMI (17,6 kg/mš, 18,3kg/mš vs 21,3 kg/mš, 20,7 kg/mš) and percentage of body fat (19,4%, 19,7% vs 24,5% a 23,1%) at...
