The thesis is devoted to analysis of production and reproductive performance of sows of basic herd in agricurtural cooperativ Agra Březnice for the years 2010 and 2011. Sows from breeding core of the nucleic stud, sows from nucleic stud as a whole and sows from reproductive stud were integrated in the observation.The Large White breed paternal line focused attention on the reproductive characteristics, the results of their own performance and results of unified testing. The planting of breeding sows focused attention on reproductive characters in the production of stainless crossbreed sow Czech White paternal line x Czech landrase.

Jakostní parametry trvanlivých fermentovaných masných výrobků / Quality parameters of dry fermented sausages

The aim of this study was to evaluate quality parameters of dry fermented sausages. Samples of two types of dry fermented sausages were sampled – sausage “Poličan“ and “Lovecký salám“, from three different producers. Basic physical-chemical analysis of quality parameters were performed in sausage mixture and immediately after end of ripening (21 days for Poličan and 16 days for Lovecký salám). Results of quality parameters analysis were compared with requirements of Czech legislation and differences between producers were observed. There were significant differences between producers, however all of them met requirements set by 326/2001 Czech notification as amended of Ministry of agricultural.

Title: Lifestyle changes to lifestyle modification for people with multiple sclerosis Aim: Designing a program that affects lifestyle, fitness and physiological parameters in subjects of different age and different sex of people who have a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS). Method: A literary review to make a summary of knowledge on MS and use of physical activities as opportunities to influence the overall lifestyle of people with MS. Results: The result is an overview of the programs and its evaluation - changes in physiological parameters, condition and subjective feelings. We found that when respecting the state of health programs may be implemented in the long term. Conclusion: The success of interventions depends on collaboration, time availability, but also the respecting of the designed programs of people involved. At the same time, however, assumes that an active lifestyle affects the mental aspect of individuals and their subjective feelings. The project focuses on dietary interventions in type 2 diabetes(T2D). The aim was to investigate how glucose metabolism and other manifestations of insulin resistance should be influenced by a) the composition of macronutrients and b) frequency of meals; and to characterize the possible mechanisms of these dietary interventions in patients with T2D. A. In a randomized crossover study, 50 patients T2D and 50 age-matched healthy subjects underwent in a random order meal tolerance tests with three isocaloric meals (vegan sandwich; V-meal, hamburger; M-meal, or cheese sandwich; S-meal. Blood samples for analysis were taken at time 0 and after 30, 60, 120 and 180 minutes after meal ingestion. Plasma concentrations of plasma glucose, insulin, C-peptide, lipids, oxidative stress markers and gastrointestinal hormones (GIHs) were investigated. Both basal and postprandial plasma concentrations of glucose and insulin were significantly higher in patients with T2D (p<0.001); basal and postprandial concentrations of almost all other GIHs (except for ghrelin) and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) were significantly increased (p<0.001), while ascorbic acid, reduced glutathione and superoxide dismutase activity were decreased in patients with T2D compared to healthy controls (p<0.001). Title: Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit of physical education on fitness of girls from seventh grade of elementary school. Aim: The aim of the empirical part is to monitor the proportional representation of the motoric activities during the time given in the lessons of physical education of the seventh grade girls, and along with the chosen methods of testing of these individuals, to prove or disprove possible influence of the composition of the P.E. lessons on the chosen segments of their fitness. Methods: Various methods were used for testing the considered sample. These were the standardized motoric tests (intense forward bend when sitting, place-jump with legs together, endurance in a pull-up, hand grip) which investigate the chosen segments of the fitness. Another method used was the bioimpedance which measures the parameters of body composition. The data were recollected quantitatively and the results were also processed quantitatively by means of statistic parameters, such as arithmetic mean, variation span and determinative deviation.
