The objective of the dissertation is confrontation of influence of different methodics on the financial health of a company on ranking of a company. Selected models of financial health classify the file of 149 agricultural companies. Particular task is to determine 5 agricultural companies with the best indicator of financial health and 5 companies with the worst indicator. At this chosen file of five best and five worst companies is subsequently evaluated rate of weighted factors on the overall value of financial health. At the same time the influence of one and two indicators on the overall financial health of a company is analysed. Ascertained results are processed/compiled in the form of charts and are verbally commented.

The aim of this thesis was to assess the relationship between motion activity of dairy cattle as measured using activity meters and reproduction, production and health parameters. For a one-year period the motion activity of 210 dairy cows was monitored. The results show that at the start of the rutting period there is a noticeable increase in motion activity (mainly during nighttime hours), specifying the exact start of rutting and the subsequent insemination. If the rutting period is detected accurately the percentage of dairy cows that are impregnated increases. Using activity meters improves reproduction indicators. Motion activity in sick cattle is generally reduced and after a warning the animals can be treated in time. The relationship between motion activity and production parameters is statistically inconclusive.

The objective of the presented thesis is to classify the company objectives in the individual phases of its life cycle, to characterise the performance parameters of the company and the sources of financing in relation to the individual phases of its life cycle. We also analyse the performance of a sample company from the South Bohemia region and we assess the existing forms of its financing. Based on this we consider the use of other forms of financing and estimate the impact on the economic results of the company. In the theoretical part we first explain the notions company and business and the individual life cycle phases. Then we discuss the performance of the company in the individual phases of its life cycle. Another chapter focuses on the sources of financing. There are characterised the individual financial resources, divided according to various criteria. We also describe the advantages and disadvantages of the given sources of financing. The practical part contains calculations, tables, graphs and relevant comments on the received values. We assessed the situation of the company Mauring spol. s r.o., that deals in civil engineering in the building industry. We mapped the development of the company in years 1997, 2000, 2003, 2005 and 2008. We analysed the performance of the company with respect to the assessment of the forms of its financing. We also assessed the liquidity and the indebtedness. The return indicators are then compared with the average in the industry. Another part of the work focused on the assessment of the forms of financing of the sample company. We also applied the balancing rules for the company. In the final chapter we assess other forms of financing and the possible impact on the economic results of the company. The final assessment contains a summary of the achieved results as well as my own recommendations for the company {--} what should be focused on in the future in order to improve the performance of the company.

Demographic aging by standard and alternative indicators in selected countries of Europe and their regional differentiation at NUTS2 level Abstract Demographic aging is often called a phenomenon of the 21st century. However, it is a natural process, which we more or less consciously influence. Population aging is the result of improving the health status of the population and enhancing the quality of human life that has already begun in the 18th century in the context of demographic revolution. The current concern about the sustainability of national social systems in the context of population aging are obviously reasonable, but these concerns are based on the standard characteristics of the age structure, which often use a fixed age of entry into the final stage of life. However, with the lengthening of human life the natural boundaries of old age changes. Alternative indicators on the basis of the concept of prospective age do not use the number of years a person has already lived, but on the number of years that a person will probably live. Title: Comparison of the game performance efficiency on the 2014 World Championship for woman in Turkey. Objectives: Compare and describe the effectiveness of selected performance gaming indices in all matches played during the 2014 World Championship in Turkey. The partial aim of the thesis is to find out the relation of the game indicators and the result of the match, which has a difference of 10 or less points. Methods: The main method is the secondary analysis of data that was obtained by direct observation during a match. These data are available to the public on the fiba.com web site in clear tables. Their values were analyzed and subsequently described and evaluated. Results: Using quantitative data processing, we have confirmed the improved efficiency of winning cooperatives in most of the tracked gaming indicators. We also confirmed the inadequate interdependence between one game factor and the result in a match. The thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial performance of the company GEFOS, Inc. The aim is to evaluate the financial performance and impact of the original recommendations, which the company has applied, from the previous bachelor thesis. Based on the findings, a successive financial development will be assessed together with further possible measures for economic growth of the company. The first part contains theoretical knowledge of the apparatus of a financial analysis and selected methods and analysis of macro environment. In the second part, which is based on the stated goal, the gained expertise is used in practice. The work also contains, based on the results of the analysis, a sectoral comparison that helps to illustrate the overall financial situation of the selected company.

The master thesis deals with connection between results of using public procurement and performance indicators. First part of this thesis describes specifics of teaching hospitals, process of using public procurement and performance indicators used in healt care. The practical part contains an analysis of public procurement and an analysis of performance indicators.

The aim of this graduation thesis is to perform comparison of EMPO HOLZ, s. r. o. with selected competitors and industry averages values for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014. Further, this paper aims is to evaluate the financial situation of these compared establishments. Financial health is assessed by the application of financial ratios and the subsequent interpretation of the results. The comparison has been conducted by using unidimensional and multidimensional methods of the intercompany comparison. Spider analysis demonstrates the comparison with average values of industry. Output of this graduation thesis is the position of EMPO HOLZ, s. r. o. in the analysed group. Position in the group is based on the results of the particular methods of intercompany comparison.

This graduation thesis is concerned with financial analysis of company that operates in the telecomunication industry. We can find there analysis of financial statements and financial indicators, in this context, activities of company and influence of alliance with russian holding were described. There were evaluated financial situation and strong and weak points of the company. We can also find there swot analysis, targets and strategies and their fullfilment.

The thesis concerns with measurement of processes of support and maintenance of a specialized information system for petrol stations. It is a system for support of retail sale of fuel and other non-fuel goods. As the main objective of the thesis was selected design of set of metrics for measurement of these processes based on multidimensionality principle. It means that dimensions and indicators are designed separately and a set of recommended metrics is based on their combinations. It is possible to get additional metrics using other combinations. The theoretical basis of the thesis is the ITIL library -- which is an internationally respected standard for IT service management -- and metrics designed in other literature and diploma theses. The designed metrics are adapted for the analyzed environment and service information system, however, they should be usable in other environments as well. Selected metrics were implemented to the service information system and measured in a relatively wide sample of input data. This allowed evaluating usability of the metrics and comparison of the threshold values with the measured ones. The relationship of metrics and service agreements (SLAs) is described in the end of the thesis. Specific metrics suitable to be incorporated to SLA were designed including a real-life example.
