The aim of this thesis was to assess the effects of long-term nitrite exposure on mortality, growth rate and blood biochemistry in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Furthermore, acute toxicity tests with nitrite were performed on rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and sheatfish (Silurus glanis). The theoretical part focuses on aquatic toxicology including toxicity evaluation of substances and preparations for water organisms. Detailed information on nitrite are summarized there, namely information on nitrite occurrence and sources in aquatic environment and the mechanism of their uptake and toxic influence on fish including factors influencing their toxicity. The practical part consists of methodology and results of acute toxicity tests on rainbow trout and sheatfish and sub-chronic test on rainbow trout. According to the acute toxicity tests results, 96hLC50 values were estimated at 11.2 mg.l-1 NO2- for rainbow trout and 15.3 mg.l-1 NO2- for sheatfish. Sub-chronic exposure of rainbow trout to nitrite concentrations ranging from 0.01 to 3.0 mg.l-1 lasting 28 days caused an increase of glucose concentration and a decrease of potassium concentration in the blood plasma among all experimental fish compared to control. Elevated nitrite levels were found in the plasma of the fish exposed to concentrations of 0.6 mg.l-1 NO2- and greater. The plasma nitrite levels did not reach those applied in any experimental group in the present study. At highest nitrite concentration (3.0 mg.l-1 NO2-), 42 % growth inhibition and 65 % mortality among fish was noticed. On the basis of growth rate inhibition data, the values of NOEC and LOEC were estimated at 0.01 mg.l-1 and 0.2 mg.l-1 NO2-, respectively.

The target of my thesis is the examination of influence of accounting entries on formulation of financial analysis indicators, bond between indicators and evaluation of company financial situation. Financial situation is reviewed by means of ratio indicators, financial health indicators and pyramidal analysis. On the basis of results it is a rushing business. It is very sound business. Only in the year 2004 it records financial loss in an amount 357 million CZK due to extraordinary costs of company restructuring. The company shows a profit in other years. The profit has a progressive trend. The company realizes a profit due to a consistent control of operating costs and lower long-term liabilities and short-term credits. It should follow settlement of short-term liabilities better and liquidity.

Thesis focuses on financial analysis and its possible application in daily practice. It presents a number of indicators that can be used as an instrument for financial management of comapny. These indicators, indexes and models are then applied in the analysis of the firm MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská a.s., based in Tábor. Resulting values are simultaneously compared with rated optimal divide for engineering industry. Further is effected analysis some significant indicator on partial indices and rated their influence over total indicator. Last step those financially analyses is comparing resulting values behind year 2006 with occupational average for year 2006 in engineering industry. Last is there foreshadowed possibility exclusion or reducing some one of specific negative phenomenon, which would be able to significantly influence incoming development those companies in future. All ascertained results are processed in form tables and in detail ocommented. Information for processing those diploma work was pump concrete from jubilee news, internet and special literature. The aim of diploma work is refer to financial analysis like on necessary resource for assesment values equity capital and at the same time like on important method predikcion of economic development analysed equity capital.

The purpose of my graduation theses on the theme {\clqq} sheep breending at the ecological farm`` was to analyze the level of uses properities sheep at the ecological farm Slunečná situated in mountain part of Šumava. The detail information from studies of the technical literature specialized on ecological agriculture were brought out to analyze the whole questions of sheep breending at the ecological farm Slunečná. Lacteous utility was judged in term of amount of drawen milk, process of lactational curve was judged in the following way. The evaluation of reproduction was based on four basic reproductive indexes. The weight of 100 days old sheep and the production of wool were detected by scaling. Detected values were lower in most of indexes than published indexes. This fact is connected with detected inadequacies of lairage, nutrition and breending organization. Steps were suggested to eliminate these inaquacies and to innovate the level of breending in conclusion.

The theoretical part describes development grants, financial analysis and farm accountancy data network. The goal of financial analysis was an implementation and consequential formulation of effects of the financial analysis. Basis of the analysis were profit and loss statements and balance sheets. The financial analysis was make on the basis of analysis of proportion indicators: profitability, activity, liquidity and insolventy. Every agricultural enterprise I compared with farm accountancy data network (FADN). The informations for processing this work was predominantly gained from Ministry of agriculture, State agricultural interventional fund, agricultural enterprise, literature and internet.

The main goal of all milk cattle breeders is herd making profit {--} the herd with good reproduction and consequent high production performance. Such a goal can only be reached if the herd is of quality genetic base. Cow{\crq}s milk performance is one of important factors influencing final economic results of milk production. The aim of this Diploma work was to examine lactation course and level as well as reproduction of high-performance Czech pied diary cows with regards to their genetic base. The diary cows (190 pieces) on lactation within 27th March 2008 {--} 13th June 2008 were examined. The examined cows were divided into three groups based on number of their lactation. These groups with cows on 1st, 2nd, 3rd lactation were further divided with regards to their genetic base into herd groups registered as C1 and C2. The sub-herd group C100 was isolated from C1 herd group. To each lactation group, 2{--}3 bulls were assigned based on the highest number of daughters in specific lactation group. Minimum criterion for bull assignment to lactation group was set on at least 5 daughters in the group. Reproduction performance was examined in these groups. The milk performance was evaluated based on 305 days usage, lactation curve persistence index and the lactation curve course in individual groups. The herd-group C2 with highest genetic base of diary breed proved the best results in all lactation groups with regards to reproductive performance. The best results were reached on 3rd lactation. The link between genetic base and reproduction performance of Czech pied cattle was not proved. Neither the link between genetic base and milk performance was proved. The influence of lactation number on most of examined factors was proved. The father{\crq}s influence on reproduction or milk performance was not clearly proved. However, the results may be distorted for lack of diary cows in groups examined under this criterion. Finally, the direct link between reproductive and milk performance was also not clearly proved. To summarize our results, we can state that the diary cows in examined herd were above the milk performance average of Czech pied cattle bred in Czech Republic. At the same time, the reproduction performance was just on average of Czech Republic.

The Master´s thesis focuses on the financial situation evaluation of the particular company, specifically in the period of years from 2006 to 2011, supported by the selected financial analysis indicators. It deals with an analysis of the firm and problems it faces to. Moreover, it brings a number of possible suggestions, which could improve the financial stability of the company in next years.

This master’s thesis contains performance evaluation of Profidebt company using financial analysis indicators from years 2006-2012, further SWOT analysis is performed together with statistical analysis of economic ratios with next term’s prognosis. In the first part, theoretical basis is explained and it is applied on the company in the second part of thesis. In the end, quantified results from the analysis are evaluated and proposals are devised.

The aim of this thesis is to show that the use of heavy-tailed distributions in finance is theoretically unfounded and may cause significant misunderstandings and fallacies in model interpretation. The main reason seems to be a wrong understanding of the concept of the distributional tail. This Master's thesis entitled Author rights protection organizations in the Czech Republic - their activities and presentation focuses on the area of copyright protection, especially in the field of musical work. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation of collective societies operating in the Czech Republic and to compare them in selected areas of activity. The aim of the work is also to evaluate the practical functioning of the collective societies and explain some myths that are routed by the general public about the collective administration. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the definition of basic concepts, as the basis for other chapters dealing with specific collective societies, namely OSA, INTERGRAM and DILIA. This part of the thesis is based on annual reports analysis of these organizations, as well as personal interviews and written communication with these institutions' representatives. This master thesis is particularly helpful as a summary and evaluation of collective organizations' activities that are part of the culture and therefore have a significant impact on the level of Czech and other cultures.
